The people at the front desk are bright, friendly and very nice. The road from the station to the hotel is a little thrilling at night, but I don't think the security is bad.
The stay was very pleasant.

This hotel shares a check in desk with Howard Johnson’s and don’t try to check in before 3:00pm. Our room was clean but the pillows might have been stuffed with toilet paper rolls they were so lumpy. There is a lot of debris floating in the pool that is also shared with HJ so you have to cross a parking lot to use it. There is supposed to be a complimentary breakfast but when we asked about it we were told it was take out and we were grudgingly handed a bag with a fruit cup, granola bar, danish, and a soggy bean burrito. They could definitely do better.

Hotel was great, reasonable central location to big sightseeing areas. Fitness centre was ok.
But the biggest downfall here for this hotel was the thin walls. We could hear voices/TVs at all hours (particularly mornings as lots of people were heading out early for tours). Could be just a joint room problem? Otherwise a very nice stay.

Used for a 1 day trip to see some snow before season ends. The location was in a great location, near shopping and restaurants.
We stayed in the king suite for three of us and a dog. Room was clean and cozy. The room had a nice modern touch.
The staff was accommodating as we needed a late check out. They obliged with no hesitation.
Over all a nice place to rest our heads.
From the sincere service of our staff to the comfort of our guest rooms, hospitality is in our nature. It’s in the live-edge Canadian maple furnishings and Irish wool carpets. It’s in the always made-from-scratch meals served fresh. But it’s also in the connections that are formed in meetings or over family dinner; and the connections we facilitate with our surrounding natural wonders. Whether with the dark skies above, the Ponderosa Pines all around, or the Grand Canyon just down the road.

I am catching up with the nearby university graduation ceremony. The room is super expensive. Even the surrounding car hotels have risen to 1,300. Decisively chose Xiaomei. The best hotel in flagstaff, the environment is superb and the decoration is very good. I will choose again later.

GGuest UserNice location, starts kind of in the middle of the trail along the Canyon. We went in one direction the day we arrived and the opposite the following morning. No pictures can describe the magnitude and depth of this area. What I didn’t see anyone mentioned and came as a surprise is that admission to the National Park is $35 per car for 1-7 days. Also that because of the elevation it’s quite chilly even though it’s sunny. The view is truly grand! The deli at the market offers variety of hot sandwiches, a cup of soup with a juicy chipotle chicken sandwich was a great way to finish the evening.
HHUIFENThere is a parking lot, no shuttle bus, although the room rate does not include breakfast, but there is still a simple breakfast, the service is quite worthy of this price. Not bad, I will book this again next time.
WWim VerverStrange that you have to check in again on the 2nd day of your stay to be able to open your room door. Furthermore, it is a great location a stone's throw from the rim, with many facilities, helpful staff, and accommodation that is completely in style.
7762darricksWe Had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were very clean, large and comfortable beds. Shopping and restaurants are less than 5 mins away. And the lake is 15 mins away. No traffic noise. I recommend this place.
GGuest UserWe have service dogs. Upon checking in, the owner of the hotel and who also owns Country Inn and Rodeway Inn in Page, Az, his name is Deepak, asked us why we have service dogs and what disease we have to have service dogs. We’re too tired to argue with him after driving for 9 hours from Los Angeles. We showed him the service dog IDs and told him the disease we have. The owner, Deepak, even told us that it is illegal to ask what disease we have but he still wants to know since he’s the owner and he claimed that people lie. We were placed on the ground floor because of the service dogs when our room that we booked through booking.com has a mountaintop view and balcony. Our room didn’t have a balcony or mountain view, it was facing the parking lot. We booked for a deluxe king suite. Also, one of the sinks was clogged up. We could not wait for the handyman to do the repair since we have to rush out to our scheduled tour. The breakfast was TERRIBLE. There were no juices, cereal and milk available as advertised. The frozen breakfast sandwich was awful. The muffin was ok. When we asked for breakfast, the girl at the front desk said they didn’t have any. When I insisted to check the back room, she came back with a box full of sandwiches and muffins. I asked her why do you to have to lie and her response was do not give me a bad day. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. We feel we were defrauded. Very bad customer service. We complained to Booking.com but they did not document our complaint accurately. We’re really disappointed with both the hotel and booking.com.
GGuest UserFirst, the positive:
1. The staff was courteous, professional, and helpful.
2. The outdoor area was well above par. The pool was clean with in-pool loungers (4). Safety equipment and signage posted. Multiple cabanas (6?) were available. Large fire pit with plentiful seating. The pool is 5 feet deep at the center. This is not a pool made for swimming laps, but for lounging.
3. Rooms have an outdoor balcony with a table and 2 chairs.
4. Windows have both a blackout screen and a privacy screen. The window is able to be opened for fresh air and is screened.
5. HVAC was in good order and worked perfectly.
6. In room refrigerator was clean and worked well. Microwave, TV, and phone in room.
7. Breakfast area was spacious and breakfast offered multiple options though I did not avail myself of this amenity.
Now, the negative:
1. The room itself was much smaller (king bed ) than expected. Room was cramped and looked nothing like the pictures on the website.
2. The bathrooms were recently remodeled, but the aesthetics are problematic. Why would anyone put wood laminate flooring in a bathroom with a walk in shower that has approximately a 2” inch lip and shower curtain in lieu of doors? You take a shower and the floor gets wet...no bueno.
3. There is a $10 per night service fee charged on registration. The fee is for wifi and other services. I don't recall seeing this posted when I reserved the room, but perhaps I overlooked it. I didn't object paying it, but the fee should be transparent.
4. Housekeeping is performed every 3 days and if you need more towels, etc., simply contact the front desk and they will have what you need brought up.
Other: I booked the room for 2 nights but opted not to stay the 2nd night.
WWong452The front desk was very friendly and considerate so that I don’t have to get out of the hotel to get my car details for registration in a freezing night when checking in. Coffee was provided in the room as well as at the lobby in the morning.
Bed was comfortable, TV channels were ok. Bath towel a bit worn out but that is fine for me. Basic amenities in the room which is fine as well for one night stay.
I like the location that I could get a quick bite easily and just off the freeway. About an hour drive from Grand Canyon after the sunset which was not too far. I enjoyed the night there. :)
JJoshiStayed here during my trip to the grand canyon since it was one of the most economic options in the area. The room that I was initially given had a faulty TV, a fridge that leaked, broken AC, and shower faucets that were loose and was difficult to turn on. Once we got it turned on, we had to call in a staff member to help us turn it off. Thankfully the staff was understanding and switched us to a new room that was MUCH better. We were only there for a night, and it was largely comfortable.
Besides the initial shock of so many faulty equipment in that one room, everything else was fine.
GGuest UserGrowing up in Arizona I have passed by this place numerous times over the decades but had never stayed here before. My wife and I are on post retirement a roadtrip and picked this place because of it's close proximity to the downtown area. First, the place is old and worn and not well kept. The rooms are small and cramped and the furniture is decrepit. The comforter on the bed was old and worn out and had cigarette burn holes in it. My wife had lost something on our trip and called back to the hotel to see if it might have been left behind in the room and found the staff very unhelpful. Distinctly and remarkably so. When she called she was told that they were too busy and that she should call back later. When she did she had to REPEATEDLY tell them when we were there, the room number and what we were looking for. After repeated attempts over several minutes she became disconnected in the call and decided it wasn't worth the effort to try again. The place is a dump. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
