Receptionist Jonnah not professional at all she requires more training on how to welcome guests and how to deal with them .We didn’t have cash for security deposit and I said we will bring later. We were so tired to go out to a cash machine after a long journey,as we already paid for our stay online but as a rule we missed reading that we have to pay that security deposit she kept calling us  continuously asking for the security deposit? She was too much she stressed us , after we paid and when I need it something. I call the  reception same lady will answer. She will make everything difficult which is ridiculous .a big thank you to housekeeper Team especially Nepali guy who was doing great job . Disappointed that bathroom had dump all around the bath and you can smell it badly.

The only thing we didn't like was the size of the bedroom. It was way too small. Otherwise, kitchen, dining, and living room were clean with well equipped. Almost everything we need for our stay was provided. Also, cafe & pizza restaurants in the hotel helped us for our comfortable stay.

We were forced to move from West Bay because most hotels in Doha are terrible. First of all, the cleaning is not good enough. The biggest problem is that most of the showers have drainage problems. When you take a shower, the water will flood. Girls with long hair can't wash their hair at all. We checked many hotel reviews and found complaints about this problem. We had no choice but to find a hotel with a bathtub and a shower. Finally found this one. Overall, we are satisfied. We stayed for a week. There are still some problems, but compared with the shower drainage problem, these are not a problem. Problems: The bathtub is too narrow. The shower head is too high. The water power of the shower is too weak. The toilet is too close to the sink. You have to turn sideways to use the sink. The room is too cold. The sound insulation needs to be improved. I will be woken up by the sound of chanting. There needs to be more sockets by the bed. It would be warmer and more comfortable if the indoor lights were yellow. The bathroom supplies are only for one person, but you can ask the front desk for them. The bedding has stains. This problem can be found in many hotels in Doha.

Somerset Al Mansoura is a hotel that should be at the top of your list if you plan to visit Doha and are looking for space, affordability and convenient locations! After checking in I made my way to my room and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it didn’t give off the same vibe as any other hotel, it felt like I came back home after a long day due to the homey vibe they have created, and seeing the detailed furnishing and cleanliness of the room made me appreciate and acknowledge the care they’ve put into this place. Somerset also offers quite a number of amenities such as their rooftop pool which is one of the biggest and cleanest I’ve seen, as well as a Sauna and a Steam room which is on the same floor as the pool. Their fitness center also comes equipped with all the necessary equipment that makes it one of the better gyms I’ve seen so far in serviced apartments in Doha! They also have some dining/drinking options with many comfortable places to sit down and enjoy such as Bo’s Coffee, where you can order some light snacks paired with their delicious coffee, as well as a Papa Johns if you’re feeling a bit hungrier. One thing I was able to appreciate a lot was the fact that Papa Johns also did room delivery which was incredibly convenient! The main highlight for me was definitely their pool, I was able to relax and enjoy myself thoroughly and it is definitely something nobody should miss out on! Overall, I was able to have a highly enjoyable time in Doha thanks to Somerset, with their kind and attentive staff, clean and extremely comfortable rooms, various amenities that I had a great time experiencing, I was able to get excellent value for my money! Somerset is also located in such a central spot which was near all the spots I wanted to visit, as well as being conveniently close to the Metro. I will definitely be coming back if I ever get the opportunity to, and I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Doha!

It was really amazing stay. The serviced apartments are spacious, modern and impeccably clean, making it feel home away from home. The staff was really friendly and always ready to assist with any request. I really loved spending my mornings at quite pool, which is located on the rooftop. The location is very good, close to the main sights to see in Doha. I can highly recommend staying at Somerset Al Mansoura!

All the staff it’s so kind and helpful, specially in the reception, they always make us feel like we’re at home. Thanks to Athar he always is taking care of every single detail, definitely it’s the most cozy and peaceful place to stay in Doha, Super recommend.
