Hotels near Gloria, Cologne

Front desk could be a little more friendly. Bathroom very small and need to take shower in very small bath not nice would prefer a normal shower. It is so small I dont know how a german can fit into the bath / shower???all the rest was good and the breakfast is very good buffet.

Affordable price, friendly service, good location There are restaurants and shops nearby, and supermarkets and department stores are not too far away. Hygien, room, bed, quietness everything was great except that I got this problem with the receptionists. So I did explain to all the receptionist (that I saw-because I understand they work in shifts) that I lost 2 luggages due to the airline's mistake and airline will send them to this hostel where I would be staying (for 1 night only). I explained that if someone sent luggages here, please tell me asap because I needed to catch a train to Amsterdam the nextday noon. Imagine 35kg of personal belongs just dissapeared, I didnt have toothbrush, clean clothings.... I reminded them everything 3-4 hours when I saw a receptionist. After almost 27 hours of waiting in worry (which made me cannot enjoy the city), I talked to one receptionist to please check 1 more time becauze the airlines mailed me that they did send to the hostel at 4:30pm in the day I checked-in hostel, (only 4-5 hours after my flight time), she let me go it the luggage room and my luggages were there the whole time! So I waited in pain for 22 hours for nothing. I think it would be a bit obvious when 1 guy in delivery company uniform went in with 2 luggages and said ”this is from one of your customer.” But the receptionist just forgot it quickly and didnt tell me. I had to change a lot of my plan and I was feeling terible and stressful with the waiting and fear of lost luggages. Beside that, the condition of rooms, facilities, warm water, sound proof windows were great.

The room is amazing, the location is even better. Its iust 2 mins walk from the bus or metro. The receptionist is very welcome and is great that we are able to check in early as well. The room is filled with full facility and very cozy

The room is small, the bed is almost 0.9 meters wide, not equipped with toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers. Check-in starts at 15:00 pm and check-out before 10:00 am. The key card can be placed directly in the box at the front desk. Luggage can be stored for free. There is an elevator available upstairs. My room towels and bath towels have not been finished. I heard the church bells clearly.

This Hotel is in the city center. It is very convenient and close to Koln Dom and train station. A lot of super markets and stores around as well as resturants. Fantastic experiences.

Great central location and very helpful staff! We were able to walk to all of the major sites.

close to train station. however I did have a bit of difficulty finding a path to the hotel from the station. Google maps was showing me different directions - the problem is that the station is parallel to the dom and to get to the road level, you have to do down and not up the stairs to the dom. I did not use the facilities or the food. I did appreciate that they had water in the room and fruits at the reception area. They also had left luggage at no charge.

Nothing but praises for this hotel. Extremely close to the train station & the Cologne Cathedral. Hotel staff are friendly, rooms are functional & clean, toilets are great, plenty of TV channels to choose from! There is parking on site (although chargeable), just round the back & head up the car lift. It is very secure parking for cars. Stone’s throw away to the old town & eateries (open till late). Highly recommend the Fruh bar / eatery, great beer & food there!

The location of the hotel is super good. You can reach the core attractions of Cologne Cathedral, museum, Main River, commercial street, railway station, food court and so on a few hundred meters away. The hotel reception staff was very warm and caring, and helped to change the big room with extra bed, an extra 25 Euro per day. Great stay experience.
