Angsana Hotels in Chengdu

Stayed 2 nights in the Dorsett Twin Room (Movies + Digital Projection). For some reason my room does not have the Digital Projection.... just a 42” Android TV. We did not take the breakfast option as there are many cheap food options beside the hotel. The BEST feature of Dorsett Chengdu is the excellent location which is just beside the Luomashi subway (Line 4), one stop away to Tianfu Square (for shopping) and KuanZhaiXiangZi Alleys. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We asked for direction for the wholesale centre and staff (Steven) recommended 荷花池批发市场. Highly recommended!

Location, location, location! Only take 2 minutes walking from Chunxi Road MRT - Exit E1 and IFS/Taikoo Li, also easily access to other attractions by mrt. There are many local restaurants, hotpot and shops nearby. The staff is friendly and working 24/7 which help us check-in at 3AM, though they dont tallk english but can communicate through translate app. The room is clean, hot water is good. The breakfast is simple. We definitely book again the hotel when come back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Chengdu, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and professional service. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was promptly shown to my room. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and offered all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring Chengdu. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a great shower that had strong water pressure—a small detail that makes a big difference. One of the standout features of Crowne Plaza Chengdu is its excellent location. It’s situated right in the heart of the city, making it easy to access popular attractions, shopping centers, and restaurants. This convenience made my stay even more enjoyable, as I could easily walk or take a short ride to wherever I needed to go. The hotel's dining options were also impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, ensuring that there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was high, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries and local specialties. The facilities at Crowne Plaza Chengdu are top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the indoor pool was a great place to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the business center, which made it easy to catch up on work when needed. While the hotel is slightly older, it is well-maintained, and the charm of the classic design adds to the overall experience. In summary, Crowne Plaza Chengdu exceeded my expectations in terms of service, comfort, and convenience. It’s a great choice for both business and leisure travelers, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.

The hotel service is perfect. I really love their flexibility service. At first, I booked for 1 day, then when I decided to travel to Jiu Zhai Gou in a day trip, Then I booked for another 4 D 3 N, Since I have booked the room with breakfast, they gave us the breakfast pack when we need to go out early in the morning. The breakfast were rich, a variety of choices including the desserts. The hotel location is strategic, very near to the famous Chun Xi Street and Chun MRT station .One thing I appreciate the most was the staff in the receptionist counter help me to call the Sichuan Airline helpdesk so that I can get the verification and redeem the free bus ticket from Chun Xi Street to Tian Fu International Airport. Thumbs up to the hotel 5 star service. The only downside is I didn't get the gift from the hotel during checkout. I read the reviews which mentioned when the customer check out will get the free gift but I didn't get it. Haha, if they send me the free gitt，then i will say that this is perfect stay!

We stayed 4 nights here and mostly enjoyed the experience. The location was good and easy to get to most attractions. The beds were comfortable – not too hard and not too soft. The pillows were also a good firmness and not too thin as many Chinese pillows are. Trip.com’s diamond system is a bit misleading. Trip.com rates this as a 4 diamond hotel but it’s more like a 3 star hotel. The positives: free washing machine use. Delicious buffet breakfast. No noise coming from adjacent neighbours. Good service. The negatives: the carpet was dirty. One of our rooms smelt of mildew so we requested a new room which did not smell. There was a fair bit of noise from the street outside coming in from the windows in our room - such as cars honking, loud jingles playing from shops, people shouting etc, but it pretty much stopped by midnight. One of our rooms also was next to the elevator which was noisy and we asked to be moved which they accomodate.

Location - very convenience. Beside of the mall. Starbuck, foods and convenience store nearby. Staff are nice and also thanks to Lisa for the arrangement that I requested. Room are big and well maintain. Having a washing machine & dryer is a plus! They have robot to delivery your food delivery. Will choose this place again when I come back to Chengdu.

JW Marriott Chengdu hotel has exceeded our expectations. The Executive Club Lounge was a relaxing, welcoming space with polite and hard-working staff. We found the hotel’s central location ideal for exploring Chengdu. We ordered room service on the first night. The Dan Dan noodles with minced pork and vegetables, as well as the fried rice were exceptional. We love the overall service persons especially the concierge staff who helped us booked for taxis quickly and took care of the directions. Highly recommended for any foreign visitors

The hotel is close to Wenshu Monastery Metro station (Line 1, 5-10min walk) and a good starting point for travelling in all directions. The staff at the reception was nice and they tried their best to explain everything to us in English (translating tools are very helpful/needed here in general!). Although the hotel has a non-smoking policy (signs are up everywhere), nobody really cares and the lobby as well as the room had a cigarette smell. Nevertheless, the hotel and the room was very clean, although the glorious times of the Celebrity are over. It is a bit old and could need some renovation during which they could also install a noise protection that cancels the sound from your neighbors (we had someone next to us snoring all night and we could perfectly hear it). However, the breakfast compensated for a lot. The selection of mostly Chinese dishes was amazing. Overall, the hotel has a fair cost/performance ratio and we can recommend it.

Was excellent from start to end. Everything was perfect, now you can call that a 5 stars hotel ! The client service was top tier, thanks to everyone, Damon and Rachel who were so kind, professional and efficient. This one was by far the best comparing to all the hotels that I have stayed at. ( around the world) experience was so good that I extended my stay. Definitely recommend it.
