The room is very spacious, easy to check in and accommodating staff. Breakfast is good also, recommended for travelers going to Alishan early in the morning cause the bus stop is just across the hotel. 👍👍👍

Really rather dated and tired. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dining options are ok but not spectacular. Musky smells in the room due to its age. Staff doing their best with what they have. it doesn’t help that the building behind is a derelict site. Pretty good location.

However, the air-conditioner couldn’t be switched off and was a bit noisy, which might be inconvenient for light sleepers. The breakfast buffet was good but very busy, primarily catering to local guests, which can feel a bit overwhelming during peak times. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor drawbacks

The location is very convenient! It is very convenient to go to the train station, famous shops, and night markets! It is within walking distance! The hotel provides free bicycles! Also, if you arrive early, you can store your luggage! The hotel also provides a piano! Free breakfast! Although the hotel looks old inside, the room is very spacious! There is also a big bathtub 🛁! Family Mart is opposite the hotel, which is very convenient!I like hotel Free breakfast , very local style .

It's a great bang for the buck place. It is very close to all the touristy places in Chiayi. Free parking in an open space parking lot about 300 meters away on the same street as the hotel. So be aware that you must walk with your luggage back to the hotel after parking. Unless you have another person wait at the hotel first with your luggage.
The staff at check-in told me if I gave a positive Google review they'd give me an upgrade to my room and I did give them a positive Google review before even seeing what the room looked like. But I was very pleased with the room upon seeing it. The whole place was clean and spacious and the window in my room was big. Free breakfast with my booking as well. I like this place for the price and I will book again if have the chance.
Breakfast was great. Buffet style with lots of options but don't expect it to be a feast as it's a breakfast.

魅魅力幻影Located next to the Wenhua night market, and provided all the amenities required for a normal traveller, and the check-in was smooth. The breakfast buffet provided variety of food to fuel up for the day, especially providing great options of vegetarian dishes.
Bath salt was also the highlight, giving a moment of relaxation.
However, the bath is quite small and only fits for 1 person (not even a tall one), so it was not easy for getting my partner to enjoy it together. And the wash basin looked heavily used like gonna be breaking very soon.

AAnonymous UserAround 500 m from the TRA Chiayi front exit, the staff are friendly and kind. The room is big enough for two people and their luggage. The lobby smells good; there is a small café in the lobby.
The bathroom is a separate wet and dry area. A hairdryer is in the room, and the toilet is an automatic bidet.
The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are soft for sleeping well.
We were able to leave our luggage after checking out because of my Alishan itinerary.

Ddisplay_name_We had a great stay at the hotel! The facilities were fantastic, with a fun foosball table, PlayStation, and an awesome breakfast and supper. The gatchapon and board game room were a unique touch that really added to the experience. The room itself was very comfortable, and I especially liked the AI assistant for added convenience.
The only downside was the location—it was a bit far from key attractions. While there was a bus stop nearby, we couldn't catch the bus due to a detour from ongoing construction or something. Despite this, it didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. Highly recommend this place for a fun, comfortable stay!

胡胡羅建文Traveling alone, this is my second time staying at Chiayi Guanzhi. Should I ask why? Actually, I came here for the hotel breakfast buffet. I bought a double room, which came with two breakfasts. Unlike other hotels, I traveled alone and changed the number of breakfasts to one person (I paid for two people and got two meals included, and they still changed it). As usual, I have insomnia, so since I couldn't sleep, I simply went to have breakfast at 07:00, ate a little and then went upstairs to take a bath, and came down to eat again at 09:30, and I wouldn't be rejected. And why did I come here for the hotel breakfast? First of all, it’s not that the ingredients are so high-end, but the sisters and aunts in the freshly cooked area at the Gu Dan Zai Noodles and the omelette counter are very kind and enthusiastic, and will give you warmth all day long, really! For this warmth, do you think I will stay at Guanzhi again next time I go to Chiayi? I said I would.

IIvy_OhStayed for 2 nights and everything seems ok except the wifi is poor. There is a laundry room on the 8th floor with 2 washers and 2 dryers. You can get free detergent from the lobby but both the washer and dryer need to pay : NT50 for the washer and NT50 for the dryer. Breakfast was ok.

GGuest UserI had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from Chiayi Train Station, with 小北百貨 and a 7-11 nearby. The staff were friendly and attentive—they kindly allowed us to store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which made our trip much easier. They also went out of their way to prepare extra pillows when we requested them, and had them ready by the time we returned from dinner.
The buffet breakfast offered a variety of western and ********* options. While the food was decent, it was filling enough to start our day. The hotel is also within a 15-minute walk to the night market, making it easy to explore local food and shops.
My family and I stayed here both before and after our trip to Mt. Ali, and we even extended our stay due to a typhoon. We felt well-rested and enjoyed our time. When double beds weren’t available, the staff combined two single beds, creating a spacious and comfortable sleeping arrangement. We truly appreciated this thoughtful touch. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for its convenience, warm service, and comfortable accommodations!
