Hotels in Cologne City Center, Cologne

Overall a great hotel.room size was good.location was excellent.breakfast was probably one of the best we have experienced in Europe. One downside was the disappointing so called fitness suite..im sorry to say a treadmill,a couple of exercise bikes & a multigym doesnt really add up to a suite.. Also the changing rooms need addressing as there was only 2 booths to get changed in.. Still 9/10 for the Martim Hotel Koln..

Excellent location. Formerly an Interconti Hotel 5 stars. Therefore the rooms are very spacious and luxurious but unfortunately with many traces of use. A makeover is therefore certainly in order. Bathroom with bath and separate shower was fine. Parking right next to the hotel and Holmes Spa in the building. Everything at extra cost. Service generally friendly and helpful. Breakfast, if not booked in advance for 32.00 euros is too expensive. The hotel is more modern than the somewhat further away Hotel Maritim.

The mattress was too hard and the guests next door were too loud.

Really lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. We got a free upgrade to a business suite when we got there. Really nice clean room with everything you need. Great location near the cathedral and the river. Plenty of nice restaurants around

There is air conditioning in Germany, which is very life-saving in the hot summer... The front desk is very good, the facilities are not dragging four stars. The location is very good, the city center is convenient, and the surrounding supermarkets are all available. Five-star recommendation, I don't know why Google score is so low... The front desk is very polite

The location is very good, the front desk staff are also very friendly, check in in the afternoon, I used to temporarily store things in the warehouse in the morning and did not lose it, I felt very comfortable. The first time I stayed in a hotel abroad alone, the experience can be said to be very good. Next time I have the opportunity to go to Cologne, I will choose this one again.

Quietly, conveniently and serenely stayed at this hotel for the past 6 days. Good to recommend this hotel as a priority choice especially for cologne travellers who preferable to stay away from bustling areas. An enjoyable back and forth daily walk from hotel to train station whereby some good restaurants are the best solutions of our hungers. Highly recommended to stay and definitely will stay again in the future. Thank you..

Gute Lage im Shopping-Distrikt der Innenstadt. 10 Minuten zum Bahnhof. 5 Gehminuten zum Dom oder zum Rhein. Zuvorkommrnde, freundliche Angestellte. ZIMMER, Rezeption und Restaurant frisch modernisiert. Ansprechendes Design. Ausstattung aber eher Basic. Kein Kühlschrank, kein Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Altmodische Tür mit Schlüssel. Das Zimmer insgesamt sehr klein. Das Bett mit guter Schlafqualität. Das Frühstück ansprechend präsentiert. Höhepunkt: Die frischen Waffeln.

Zu meinem Aufenthalt: das Zimmer war sehr schön und das Bett total bequem. Sehr lobenswert fand ich, dass ihr Streamingdienste angeboten habt. Das war sehr cool. Das einfache Einchecken war auch ein großer Pluspunkt. Was gar nicht geht, ist das niemand zu erreichen ist, wenn es spät mal Probleme gibt… das sollte sich ändern. Bei uns hat der Strom nicht funktioniert, auch wenn es schon nach 1 Uhr war, ich musste mein Handy dringend laden, das wäre zu einem Problem geworden. Glücklicherweise hat mein Partner Ahnung von Elektrik, weshalb er das Problem vorübergehend lösen konnte. Abschließend noch ein dicker Minuspunkt: kurz nach 11 hat bereits jemand vom Reinigungsservice geklopft und hat kurz danach einfach unsere Tür geöffnet nachdem keine Antwort kam!!! ABSOLUTES NO-GO!!! Zumal wir bis 12 Uhr Zeit hatten. Als Pärchen ist man dann vielleicht gerade anderweitig beschäftigt, was unfassbar peinlich geworden wäre. Sowas darf echt nicht passieren!!

The location is very good! The rooms are OK but not something high level as the Hilton brand suggests. Other hotels in the area have better rooms. The most frustrating things are 1. the service of the people working there as they were slow, unprepared and the mixed up the booking types. The manager had to step in. 2. the decoration, style and facilities of Hilton Cologne are stuck in the 1960s. Not impressive or luxurius at all. There are 3 and 4 star hotels in the are with far better facilities. That is a shame for a brand like Hilton really.
