Chongqing Yunxi B&B (Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street Hongya Cave Branch)

The location is very strategic — the apartment building is just below Bayi Road. Cars can’t access the entrance directly, so you’ll need to walk about 100 meters from the nearby intersection. It’s a short and easy walk. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy living area that made it feel like home. The host was incredibly kind and helpful. He met us at the intersection and helped carry our luggage to the apartment. Really appreciated his hospitality!

The apartment is located in a centralised location, very convenient for transport and shopping. The interior of the apartment block is pretty run down probabably due to its age but the interior of the apartment itself is clean and well renovated. We had a slight problem with the water heater. Started with it not working at first and then after repaired found that the hot water flow was not consistent. We then realised that the cause was because the water heater is the instant multi-point type and coupled with the low incoming water pressure. Once the probable cause is known we could worked around it, like not using the washing machine when someone is showering. Overall it is quite a pleasant stay.
