The trip to Qiandao Lake was a spontaneous one without any plan. We decided to stay at Kaiyuan Resort in the evening of that day. The beautiful lady at the front desk was very nice and helped us upgrade the room. The housekeeper Yaya helped us deliver our luggage to the room and introduced the details of the hotel along the way. She was very thoughtful and gave us a small gift for check-in. When we entered the room, we were surprised by the bed arrangement and welcome card of the housekeeper Tong. Because of the rush of the trip, the family forgot to bring the razor. When Tong sent it, she specially took care of our safe use. We went to the Chinese restaurant for dinner. The fish head soup was very delicious. The waiter Huanhuan was very thoughtful. In short, although it was a temporary stay, the experience was very good and full of details. She also prepared souvenirs for check-out. Kaiyuan will be my first choice for the next trip

I loved the lake view from my room, and highly recommend higher floors. The bathtub with the open view was also amazing,the beds were soft and sleek. However,I would not rate this hotel as 5 stars; the decor is quite old with its dark colours, a bit worn out wallpapers and quite old carpets in the corridor. It was very noisy with lots of families and their kids. Buliding 1 has two lifts only and you end up waiting and being squashed in a lift all the time. Coming down to breakfast restaurant was about strange as the lift takes you to the basement parking so one needs to go past the cars unless you want to walk outside the building.The breakfast was buzzing with too many people impatient to que politely. Most importantly, I really feel the front desk service needs a lot of improvement; I understand that nobody speaks English, we can use translators,but noone welcomed me properly and wished me a nice stay: my Alipay and passport only mattered. I was lucky with Xio Qian ( front desk boy) who offered to help and share the information about amenities and trips around the lake. I am very grateful to him. The gym in building 5 was a disappointment; One swimming pool is to be shared between 4 other buildings. Because it rained, the water was quite cold in the pool. Overall,this hotel would suit families and kids mainly,but i would not recommend it to single expats and certainly would not rate it as a 5 star hotel.

I strongly recommend you experience a stay at Hilton Hangzhou Qiandaohu. It was one of the most comfortable stays ever. Maksim, one of the hotel employees, helped us from the start to the end. As a Korean, traveling in China is extremely difficult because of the language barrier. Although, I speak English, most of the Chinese do not. But, Maksim was able to speak 4 languages fluently; Korean, English, Russian and Chinese. He was happy to answer any questions regardless of time. So, if you are a foreigner considering a visit to Qiandaohu, Hilton is the place, and find Maksim when you do so. The hotel upgraded my room when I got there and prepared a nice welcoming fruit in the room. The hotel has a lot of fun activities, and nice restaurants. My girlfriend and I had an unforgettable memories here.

We had an unforgettable experience at Bright Resort in Qindaohu. Everything was absolutely perfect. Spectacular views, amazing villa, delicious food and very kind staff. We enjoyed walking in the nature, the fresh air and the amazing views. We spotted big fish, eagles and aquatic birds. The breakfast and the food at the Chinese restaurant were delicious. Totally recommended for families, couples and singles.

Our time at the Sheraton Qiandao Lake was excellent. The staff went out of their way to help us and make our trip and stay smooth. Sauron was especially helpful and was only a text message away. We would really recommend the hotel. The hot springs were lovely and warm! The only slight inconvenience is its slightly further away from everything and you need to Didi for everything as non Chinese citizens can't use the ebikes or bikes as a foreigner.

Super big room with nice view! Super awesome coming at low peak season. Only item is probably the lights are turn on slightly late. We saw a few ppl riding in the dark. Quite dangerous since cars are travelling in low lights. Feedback to staff and they mention they will bring this to the in charge to adjust the light timing

The hotel is in a great location with convenient facilities around. There is a shuttle bus to the high-speed rail station, which is very convenient even if you don't drive. The view from the room is beautiful. The housekeeper Xiao Fang is very warm and thoughtful, and answers all questions. The recommended cycling route is very beautiful

1. Wrong room allocation, no balcony, it took us more than half hour to clarify 2. Refridgerator did not work, they tried to repair but it still did not work, brought a new fridge in the next morning, we put our drinks in and went out, in the evening our drinks had been hot, the fridge was heating instead of cooling, they again changed the fridge. 3. They made the bed every day and ecchanged the towels, but did clean the glasses, coffee cups and the table. 4. A lot of Chinese TV channels, one russian, arabic, french and spanish each, but no english TV channel.

This hotel is located next to Fish Street, which is very convenient for eating. The laundry area on the fifth floor has a very good view. Because we live on the first floor, the balcony is very large. The breakfast is also good. There is a welcome fruit plate on the first day. The resort is very relaxing as it faces the lake, and one can see sunset here. In particular, there’s tasteful music at various (outdoor) locations within the hotel premises. It makes for a great staycation, and it’s not too far from attractions such as Tian Yu Mountain. Service is great, and the breakfast selection caters to all diet, including vegan. We could feel the sincerity of service staff but my only gripe would probably be the shower temperature that sometimes run cold after awhile.
