Jiefangbei Jiayu Hotel, Chongqing

Overall, the hotel is fine, but keep in mind it shares the entrance with three other hotels, so the guest mix is quite varied. Housekeeping on the 23rd floor was wonderful, and most of the front desk staff were polite and helpful. However, during check-in on the evening of 9/19, we were assisted by one of two young ladies who were at the front desk seemed confused about our booking and did not provide our breakfast vouchers. Bottom line: if you’re expecting a true 4-star hotel, this property doesn’t quite measure up in terms of facilities, atmosphere, and overall experience. If you do choose to stay here, I’d recommend booking through Chinese apps rather than English-language sites, as the latter tend to charge much more for the same room.

Overall good love the service. Love the location and all the excitement the place can offer.

Hotel located in a building with several different hotels. Lift always crowded with hotel guests and food delivery . The lifts even used for garbage trolly transportation and full of bad smell. Shower door badly installed and water keep on leaking to toilet floor and slippery.The hotel had no intention to improve this but just stamped a statement to advice to close door for shower. ***. Who will not close door for shower.... Will not stay this so called hotel again....

No aircond for 2 nights stay, claiming that the aircond is servicing
