Great location close to the historic centre, local market, supermarket and restaurants. The initial welcome and intro was great by Carmen. After that her colleague was not as warm and friendly as her.
The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny and hard to move. The bathroom didn't have any hooks to hang towels or clothes. They forgot to clean the room one day despite requesting and they don't provide it but we're happy to sell you shampoo.
They weren't able to accommodate a take away breakfast for an early morning tour despite having paid for breakfast. Overall felt it didn't represent value for what they were charging given the less than satisfactory experience.

I stayed there for two nights, but no matter how many times I asked, they wouldn't install a curtain in the shower room. Because of that, I slipped and fell, and hit my back and head hard.

Hotel facilities are average though. However, the service was attentive and the landlady was extremely patient in arranging a trip to Machu Picchu and a one-day trip to Cusco. Her English communication skills are greatly appreciated. Like!

I can assure you that this is a hotel worth staying at. The owner and his wife are very nice people. When there is a problem to be solved, they will help attentively. We had a problem with our ticket and they spent three hours to help us solve it. This is our personal experience. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍👍👍

It was a cold season, but there was no heating, and the key to my room wouldn't open smoothly, so I had to go downstairs several times to ask, which was inconvenient.
There was never anyone at the front desk.
I introduced several people to the hotel at the same time, but it seemed some of them didn't even have hot water in the shower, which was unfortunate.
The lights at the entrance were not on at night, and on the first day the taxi driver couldn't find the room and dropped me off in the wrong place.

The location is near the Plaza de Armas and is very convenient to go anywhere. The room was very clean. There is also a travel agency on the first floor. When I arrived at the store at 5:30 in the afternoon, the proprietress helped me book a bus➕train trip that would leave at 3:30 in the morning. She also asked me to run to the Hotwater Town Visitor Center as soon as I got off the train, because most people came to queue for that train. Those who buy tickets will wait for dozens more people every minute they are late. I bought the classic Line 2 at 8 o'clock the next morning as I wished, and later booked two one-day tours at the boss's house, as well as a bus to Puno in the evening.
