Hotels near Katara Cultural Village, Doha

I spent a fantastic week at The Chedi Katara Hotel & Resort. I was sad to leave this wonderful place. I have been to other Gulf countries and each country has its own specialty. Qatar has incredible street art, which is unlike anything else in the Middle East. Be sure to visit the Katara Cultural Village, as the hotel is located in this area of ​​Doha. The hotel offers its guests the opportunity to get to nearby attractions by buggy, which is very convenient! My driver was a very helpful and charming guy from Uzbekistan - Azamat, who accompanied me to the nearest metro station and to the Galeries Lafayette shopping center. The hotel has 3 restaurants. The most luxurious, located some distance from the hotel, is La Marsa. I recommend it to everyone! In addition to exquisite dishes, you will greatly enjoy the stunning views of the Persian Gulf. Breakfast is served in another restaurant - the one located in the hotel itself. I am very grateful to the charming Koyel (hostess) and attentive Davron (waiter), who served me at breakfast. Their warmth and hospitality charged me with positive energy for the whole day! At the reception, the beautiful Chaima and the wonderful Hanna always helped me. I am very grateful to the staff and personnel of the hotel, who made my holiday unforgettable!

High end. The service and friendliness were absolutely delightful! Lounging by the beach/pool with such gorgeous views was amazing. Discounts at eateries if you are staying there. Very kind and helpful staff. Very comfortable stay. Byredo hand wash, body lotion etc in the bathroom.Felt very safe and well looked after as a solo female traveller. Was sad to leave after 2 nights. Would highly recommend!

Concierges could have been on shift later in regards to calling for advice for things reception did not have the answers for. Hellen was amazing she went above and beyond for me during my stay at Mondrian. I even left some bits behind which I only noticed 2 days after leaving the hotel. Hellen called me back after I alerted the hotel and informed me that my items were stored in a safe space and gave me a reference code to collect my bits. I would advise also expanding a beauty services in regards to manicure with gel nails. I went elsewhere through recommendation of the hotel reception staff.

amazing hotel in location and best customer service culture, which is noticeable at the doorsteps of hotel entrance by valet parking staff to receptionist and all over the hotel. restaurants and food are second to none. We had our first lunch at the Italian restaurant Sel & Miel , the food and staff are amazing, they surprised us with cake and flowers for our 50th wedding Anniversary and took alot of pictures for us by their Polaroid camera. Special thanks to the best housekeeping ever who surprised us with the setup of our room. we were touched by invitation from Nassira and Huda to have moroccan tea at the lobby bar. I would like to give special thanks to all staff of Lagoon restaurant, Suhila, yasmin, Hatim, Elma, Duwi ,luyoni, and lovely Balaneeis girls who take care of us during our 5 days stays. we definitely will come back and recommend The Ritz Carlton to our friends and family members.

Excellent location, with a beach, which leads on to the board walk and the Pearl walk. And also the Venetian area is a few minutes away. Pool area is well staffed and really lovely. Breakfast was extensive, with option to eat outdoors. Room was large, equipped with a kitchenette (microwave and washing machine and utensils.) Which was useful. My room was with a large balcony, overlooking the sea. Was disappointed with the stocking of supplies, has to request a toothbrush and on my third day, housekeeper didn’t leave any shower gel, staff may need extra training on this, however it’s minor and was easily resolved. Also, no fruit or any welcome drink, which was disappointing. However, staff were super polite and helpful. Overall an excellent 3 nights.

Perfection. This hotel is perfection. If you are traveling and want to spend most of your time exploring and enjoying the great outdoors, I’m afraid I have some news. You will not want to leave your room at all. This hotel is if someone told you that you get to have a home away from home, except you get to stay in the lap of luxury and have your troubles cast away. Extremely clean Perfect service Tranquil Extravagant, but not in a way that overwhelms you, mostly in a way that comforts you and makes you want to stay forever. 5/5!

It was an excellent hotel for a family vacation with all the amenities and excellent service, and the scenery is also great.

Facilities: The hotel is right by the sea, and you can get a ticket to the beach for free. The swimming pool and gym are not crowded, very comfortable. Hygiene: The hotel is very clean. I stayed for several days and it was cleaned on time every day. The breakfast is also good, with Western and Middle Eastern styles. There is a different dish every day. I recommend beef on Monday.
