Changsha Hotels with Pools

The hotel has a superior location, elegant environment, clean and tidy rooms, warm and comfortable. There are welcome fruits and small gifts during the Chinese New Year. It only takes 10 minutes to drive to Wuyi Square. There is Cha Yan Yue Se next to the hotel, which is very convenient. Manager Bu in the lobby and Peng Yuhong on the 32nd floor are enthusiastic and patient, attentive to the elderly, and very friendly. Let us, as children, feel very relieved! The restaurant on the second floor tastes good and the price is cheap. It is the right choice to send the elderly to Tongcheng Hotel during the Chinese New Year! I will choose it again if I have the chance! I sincerely recommend it to everyone!

Although the room furniture is slightly dated, it is conveniently located next to i-City mall and serves as a centralised location to explore Changsha. Opt for the daily breakfast and you will not be disappointed. Most of the local food can be found at the buffet and the view on the 43rd floor is magnificent. The only downside was the strong smell of cigarettes that permeated the air in the room. Remember to bring your own swimming cap if u intend to utilise the indoor swimming pool, otherwise u will not be allowed to enter the pool. Swimming caps retail at 40CNY a piece, so BYOC (Bring Your Own Cap)!

The room is a bit old, and the signs of repair are a bit obvious, but the hygiene is very good and the linens are very clean. The service is in place, and the front desk and room service staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. The location is good, and it is a ten-minute walk from Yingbin Road and Furong Square subway stations. There is a heated swimming pool. A small suggestion is not to fry so many eggs in advance for breakfast, because they are too cold when you take them, and they don't respond when you want to heat them up. And if they can be renovated, it will be more worthy of the five-star rating. Overall, I am satisfied.

Checked in on Sat 28th before my fiancé to arrange some things like wedding flowers, decorations etc. Katrina at reception was absolutely fantastic. She followed up on the requests I had and verified the Trip.com staff information which was sent earlier. She was extremely friendly, kind, thoughtful, diligent, and professional - a real asset to IHG. She took care of everything. She arranged the decorations to be done after we left for marriage registration so when I got back it would all be ready for my wife. The facilities and service like the 1st floor all day dining restaurant, the Sky27 bar and Intercontinental club on the 27th floor, were wonderful. The Latin band (Cuban / Colombian duo) were magnificent and quite friendly ✊ Breakfast boxes were arranged for our early departure on 31st. The taxi was ordered and promptly arrived ahead of time to collect us. Hotel staff checked if I was an IHG member and applied my discounts where relevant. Breakfast buffet and all day a La carte dining was wonderful. Shopping mall access through the hotel lobby is easily accessible and quite convenient. All in all, it was a marvellous few days at Intercontinental Changsha.

A very well kept established hotel with large room , clean, impressive toiletries ( Appelles brand ), excellently located to main tourist spots.Though Changsha is a place full of wonderful food ( chilli drenched fish head), there is a McDonald next door (just in case). The hotel staff also very polite and very kind in giving us free goodies bag ( full of local famous Hunan snacks) and by booking with Trip.com, was offered free most famous Local Bubble tea Cha Yan Yue Se 茶颜悦色 delivered to room. It’s conveniently located next to Huangxing Street, only 5-10min walk away. The location is also central to almost all of the famous streets. Very good 5star hotel , rooms are big.

I stayed for 3 nights over Christmas at the W Hotel and it went above and beyond all expectations! From the sleek, modern design to the impeccably clean facilities. It felt very festive as windows and tables were adorned with delightful Christmas decorations, the highlight was the lovely pink tree on the first floor, it was super cute! The entire staff's commitment to ensuring my stay was exceptional deserves high praise. They catered to every need with a level of care and attentiveness that exceeded all expectations. Day 1: Lovely plate of fruit. Day 2: Cute knitted pouch with candy. Day 3: Xmas-plate of fruit and chocolate log. Plus a big shout out to Eric, who was super attentive and assisted in organising my Christmas Eve afternoon tea and the delicious 5-course Christmas Day meal. (It was pricey at 1288, but included the regular buffet, and a gorgeous red basket with gifts plus an oversized bag! So was worth it.) The bar/chill out area seems to be the hangout place. The energetic atmosphere on Christmas Eve was super cool. There was a runway showcasing several models and a cool DJ. It added an exciting vibe to the festivities, making the evening memorable. Furthermore, the huge swimming pool and changing room facilities felt luxurious, only thing missing was a jacuzzi, although sauna and steam room were great. Additional info: hotel is connected to the mall, line 2 metro is accessible via the mall which made is super convenient to travel around the city. Definitely recommend staying here! This W Hotel flawlessly combines luxury, sophistication, and a vibrant atmosphere, making it a standout hotel.

We stayed at the Kempinski for two nights and were pleasantly surprised when they upgraded our room to a higher category upon arrival. The room had a bath and all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and welcoming, although there were some language challenges. They made an effort to help with translation apps when needed. The room service was expensive, even for local Chinese cuisine. If you order food from outside, you have to pick it up in the lobby as they don't offer room delivery. The lobby restroom was dirty and needs improvement. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with the unexpected room upgrade and friendly staff. 👍

This is a glorified 4 star hotel. Other than the location, you will be disappointed with the overall hotel experience. It lacks the attention to detail to be a true 5 star hotel experience. A couple of examples; non-smoking rooms being ruined by smokers, the rainforest shower (top mounted shower head) didn’t work and was just an unpleasant drizzle, air-conditioning that just had a mind of its own with no ability to adjust to desired temperature, the bed being somehow both firm and soft. If you are accustomed to chain hotels, then the attention to detail at the Niccolo is missing!

The room is very clean and the aroma is very comfortable. The decoration style is simple, and the overall quality of the service personnel is also very high. Whether it is cleaning or checking in, everything is very smooth and comfortable. The service attitude is even better!! I left something at the hotel, called to verify the situation, and quickly mailed it. Thank you so much!
