It's a 5-minute walk to the southeast corner of Souq Waqif.
The metro station is a 1-minute walk from the exit opposite the souq.
For those who travel frequently by train, it's more convenient than the luxury hotel area.

Good location near the station. The facilities are generally old but spacious. I could see the whole city from the room.
I arrived in the morning, but I was able to check in smoothly.
It was inconvenient that the room temperature could not be adjusted and there were no amenities. There were a lot of ants and gnats in the bathroom.

PERSONALLY, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!
Located only 12km from the airport (count 25 Qatari Riyals by taxi and 20 Riyals with Uber for the return which represents +- 7€!) 👍👍👍
The area where the hotel is located is +- 300m from Souk Waquif. For the rest of the key places to visit you have several options at your fingertips (Uber which will really cost you NOTHING AT ALL, +- 5 to 10 € per trip)
Also note that there are dozens of hotels in this same area! So you are spoiled for choice for a budget of + - 50 to 70€ per night in a double room.
CONCERNING THE HOTEL:
Personally, WE WILL NEVER SET FOOT THERE AGAIN!
- Not mean but the welcome and smile of the reception staff (as a whole) is on order and leaves something to be desired! 🤔
I went there on honeymoon with my wife and we WILL KEEP A VERY BAD MEMORY OF IT!
After spending our 2nd night in this hotel, we had forgotten to pay for the 3rd and a member of staff came to knock on the door at 4:50 am while we were in a deep sleep!!! He even allowed himself to try to open the door with his master card, fortunately the security chain was in place, that's what woke me up! 😡😡😡
- The room is moderately spacious but unfortunately somewhat dilapidated with furniture that is not very fresh but clean.
- The phone in the room does not work!
- We had to call someone to change the batteries in the safe. - the bathroom is blah blah... you have to adapt...
- The room staff (very nice) knocks on your door every morning to ask you to make your room which IS VERY ANNOYING 😡
- If you rent a vehicle, you will have to be patient to find a place near the hotel 🤪
