Chicago Hotels with Bars

Next to the beautiful Lake Michigan, the open window is Chicago's famous Marina City, also known as the Corn Building, opposite the Trump Tower, not far from the gorgeous mile, the location is very good! The hotel is very clean and the service is good! Recommended!

The location is great. The cleanliness of our room was fantastic. I asked for a luggage cart to be at the room at x and the front desk said I needed to call for the cart. Really? It took over 15 minutes for a bellhop to arrive at 6:45 in the morning. There is an additional $25 a day charge that is not disclosed at booking. The coffee costs more than Starbucks...? We bypassed getting our room cleaned for two days. On the 3rd it was never addressed. Staff said ... oops. It used to be THE hotel to stay at in Chicago. The last two nights teenagers were running around unsupervised and making noise until security was called. Probably not going back, so sad.

Location is nice and there’s NASCAR so it’s a bit noisy. Great view from my room as I hear the cars and saw them passby from my room.

We stayed for a night, upgraded to a lakefront room. Great location, great rooms. The only issue I had was the AC was not working that well. We didn’t even use the sheets or our blanket we got so hot. Also the bar is a little over expensive. Other then that great stay! I’d stay again but bring a fan and our own bottle next time :)

We got lucky and got an okay room with no significant health violations. The facilities are very dated but we expected that by reading the reviews. One alarming factor was that the locks did not work at all. The check-in was okay, but the receptionist was not very communicative.

A historic hotel with accessible prices if you get a discounted offer. It’s a shame they don’t offer breakfast but the location makes up for it, right on the magnificent mile. Our room was confortable but the A/C unit was too noisy.

There was a fee of 93$ plus insurance or something I don't know, another 100$. The employee said it would be refunded. 100$ given on check out day Asked for a receipt and was told to give a check-out date. On the check-out day, they said they would transfer 100$ to the card we used to swipe, which is SCB's planet card. It would take another month for the money to be credited to the card. Feeling worried about whether the money will really come in?

Hotel Saint Clair is a wonderful place to stay. I have now stayed there at least five times in the last six months. Every time I have gone, the accommodations were excellent, staff was very friendly and amenities are awesome. Extra bonus points for the great workout room! This hotel is so close to the magnificent mile and so much shopping! Also, there are a lot of food choices everywhere! I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. When I stay in Chicago, I make it a point to book this hotel.

The Whitehall is a favorite of ours due to location and friendliness. In recent visits it is becoming tired. The rooms are a bit ragged. The bathrooms need updating badly. Barely sufficient soap and shampoo for more than one shower. Sorry but that is where we come down.
