The hotel is 2 kilometers around the hotel. It belongs to the city center. Every day, you can hear the bells of the central church. The corridor is not very good. The room is small, but all the facilities inside are very new, and there are 2 windows. The windows are particularly interesting. After leaving Paris for Italy 🇮🇹, we landed and were picked up and driven to Lake Como. I had pre-booked this lakeside hotel, which boasts an excellent location. We opted for a lake-view room, and indeed, you can enjoy the beautiful lake scenery right from the balcony. It would be lovely to sip coffee or a drink on the balcony in the summer while admiring the view. While the hotel room furnishings are a bit dated, they are immaculately clean. There's a bar and restaurant on the ground floor, and conveniently, a Carrefour, a food court, and a DM supermarket are just a short walk behind the hotel. We spent some time exploring the small town, had lunch by the lake, and enjoyed a cup of coffee. If you're with a group, you could even rent a small yacht and take a tour around Lake Como to soak in the lake views and surrounding scenery.

The studio was located in the old town, 9 mins away by feet from the Saint Mary Assunta Cathedral and 12 mins away by feet from the ferries' piers. Self check in was possible (though I was offline, so opted for standard check in). Great staff. The studio was spacious, clean, with all the amenities I needed. Bed and pillows were very compfy. Wifi was available for free. Self check out was simple.

I had an amazing experience during my stay at Hotel Metropol Suisse-Como.The central location with stunning lake views made the visit even more special. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every single day, and the standard of cleanliness was outstanding. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly caring and polite. The bar staff were always friendly and attentive, and the food in the restaurant was absolutely delicious. I was genuinely impressed that the team even remembered exactly how I like my coffee — such a thoughtful touch that made me feel truly valued as a guest. I was travelling with my mum, who has mobility difficulties, and the staff went above and beyond for her. They were always ready to help, often running to open the doors for her without us even asking. Their kindness really meant a lot to us. A special mention goes to Elvira, who was wonderfully attentive and polite during breakfast every morning. She always asked about our experience and made sure we had everything we needed. The reception staff were also outstanding, regularly checking if there was anything more they could do to make our stay even better. The food in the restaurant was superb, and it was lovely to see the owner present and engaging with guests to make sure everyone was happy. Overall, it was a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. I cannot praise the hotel enough and will definitely be returning again and again. Highly recommended!

Amazing staff and the hotel is so beautiful.great location, central to everything. Funicular is just 2 mins away and the station is just next turn. Located just overlooking the beautiful lake como. A must visit to this place and hotel try and book the room facing the lake. Unfortunately when we tried it was completely full. Breakfast is really good and all staff were extremely courteous. Loved loved loved it

The hotel was clean and very well maintained. The bed was great and comfortable. We had the room in the attic. I would say it’s slightly less than what I would have expected for the price given that we didn’t have any windows looking out. The location was fantastic. Super close to the lake and really nice restaurants. Furthermore, the train station was also a 5 minute walk away should you need it. Would’ve been nice if the breakfast was included and/or reasonably priced.

Good location, not far from the train station and the pier. The room was clean and comfortable, one bedroom and one living room apartment. The reception staff was very enthusiastic and patient. Although it is written as a 4-diamond hotel, close to 2000 nights, it is actually an apartment, there is no front desk and no door. The hotel also wants to contact us in advance to inform us, but unlike airbin, you can contact us directly. After arriving, you need to call the boss to pick us up. Since there is no front desk, the luggage can be stored until 4 o'clock. Pay attention to the matters in advance. It's not a big problem.

Todo correcto, la habitación amplia y con aire acondicionado. El parking algo caro y hay que reservar. Realmente se aparca en el patio delantero del hotel, hay que dejar las llaves y ellos mueven los coches para colocarlos. Muy cerca del centro y de los muelles para coger los barcos que te llevan a otras ciudades. El desayuno correcto.

Very good location in front of the lake, nice view from our bedroom. Breakfast was very good, lots of selections. All staff are very helpful and friendly special mention to Ronald, Grace, Jade, Carl and other staff. You made our holiday memorable. A big thank you! 😍

The soundproofing and bed are better than 99% of the hotels I have stayed in. Small details such as the coffee machine kettle is not clean enough, the TV remote control battery is insufficient, and it is easy to splash water when washing your face (the washbasin is a little short), but these are not enough to cover up the advantages. Because the soundproofing and bed are the hard core strength of the hotel. This hotel has both the warmth of a family hotel and the quality of a group hotel.
