The male staff member didn't speak English, but he was very kind and helpful. I also appreciated the free breakfast. The location of the hotel was good, as all the tourist attractions were within walking distance. However, a local friend of mine told me that the area around the hotel was a little dangerous. However, I didn't encounter any danger and was able to stay comfortably.

Es un hotel pequeño cuyas fotos de Booking no necesariamente coinciden con la realidad, aunque no está ubicado en un lugar muy bonito, es un lugar de comercio mayorista, pero está relativamente cerca al centro. El desayuno es regular, había agua caliente y la familia que lo atiende se esfuerza por atenderte bien.

This is a budget hotel - but the value and service for the price cannot be beat. I stayed here for 6 nights when I was in Cusco and my single room was private, clean, private bathroom with plenty of hot running water and in a very convenient location. The area is convenient for the main attractions of Cusco - however it would not be suitable for everyone. The markets that run outside the hotel on both sides attract a lot of people and it’s busy and could be a little intimidating for some. I never felt anything but safe and the hotel staff seemed to have a good handle on potential problems. They even looked after my luggage for a whole day before I flew home and were always helpful and welcoming. I would recommend if you like a slice of the local life and are on a budget!
