It was a really pleasant day. If it weren’t for the children who wanted to study, I would have wanted to stay here all the time. The hotel environment is very good. You can see a small waterfall from the room. There is Jiangjun Mountain next to the hotel, which is also a good place to check in. It only takes five minutes. When you reach the top of the mountain, you can see Vietnam next door😐. It is only ten minutes away from Detian Waterfall. The hotel's facilities are very complete, and the lady at the front desk is beautiful and provides excellent service. The most important thing is that the lady boss is super nice!

GGuest UserThe hotel is very stunning. It is a stunning beauty that cannot be truly reflected by the official photos of Ctrip and the photos of guests. The mountain scenery of Guangxi needs to be seen with the naked eye. The mobile phone cannot capture the grandeur of the scene. The hotel housekeeper Jane is a model of hard work. Whether it is 5 am or 11 pm, she will reply quickly. We are surprised! The hotel restaurant is also very amazing and reasonably priced. Special mention should be made of Dongmei from the Ritz-Carlton Tea House. She is warm and thoughtful, and the photos are amazing. The one-to-one tour guide Xiaoliang is also dedicated and responsible. Make our journey efficient and unique. The package of Ritz-Carlton provides an extraordinary experience. You must try it if you have the opportunity. It is a completely different travel experience from buying tickets by yourself. Finally, there are some shortcomings. The bamboo rafting project is relatively cost-effective. The afternoon tea is exposed to the sun outdoors and the taste is completely unpalatable. This project can be re-evaluated.

The hotels food is simple but delicious and the location couldn’t be better. Rooms are clean and the Mountain View rooms provide a beautiful look out onto the local scenery. Overall this is a great place to stay if you are visiting this region.

I cannot say enough good things about the amazing service that the staff provided. Joyous staff. Good feelings. Not much English spoken (well basically none as is usual in China based on my experience) but with the help of the various apps and a positive attitude this is practically not a real issue. It can even be fun. Anyway they fulfilled all my requests and more than that (incl. for the breakfast as I suffer from diabetes) and always made sure I was happy and enjoying my stay.
The rooms I had (2 stays) were very large. The air conditioning was very efficient and silent. The views were so enjoyable (yes out there in Mingshi there are better views of course but still). The large bed was very comfortable. Big sofa, tables, chairs ... and a lot of space. Nice bathroom with good shower. A fridge was available and included some ”free” drinks.
I found the location perfect as it is not in the village itself but on the other side of the little river. So it is very quiet. A very short drive to the village and even walking requires no more than 30 minutes.
Restaurants are only available in the village and bike rentals are way cheaper in the village too. I would certainly not recommend the local shop close to the hotel for rentals as the deals proposed are absurd (well prices the owner articulated were simply exorbitant).
I will definitely return to Mingshi as I loved the region and there is so much to discover. I will quite certainly look no further than the Yunlu. Location. Peacefulness. But above all because of the extraordinary customer friendly attitude and the good spirit of the ”team”.

LLuoyang98Mingshi Yaju, the first thing that impressed me was the location and environment of the hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located in the scenic area. The hotel is built by the water. There is a green river downstairs and a long mountain opposite. It is very pleasant. The swimming pool and the river face each other. Every shot is a beautiful photo. But the service must be the one that can keep the guests' hearts. Since adding the hotel butler's WeChat, you will find that Yaju's service is constant temperature, and all questions are answered, and the reply speed is even faster. The hotel also provides guests with bamboo raft afternoon tea. Speaking of bamboo rafts, I have to talk about the handsome boy Xiao Tan, who is kind and enthusiastic, generous in conversation, very talkative, and a very sunny and thoughtful young man. The car cannot enter the scenic area, but don't worry, the shuttle bus like a classic car is always at the service of the guests. Even the restaurant at the entrance of the scenic area (actually very close) can't bear to let the guests walk too much, and will take the initiative to arrange the car. Every staff member of the hotel has a very high sense of service. Some luggage is not heavy, but they all emphasize that they are handed over to them. The restaurant is only a hundred meters away. Xiao Yu was afraid that we didn't know the exclusive location of Yaju, so he walked with us. It was really thoughtful and considerate. The hotel provided national costumes. I was originally worried that no one would take pictures for me with the elderly and children. Xiao Yu took the trouble to take pictures for me, leaving many beautiful memories. This trip was because of my mother's birthday, but we stayed in another hotel on her birthday. Unexpectedly, the hotel also carefully prepared a birthday cake for my mother on the day we checked in. The room was decorated. My mother was very happy, which made us feel a little happier on this trip. As a guest, I can deeply feel that Yaju is a hotel that pays great attention to the feelings of guests. They are not afraid of guests' suggestions, but just want to do better. Yaju's service is like a thermos cup that can always warm your heart. The environment is elegant like the shell of a thermos bottle, but we finally chose to keep a thermos cup because of its durability. GGuest UserWhat a great place. From the moment I entered I was met with warmth and kindness. The staff went above and beyond to make my visit here exceptional. Even though the waterfalls are a little way down the road, Roland offered to drive me to the ticket office and pick me up when I was done! I did walk back which took a good 1. 5hrs but Roland was on hand if I needed a lift 😀. The room was clean and comfy with a great view. The amenities and facilities in the room are well thought out. Also, the hotel is a short walk to Shuolong Town which has lots of nice restaurants. Truly the staff were amazing and I couldn't have wished for a better stay. Thank you, Roland and Co

EEatPrayTravelLocation of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area.

MMaomaozhuA family of three and four children booked two rooms at Zhenshan and stayed there for two nights. They arrived in the afternoon of the first day, had some noodles and then checked in at Yulingba and Xingfu Bridge. They arrived at Detian on the second day, came back to rest, and left the hotel on the third day and headed to the next stop.
Zhenshan is in a very good location, close to the Xingfu Bridge in Yulingba and a little far from the Xingfu Community, but you can get there by renting an electric scooter (the price is negotiable). It is also a 40-minute drive from Detian by car.
The breakfast at Zhenshan is rich and well-supplied. One bowl of noodles is enough for a big or small snack for us. The Shiwei restaurant opposite to the restaurant is pretty good, and the hand-made yellow-skinned lemon dish next to it is delicious. If you have high demands for food and can afford the prices, you can go to the Chinese restaurants there. (The last few pictures are from there)

TTianyihuo7742Go to Chongzuo Mingxuan Pastoral in Guangxi to play the room, follow the navigation into the village entrance not far away, the door can be parked, is arranged on the third floor, floor-to-ceiling window view room, but there is a better view room! The same as the landscape of the community there, the price is much cheaper! Traveling to see the scenery, accommodation is just a sleep! The room was clean, the toilet smelled a bit, the landlord borrowed a bicycle for me, riding the view, very good! There is also a restaurant on the first floor, breakfast 10/person, dinner can be ordered! The taste is OK, the first day to eat stir-fried vegetables, the next day to eat a warm pot, the price is still OK! The ingredients are also very fresh! Overall, it is recommended to stay and eat!

GGuest UserThe villa counter staff are prompt in responding to every request. They are very helpful, polite and professional. So is everyone else, including the housekeeping cleaners. The shuttle bus comes readily when called.
Our courtyard room for 3 with a loft on level 2, with balcony facing the pool is new, clean and well-furnished. There are 4 of us and extra blankets and pillows are given readily upon request for the 4th person.
The shower heater in the bathroom works well and water drains well in the bathroom. The air heater works perfectly to keep us warm in the winter cold.
Buffer breakfast has a big variety of very delicious food, including hot noodle soup with meat and vegetables.
The traditional dance at 8pm is a must-watch especially the lighting of fire and mass dance at the finale.
Everyone and everything are excellent and make our stay so pleasant and memorable.
However we still feel that the room rate is too pricey for a rural environment. And there’s no need to have boat tickets daily. One time boat-ride is sufficient.
