For my trip to Chengde, I chose the highest-rated Hilton Garden Inn in the area. Aside from the facilities showing a bit of age, especially the carpet in the guest rooms, everything else was excellent. The location is relatively quiet, situated between Chengde South Station and the scenic spots. Breakfast was plentiful, with fresh ingredients and just the right taste. The service was also superb; both the front desk staff and restaurant staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. It's definitely worth praising and recommending, and I hope they continue to maintain their high standards.

This hotel is located in what feels like an apartment building, which houses several other hotels as well. It's super close to the train station, with direct underground access right downstairs. The room itself is well-equipped, featuring automatic curtains, a heated toilet seat, a tea set, and an adjustable electric bed. Breakfast isn't a buffet; it's a fixed set menu. You get a pie, eggs, cold dishes, and you can choose between porridge or noodles. The underground parking garage is quite narrow.

The hotel's硬件 facilities are genuinely impressive. The lobby is opulent and incredibly luxurious, and the rooms are well-equipped. However, the soft services are truly disappointing. From check-in at the front desk to breakfast, the service attitude wasn't even polite. My family of three arrived for breakfast just 5 minutes before closing, and the front desk insisted we pay immediately before entering. Couldn't they just charge it to the room card, or let us sit down and pay a little later? Also, they strictly ration Nongfu Spring water in the rooms, providing only two bottles per day. If you want more, you get a different brand of bottled water. Is this really the service for a 1.5k room? I had already chosen to extend my stay in the same room at 11 PM on the day of check-in, yet no one contacted me about renewing the room card until 6:27 PM the next day. Good service should be seamless and unobtrusive, but every little thing here made us uncomfortable. I hope the experience improves if I have a chance to visit again.

The location is absolutely perfect, right next to Wanda Plaza and not far from the Mountain Resort, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was spacious and elegant, with expansive city views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding was comfortable, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the details were well thought out. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the service was warm and professional; the front desk staff were attentive and responsive. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and the gym and pool facilities were excellent. Free parking was a huge plus. Suitable for both business and leisure, it's definitely the top choice for a high-end hotel in Chengde!

The room is clean and tidy, the details are thoughtful and considerate, and the price-performance ratio is high. Although there is no breakfast, it is convenient to order KFC breakfast takeaway. The mutton soup nearby is good, and a large sesame cake is enough for 2 people. It's very fast to get a taxi downstairs. There is a dedicated underground parking space.

The design of the sink and vanity mirror saves space and is stylish. The hardware facilities are excellent. Hygiene: Whether it's the room or the restaurant, the hygiene is superb. Environment: It's quite close to the South Station, less than a 10-minute taxi ride. There's a Guangkuang supermarket, restaurants, and snack shops nearby, which is very convenient. There are also universities like the Tourism Vocational College in the vicinity, so if you walk a bit further, you'll find even more food options. Service: The service is fantastic. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff are highly professional and efficient. This hotel is highly recommended for those planning to take the high-speed train. For those planning to visit attractions like the Summer Resort, you'll need to consider the travel time, which is probably over 30 minutes.

It's only about a ten-minute drive to the Mountain Resort, making getting around very easy. The room was spacious and very clean, the bedding was soft, and it was quiet at night, so the elderly and children slept very well. The breakfast had a rich variety, both Chinese and Western, with pastries suitable for children and local specialties. The staff were friendly, and the room offered mountain views from the window, which were particularly lovely in the evening. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I highly recommend this hotel for family travel.
