"Pros: 1. The hotel's natural environment is excellent, offering sightings of incredibly rare protected animals. They also provide a free wildlife tour, which I highly recommend. It's a fantastic experience to simply walk around the hotel and spot monkeys foraging. 2. The service is outstanding. The hotel staff are attentive and very considerate of guests. The welcome drink was delicious. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, and I received a room upgrade with a great view and a spacious layout. 3. The slippers were very comfortable. The breakfast tableware was exquisite. Cons for me: 1. The claim of being the 'most beautiful Intercontinental' is an exaggeration. Some areas even felt [as pictured], though I suppose one could call it 'unique.' Personally, I found it gaudy. 2. I strongly recommend including executive lounge access. If you arrive early, since there's no air conditioning in the public areas, the only cool indoor space to relax is the executive lounge. Otherwise, you're stuck waiting in the hotel lobby, and elderly guests and children need to be careful to avoid heatstroke. 3. The breakfast was delicious, and the fruit quality was high. However, it's baffling why the other restaurants were so bad. After reading reviews that even the Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant wasn't great, I booked a package that included dinner. I paid extra to change the dishes, but they were still terrible. It was arguably the worst meal I had in Vietnam. 4. Although the hotel was uncrowded and had a good environment, the beach quality was very average, and the loungers by the sea started closing down every day at 6 PM. In summary, I think this Intercontinental is worth staying at, but don't go in with exceptionally high expectations."

"This is a nice resort if a bit too simple and a bit odd at times. It’s well looked after, beautiful and full of greenery, inhabited by funny Myna birds, which made every moment of being outside a bit more peculiar and entertaining. But there’s not much to explore around the territory. Most of the pathways are dead ends leading to rooms. And it’s basically just the pool, 3 restaurants, reception, spa, and rooms, rooms, rooms. The pool is rather big, but seems to be suffering from some architectural and design flaws. It’s never in the shade and has no cooling system, hence it gets very hot very fast, lacking refreshing and cooling properties it should have. Breakfast buffet offers a lot, but lacks simple foods. Many of the dishes are too oily, fat, salty or sweet, and you can’t do anything about it. The beach is nice, but rather small and empty, lacking beach beds on the grassy area and lacking a couple of more showers and steps to the sea. Thankfully the sea itself is great, clean and cool. The rooms are fine, with AC not pointing at the bed, but there are not enough power outlets and there’s not enough furniture. The staff are all welcoming and helpful, but we didn’t have many opportunities to interact with them. Which is probably a good thing, meaning that we don’t encounter many issues during our stay. Fitness room is surprisingly big with lots of equipment and event air-conditioned properly, but we sadly didn’t have time to use it, as we enjoyed the sea too much. The resort is well situated, very close to Hoi An and to lots of local eateries."

"A rather atmospheric and stylish hotel with an impressive facade that stands out from the architecture of other hotels. The room is clean, minimalist, and stylish. I liked the design choice of integrating the washbasin area into the main room space. The porcelain stoneware flooring in the room was pleasant to the touch. Breakfast was ordinary. The infinity pool was incredible."

"We booked a family connecting rooms. Rooms were clean, and we were happy with the service. Everyone is nice starting from front desk and bell boy service. Breakfast is great so much variety. And the hotel garden and open area is so calming. Just drink a coffee and enjoy. Thank you again"
