The bar wasn't well stocked, didn't have our first choice of drinks, then when asked to have drinks in plastic cups so we could go back to the spa area, we were told no plastic cups so had to source the last 4 from the spa area which meant no one was then able to drink any water from the water jugs in the spa area. The receptionist at the Spa gave great customer service by going out of her way to find the very last remaining plastic cups in the whole of the hotel. Food was delicious for dinner, Breakfast we felt rushed as there was a wedding party and not enough tables to sit spa guests and wedding guests all at once.

On arrival, the hotel sort of looks very grand but as you walk in you’re back in the 80s. I’m guessing the hotel hasn’t been decorated since then, it’s very outdated and could do with some refurbishment. The reception staff were very nice and check in was easy. The room itself was again, very outdated but I can’t fault the cleanliness it was pretty much spotless and the beds were very comfy. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room too which is always an added bonus. I did have an issue with the TV not working on the first night and reception did move our room for us, but it probably would have been easier just to swap the tv? Nonetheless, we were grateful for him solving the issue so quickly. The welcome booklet in the room is really (I mean REALLY) detailed, down to describing the carpets in the corridors. I think if the bar didn’t charge £7 for a bottle of kopparberg, the bar area would have a few more guests in having drinks. The lake view was nice from the bar but again not worth sitting out there for the price of the drinks. We didn’t eat anything so can’t comment on the quality of food but the menu looked quite expensive. All in all I’d stay again as it’s close to the venue we visit but it seriously needs an update if there are to be more than four guests staying at once across the hotel.

Great rooms - more space than I was expecting and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was very clean and I was able to make a small meal and relax in the evening before retiring. The bed was in a seperate and quite small room - which I liked - less like sleeping in a cavern. The bed was very comfortable and best of all there was an effective but NOT noisey air con system.

The hotel was conveniently situated for a family funeral. It was clean and comfortable. It’s a very busy noisy hotel especial in the Bar/Grill. My brother and his wife also staying , we’re woke up at a rediculous hour by a very load spin class

Excellent hotel in a convenient location to attend my business conferences. I booked a twin room for the evening, and front desk service was prompt and efficient making for a smooth check in prices. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room and facilities. Though I was short one towel upon arrival, staff were extremely polite and courteous in resolving my issue. Would highly recommend.

This amazing little Hotel in Wokingham is a perfect location for a stay over or a day of conference/ business meetings, public transport is easily accessible from all main train and bus lines. With access to a Bar, Private Garden, 9 bedrooms and a dining hall that offers a great conference space, it had everything we needed. The staff and management were really friendly and were on hand and supported all of our requests. The catering was an added bonus, lunch was perfect catering for allergies and specific needs, coffee and pastries available on arrival really set us up for a day of creativity. Thank you Dial house we will be back soon !

Farnborough is an odd place in that we never found if there was a shopping area! The Falcon hotel is near the [private] airport but is not affected by it to any degree. The hotel has had mixed reviews and there is much to commend it. The staff and reception are friendly and the rooms and general surroundings are spotlessly clean. Of course the individual arrangements will influence any review; some rooms might be better and some worse. We had what is described as a superior room and it is difficult to identify any features to deserve that. The room had a large bed, wardrobe, bedside tables and a small desk. It was crowded and cramped. There was one chair [not an armchair] so nowhere comfortable to sit to watch TV. The bed was comfortable if a little low for me with a duvet [which had been tucked in, why?]. My main beef about the bedroom is that the curtains did not black out the light so the room was light by about 400am. Why do hotels not realise how essential this is for comfort. The bathroom was OK except that the door would not stay closed. The toilet was cramped and the seat was loose [needs a special fitting] and the shower which is over the bath was difficult to use as the taps took only a quarter turn from ”off” to ”full on”. There is a safely handle to aid getting in and out which is vital. Breakfast is served in a spacious and spotless restaurant with fresh linen table cloths. The diner fills in a small sheet with choices which was fine. The price is reasonable - about £85 for a double with breakfast.

Great customer service from the moment you walk through the door. A very smart and comfortable hotel and extremely good value too. Included breakfast was very good and bar food is of good quality too. If you think you will be disturbed by jet noise, think again. The soundproofing is excellent and there is a curfew at night. I would thoroughly recommend and we will be staying there again.
