However, an episode occurred when I entered the room. The toilet in the room was sticky because of the original guest. After tearing off the toilet seat, the glue was all stuck to the toilet. I started looking for a hotel, but heard nothing for more than ten minutes. Later, I contacted the front desk manager to come and deal with it, and the manager solved the problem very quickly. Objectively speaking, there are certain problems in hotel management. Problem, because when the cleaning lady went in to look at it, she directly said that it was caused by the previous guest sticking the toilet seat. It was his problem. If you didn't clean it up, it was your hotel's problem. Fortunately, it was solved perfectly in the end. I still recommend it and hope that The hotel should not let down this beautiful city

Originally, there was no room in the other Puyin hotel, so I booked this one. The hotel is in Xincheng District. The streets are clean and quiet, convenient for traveling and eating. The room is quite big, and a twin room for a family of three is no problem👌🏻. The service is very friendly. The places to eat nearby recommended by the front desk guy are all delicious 👍🏻, there is free underground parking 🅿️, there are many varieties of breakfast, the shaved noodles taste better than the ones outside, and they are delicious. The bathroom is independent, and the wash basin is outside the bathroom, which feels uncomfortable. It's so convenient. The corridor room smells like wood from the decoration. I'm sensitive to smells, but everything else is great!

I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn all the way here. This time I returned to Datong, Shanxi. The lobby is magnificent, the reception service at the front desk is in place, and the breakfast is as good as always! I booked two different room types for two days. Xiaofeng at the front desk especially helped to upgrade the room type. I give it a thumbs up 👍🏻. I will patronize it again next time I travel.

房間乾淨，設施很新，還贈送了零食。 服務非常好，店裡的小夥子看我們沒車，去雲岡石窟不方便，主動提出開車送我們過去！來回估計佔用了人家兩個小時，想給留一些油費，也堅決不要。感覺很過意不去。我們真切感受到大同人的淳樸熱情，下次希望還能再來大同，還住這裏。

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while exploring Datong and surrounding attractions. The location was perfect for us - nestled between both major train stations, a short walk to the old city, and conveniently very close to the bus station to the Hanging Monastry. The staff were very polite and helpful, some could speak some English. We were given various complimentary gifts and desserts during our stay. We loved the free tea (of various varieties) in the lobby! The room was a little old but clean, comfortable and quiet. I guess the only complaint is the elevator - they only have two but about 14 floors and it was utter chaos trying to move about in the morning when everyone wants to check out. Small issue though.

When we arrived we were given the wrong room in B tower with single beds, we had to go back downstairs and show the booking again to request the correct double room in A tower. The rooms and amenities are old, and the fridge is broken. I called reception who told me to bring any items I want to cool down to the reception and use their fridge, when I asked if we can swap the broken fridge for a working fridge, they said all of the fridges are like this. They won't admit the fridges are all broken, but all of the fridges in the hotel are warm and won't make your food / beverages cold. The hotel is in dire need of an upgrade, and they need to replace the fridges.

I am from Malaysia, totally obsessed with this place and location, the person in charge, the lady explained to us the story and the history of this 2000 years old building Old Pipa ,I know is the old building with historic but didn't know the much story behind until I Google it, very appreciated that we still able to enjoy such a beautiful and well maintained room and building . The room come with a/c,hot shower smart toilet bowl, slipper and toothbrush and kettle. Breakfast is good. Love it. Hope people that come to stay here spent some time on the architectural and antiques that display in the duilding. Will definitely introduce to my friends and family if they visit 山西。
