Great location, 10 minutes walk down to the beach. There are 2 pools, one heated and always sun beds available. Did hear they had a booking system for these but we never had to. Bars, restaurants and a shop on the complex which was useful. The only issue was they had live music on from 4pm every day and it seemed unnecessarily loud. It didn’t bother us too much but can imagine it would be a nightmare if you had a balcony closer to the bars. Apartment was great, balcony overlooking the pool and very well equipped. The staff left a bottle of wine for my partners 30th while we were there which was a nice touch. Would stay again, but would definitely recommend emailing ahead and asking for a room away from the bars.

Lovely self-catering apartment. The staff were amazing and welcoming (we arrived at 2am and receptionist still had a lovely smile for us), the apartment was spotlessly clean with a free safe, air con, dishwasher ,full sized fridge, and a huge balcony . The pool was amazing with plenty of sun beds, the swim up bar was great value, and the slushie cocktails were lovely and refreshing . Will definitely be back

The apartment was fine. Very basis but you get what you pay for. Hot water was fine. Beds are fine. Breakfast at €9 each was not great but machine coffee was ok. Toast was good lots of spreads offered. Staff friendly. Spa good but pedicure was a bit expensive. It's quiet place just what we like. Lifts ok. Clean enough. A couple of bar, café and restaurants close by if you don't want the 15 min walk to beach. Good supermarket 2 mins walk. Would stay again.

We were pleasantly surprised at the Playaolid all inclusive holiday that we have just experienced and I am really not wanting to share this as I want to keep this place a secret but the previous reviewer gave such a poor review I wanted to give an honest review of our experience. The staff here are very welcoming and work extremely hard. We were situated at the back of the hotel where the adult pool and bar area were and it was extremely pleasant. The rooms are cleaned daily (at least that was our experience) and they are a generous sized with comfortable beds and excellent pillows. There is also British tv channels if you want it but the entertainment than the hotel provides is varied each evening (we loved the Tina Turner experience). Yes the hotel is up a hill but after eating at the restaurant the walk would probably do you good. There are bus stops right outside the hotel so you could use them or you can hire mobility scooters (they’re everywhere). As for the food the choices were absolutely brilliant!! Different choice every night - even had a Mexican Themed night last night. We will defiantly be coming back hopefully this year again. There are a great deal of activities throughout the day and the entertainment team are excellent!
