Excellent hotel to stay in... though far from the Dalian Downtown itself as it is in Dalian Development Area (大连开发区). If taking the subway downtown, it is quite a walk away. Very doable.
Superb service, super clean rooms, and very helpful staff all around.
There's a night market nearby, it is also a morning market.. so plenty of options for food if not ordering in.
Easy commute (didi or bus) to Jinmao Mall (金玛商城) & Anshan Road Pedestrian Street (安盛步行街) or for more upmarket Dalian Development Area Wanda Plaza (大连开发区万达广场).

I was happy with the price, location, cleanliness and helpfulness of the staff. Bed was comfortable but the sheets were not very new, bathroom was clean, new and very convenient

This is the most cost-effective hotel I've stayed in during my many visits to Dalian. While the room rates are lower than other similarly priced hotels, the hotel offers exceptional comfort and service. The rooms are clean, spacious, and quiet, and the staff are warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. For a great stay with children, Jinjiang Inn is your top choice!

The room facilities are okay. I met the housekeeping lady in the morning and I needed a pack of toilet paper, and she brought it to me immediately. The front desk check-in and check-out were all very good. The only bad thing was the breakfast. Not only was there not much variety, but they also asked guests to put away their own tableware. There was no service at all. I ate noodles without seasoning. I wanted to give a bad review, but the front desk manager apologized and responded promptly. It's still acceptable.
