close to train station. however I did have a bit of difficulty finding a path to the hotel from the station. Google maps was showing me different directions - the problem is that the station is parallel to the dom and to get to the road level, you have to do down and not up the stairs to the dom. I did not use the facilities or the food. I did appreciate that they had water in the room and fruits at the reception area. They also had left luggage at no charge.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city. It is very convenient to both get from the station and walk through many sights that are in step-by-step access. The room is small but there is everything necessary. Comfortable bed and pillow, sleeping wonderful! There is a refrigerator, waifei works perfectly. On the first floor there is a restaurant where breakfast is held. You can also leave your luggage if you wait before your departure and you want to walk on a light. Staff is very responsive! The most adequate price in the area.

The location of the hotel is super good. You can reach the core attractions of Cologne Cathedral, museum, Main River, commercial street, railway station, food court and so on a few hundred meters away. The hotel reception staff was very warm and caring, and helped to change the big room with extra bed, an extra 25 Euro per day. Great stay experience.

Location was superb. Walking distance to train station, cathedral, shopping area… you name it. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was good. Pillow was a bit strange - just a flat square but room was comfortable. Little to no noise from the outside. Bathroom small but adequate. Was quite difficult to control water temperature but once you figure it out you’re all set. Overall a very good stay, would book a room here again

Front desk could be a little more friendly. Bathroom very small and need to take shower in very small bath not nice would prefer a normal shower. It is so small I dont know how a german can fit into the bath / shower???all the rest was good and the breakfast is very good buffet.

Great central location and very helpful staff! We were able to walk to all of the major sites.

Nothing but praises for this hotel. Extremely close to the train station & the Cologne Cathedral. Hotel staff are friendly, rooms are functional & clean, toilets are great, plenty of TV channels to choose from! There is parking on site (although chargeable), just round the back & head up the car lift. It is very secure parking for cars. Stone’s throw away to the old town & eateries (open till late). Highly recommend the Fruh bar / eatery, great beer & food there!

Simple hotel adjacent to main shopping area, 1 min walk from metro transport. 10 min walk from The Dome and Hauptbanhoff and the main tourist attractions. No frills, basic, simple, clean room, with basic toiletries provided, a lift available until 10pm (see notes) decent continental buffet breakfast, luggage storage available. Friendly helpful staff. Notes: Check in closes at 10pm, with no night staff so get there before 10pm, access after this time is by key card only and lift only available from 1st floor.. Hotel is on quiet streets and overlooking a square so some general noise from drinkers in the early evening and busy at lunchtime. Signage for hotel is minimal, it's a quirky building surrounded by private housing, so look out on the glass doors for the turquoise Centro logo, if you find the ”night entrance door” walk round the corner to get to the main entrance again only denoted by a discrete sign on the door. Bring a travel kettle and mug if you want a decent cup of tea, the breakfast hot water/coffee maker was broken during my visit! (And they're not provided in rooms). Room served me well for 3 nights. Great location for seeing Cologne.

The hotel is also a little far away from the Cologne Train Station. We took the subway to the hotel in about 6 minutes. The hotel is far from other attractions, and we will also choose to take the tram. Overall, the hotel is relatively clean, but it is a bit far from the train station and attractions and requires transportation.

Excellent location, only about 200 metres away from Cologne cathedral - this made it very practical when arriving at the main train station. The hotel itself is clean but has dark corridors and could do with renovation / modernisation. My room was large and comfortable but the furnishings were basic and the WiFI connection wasn't working at all
