The hotel is very good. The breakfast was good and so were the facilities. The hotel staff provided excellent service. Give a thumbs up to Mr. Duoji, the waiter.

Hotel was good in Daocheng county. More convenient to airport than Yading town

Although we felt a bit uncomfortable at high altitude, the hotel provided an oxygen machine and dinner that relieved much of our stress. The onsen spa was also a unique experience. We booked a room with an airport drop-off package, and our driver, Duoji, provided excellent service by assisting with our luggage to the check-in counter. Overall, it was an excellent experience in this high-altitude hotel and small towm.

I had a great stay at Snow Area Hot Spring Garden Hotel! It’s a very good hotel and a perfect base if you’re flying in or out of Yading Airport — they offer a free shuttle service, which is super convenient since the airport is about an hour’s drive away. One of the highlights was the “midnight snack” they provide between 9 PM and midnight: a big bowl of delicious noodles and soup delivered right to your room. Honestly, it felt more like a full meal than a snack — so comforting after a long day! The staff may not be fluent in English, but they are incredibly kind and tried their best to assist us. We felt very welcomed throughout our stay. The room itself was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything a traveler could need. If you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay before or after your Yading trip, I highly recommend Snow Area Hot Spring Garden Hotel!

The hotel is in a good location. Rooms are clean, would be useful to have individual oxygen supply for each room. The breakfast is delicious and varied. Hot springs not available at our time of travel.

Good service

Snow Garden Hotel is almost a ******* Museum: on almost every wall is something of cultural interest. As is so often the case in China the group of young women on reception duties band together to help the linguistically challenged foreign tourist. The hotel is situated in Jinzhu Town, which is about half way between Daocheng Airport and Yading Scenic Area, helpful for acclimatisation. It is on one of the main streets, with easy access to shops and eateries.

Service: We were incredibly satisfied. As soon as the car arrived, a staff member guided us to parking and helped with our luggage. During our trip, a friend sprained her foot. Upon seeing the hotel staff, they immediately provided a wheelchair and drove her to a local hospital for an X-ray. They accompanied her throughout the entire process. The results weren't available until an hour later, so we took her back to the hotel to rest while the staff accompanied her to the hospital to get the results. This was the best hotel service we received during our 318 trip. Any overcharges were promptly refunded. I highly recommend this hotel for your trip to Daocheng Yading! Environment: The environment is fantastic. Facilities: Free laundry service is perfect for those traveling for two weeks or a month and struggling to do laundry. Simply call the front desk, and they'll collect your laundry from your room and deliver it to your door at 7:00 a.m. the next morning. The laundry is always dry and has a light fragrance.

Overall, I was quite satisfied with the room; it was spacious and comfortable. Located on a corner street, it wasn't noisy, and they provided a wide selection of snacks! This was very helpful for a long trip! The hotel's exterior doesn't look as luxurious as the pictures show, and it's easy to miss at an intersection. Despite its location, parking is quite convenient. The hotel offers hot springs, but perhaps because we went late and there were fewer people, the pools weren't open very often, and the water wasn't very hot. Be sure to dress warmly if you're going to soak in the water at night.

The hotel is located in the center of Daocheng County. The hotel has complete supporting facilities, warm service, and clean and tidy rooms. In particular, the diffused oxygen in the room is very good and the sleep is comfortable. Come again next time
