Just nice play, big place i stay at 4 beg in 1 room. Suitable but toilet out but still can consider. Owner friendly and i get postcard free! Have heater a bit slow and microwave nice. Place near with morning market. Have rooftop view to see mountain and full moon

Amazing place. Perfect location in the old town. The owner is very helpful. He could arrange everything for you.

Although I kept to myself I had a pleasant stay. The beds are comfortable and the shower has some nice hot water. The female dorm has no AC but it wasn't needed because it was never too warm in the room. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. I really liked the location, just outside of the old town and in walking distance to the Three-Pagoda. The hostel can be a bit tricky to find - on the right side of the pottery store you'll see the words Dali Kingdom. If you follow the arrow and the red lanterns you'll quickly arrive at the hostel.

The staff here are really kind and the location is great. The beds are so warm and cozy and they have huge heavy blankets for when it's cold.

I had a great stay at Manba (慢吧客栈). I found this hostel on trip.com and decided to book. I really enjoyed it! The boss and staff were very nice and went out of their way to give me recommendations and help me with anything I needed. They were also very patient with my poor Chinese. The other guests were talkative and open minded. Two of them invited me to ride around the lake together on ebikes. It was a lot of fun. The hostel is quite quiet and peaceful so it's not incredibly social. I think many people are staying there long term (couple months or longer). The dorm was clean and well maintained with plenty of storage space for my belongings. The bed was comfy and I had no noise or privacy issues. The shared bathroom was also clean and functional. Finally, the hostel organizes various activities for guests, such as tea drinks, board games, cultural seminars and language exchanges. These activities not only provide entertainment, but also allow me to make new friends from all over the world. All in all, my experience with my youth journey has been remarkable.

Great staff, I had a lovely stay. It's so close to the center, local markets and pagodas too Highly recommend!

There were only Chinese people here, but everyone was really nice and the hostel was good.

The staff were amazing. They play great music in the cafe area. Free tea and hot water. Great place!

The location in town is perfect. All the team is really gentle helpful and friendly. I was in a single room in front of the terrace where I could see the lake, the place is also really peaceful and silent, in a busy city like Dali is the perfect place just to relax. And I love cats , so having them just outside my room was a plus. Really lovely place !
