This was an amazing stay. While it wasn't directly on the river, my room had an eventful river view and it was about an 8ish minute walk to the river and Yalu Bridge. This hotel is connected to a mall with some pastry shops, noodles, a pizza restaurant and a starbucks so in the dead of winter (we came in Feb) it was convenient. A huge perk is the fact that it was a stones throw from the rail station, about 5 minutes walking. Thank you to 王君瑶 Coco Wang for helping make our stay special. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was great value for money. The pool was great and the gym was very well equipped. It is located right next to the Wanda Plaza, so food and shopping was a quick walk away. Staff was friendly and could communicate in English. All and all very satisfied. We would use them again in the future.

Good location from the river walkway to the broken bridge. Also a 15 minute taxi ride to the railway station made it very convenient. Best Western style and Chinese breakfast one could ask for as well as ongoing friendly service. The coffee could be better, but cannot compare it to a coffee shop. Spacious warm rooms made it the perfect place to rest and relax after a busy day (during winter). Will definitely be back if I return to Dandong

The hotel was really clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast served was good. There were only 2 small issues. People smoking in the hotel, even with signs saying no smoking. Staff didn't stop people from smoking. And secondly during the night there's a strange humming noise in the bedroom.Otherwise a really good stay and I would definitely recommend others to book their stay there.

The hotel is located on the Yalu River, with a beautiful and quiet environment. It is only one bridge away from Moon Island. The hotel has complete facilities, spacious and luxurious, and first-class service. This time I stayed in a river view room on the 22nd floor, with a wide view. Not only can I see Moon Island, but I can also see North Korea across the river! The night view near the hotel is also beautiful. I took a few photos with my camera for your reference. Although the holiday room prices have risen a bit, it is really comfortable to stay. I still recommend staying. A suggestion is that the facilities in the gym are too monotonous. I hope to add some strength training equipment!

In order to go to Yanji, I stopped in Dandong for one stop and booked the Vienna International Hotel. As soon as I entered the lobby, I saw the staff doing hygiene. If you book a standard single room, you have to go through a corridor to another elevator. The hotel with elevator access is still very safe. The room is not big, but it is clean and tidy. The oil paintings decorated on the walls of the hotel are very artistic. The price is not expensive

Pros: quite clean. The beds are pretty comfortable and they give spring water from Changbai mountain instead of filtered bottle water. You can oversee North Korea from the window. Cons: bathroom made me quite speechless. The fact that the shower and toilet are in the same space was less of an issue, but the set up is like a public shower in China and it's not the most comfortable place to get ready. Towels were clean but very old. Only one light in the room and the only switch is by the door. They need a bit of a renovation asap.

This is the second time I stayed at Venice Jianguo Hotel in Dandong, just because it is on Moon Island~~ Facing the river, facing North Korea, with beautiful environment, fresh air, and a strong artistic atmosphere on the island. There are art galleries and the most artistic cafe in Dandong. The hotel rooms and services are good! I got off the high-speed rail in the afternoon and came to the hotel to rest very relaxed. It is particularly worth mentioning that the hotel's breakfast is rich, with both Chinese and Western food, mainly delicious, and fresh ingredients. There are big shrimps every day🍤! The wonton stew, noodles, and freshly boiled chicken soup are delicious! In short, because the hotel is comfortable, the three-day trip to Dandong is particularly pleasant! Not to mention the hygiene, the service and attitude are absolutely in place. The most powerful thing is that their beds are all 1.5 meters wide! It means that the standard room can accommodate at least four people! It is too friendly for family travel. And the price is reasonable, rest after driving to Fengcheng on the first day, climb Phoenix Mountain on the second day, and continue the journey after a full rest on the third day. I strongly recommend staying for two consecutive days!
