The facility was large but not busy. Not sure if this has any to do with my poor experience but the air conditioning was not individually controlled despite having a thermostat. The front desk said it was controlled by the hotel not individual room. They offered a fan. The room was always 78F degrees or about 26C degrees. The 2nd night, the room smelled weird. Asked for an air purifier. They didn’t have it, so they offered me a moldy humidifier instead. I asked for more bath towels and they gave me 2 floor mat towels. Finally, the water pressure is incredibly strong. To a point where the shower water actually stung and the plastic curtain kept flying on to me. The overall, not what I expected out of a 4 star hotel.

Stayed one night in this hotel. The bed and pillows are very comfy. The room is clean as expected. Will come back again.

The Grand Plaza is a nice place to stay. Rooms are large and very clean. Great water pressure! Staff is polite and very attentive. In house breakfast has a great variety of both Asian and Western foods. Hotel restaurants are good, but not very busy due to the overabundance of local restaurants that surround the hotel, most of which have menus with English on them. You can get a great Korean mean for less than $10 within a block of the Grand Plaza in any direction.

I used the car for business trips. It was good that there was a gym. They said they give you gym clothes. If I had known, I wouldn't have brought gym clothes.. I will use it again next time

Overall, I was satisfied! The room was clean and spacious. However, the breakfast variety was a bit lacking, and the fitness center closing time was earlier than expected, which was disappointing. There's also a Homeplus in the basement, which is nice. I want to come again!

The room was hot, so I woke up. I know it is the only special hotel in Cheongju, and it is very good. Some of the facilities were under construction, so it was difficult to use the gym and swimming pool, but it was okay. The rooms are large and there are many restaurants nearby, so I had a very comfortable stay. The bed is soft and very good.
