Changsha Tianxin District Hotels

On a business trip to Changsha, I stayed at this hotel following a colleague's recommendation, and the experience far exceeded my expectations. The front desk service on the ground floor was incredibly welcoming; the lady spoke softly and had such a kind and thoughtful attitude. She even proactively upgraded me to a river-view king room. The room was spacious and well-appointed with every amenity. Not only did it feature a bathtub and bathrobes, but an iron was thoughtfully provided, which perfectly addressed my immediate need to press my clothes and shirts. The bedding, too, was a delightful surprise; the mattress offered the perfect balance of firmness, and the duvet and sheets were incredibly soft and skin-friendly. I felt all my fatigue melt away the moment I lay down, leading to exceptionally sound and peaceful sleep throughout my stay. The highlight, however, was definitely the room's stunning view – opening the window revealed a panoramic vista of Orange Isle and the majestic Xiang River unfolding right before my eyes. Especially at dusk, as the golden hues of the setting sun streamed into the room, the spectacular evening glow over the river was on full display. That moment of tranquility and comfort truly allowed me to completely unwind, both physically and mentally.

We booked a family suite with twin beds, which included one bedroom and a living room. The environment was excellent – quiet, comfortable, and without any strange odors. It even had a bathtub, and having two bathrooms was incredibly convenient. The cleanliness was impeccable. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally welcoming. Card access is required to use the elevators, which made us feel very secure. We also enjoyed a beautiful night view of the Ferris wheel from our room. When we checked out, they thoughtfully offered us water for our journey. The only slight downside is that the location isn't as convenient for transportation as staying right by Wuyi Square, but this also means it's wonderfully quiet.

Everything was top notched in this hotel ! Check in was a breeze and the lift took us to 57 storey! High unblock river view was breathtaking, the bed was comfortable and has extra sofa at window side. Layout is good and spacious with dedicated attention to details. Called reception for extra water and within minutes it came. Breakfast spread has variety of choices but we had little time left as the waitress told us it closes at 10am. Best thing, it is situated very near walking street and Hai Xin Guang Chang. Highly recommended although price is steep, but will return someday. Hopefully Grand Hyatt will drop its prices..

The room with the 2-meter king-size bed was ideal for our family of three. Our 10-year-old daughter found a standard 1.8m bed a bit cramped, but she was perfectly comfortable in the 2m bed. It also features a separate living area, perfect for unwinding and enjoying movies on the projector. The hotel's location is superb, just under 50 meters from the subway entrance with direct elevator access. Hauling two suitcases was an absolute breeze. The surrounding area is vibrant. You'll find Luo's Stinky Tofu nearby, and a Chayan Yuese tea shop conveniently located right downstairs. In the evenings, there are plenty of street food vendors, and it's also a great spot to take in the night views.

Very good location and central to all shops and attractions. The hotel was pretty clean and the service was satisfactory. My only complaint is the shower but they did warn us with signs in the room. The hot water was not stable and the water pressure was weak.

Despite its central location, it felt surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The bedding and bathroom amenities were all of good quality. 🚗 **Surrounding Amenities:** There are plenty of dining options and convenience stores nearby, making daily life incredibly convenient. Even better, it remains quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. 👍 **Overall Summary:** This place offers excellent value for money. It's particularly well-suited for families traveling with children, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel is perfectly situated on Yaowang Street, right by Wuyi Plaza. Despite the lively and bustling atmosphere outside, the hotel rooms are remarkably quiet, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep. Its location makes it incredibly convenient for exploring. The room size was quite decent. My only minor quibble was a strong, somewhat unpleasant scent upon entering the room, likely from an air freshener or diffuser. I'd suggest they consider a different fragrance. On a very positive note, the guest service was exceptional; they were always prompt and helpful with every request, even proactively checking daily if we needed housekeeping. All in all, it offers excellent value for money.

Environment: Passing through Changsha, I chose Hualu Hotel for its convenient location. Wenheyou, Pozi Street, Huoguangdian, Taiping Old Street, and a stroll along the Xiangjiang River are all within a 5-10 minute walk. While those who don't like spicy food might not be comfortable with Changsha's cuisine, the street is packed with Cha Yan Family restaurants and authentic stinky tofu. Facilities: Parking is free, but the hotel is located on the ground floor of a construction site that looks like an unfinished building. The last two or three hundred meters involve a narrow alley with three consecutive turns, so novice drivers should be wary. Aside from the somewhat intimidating parking lot, the room was quite nice. Service: The hotel proactively contacted me with a video of the parking route before arrival. Upon check-in, they promptly informed me that the air conditioning temperature was lower than set and provided me with information about the laundry and gym facilities along the way. Regardless of whether they used it, their proactive service is commendable.

The sanitation is relatively clean, the facilities are relatively new, and the sound insulation outside is relatively good, but the sound of the TV next door can be heard when sleeping at night. The unsatisfactory part is that the front desk is perfunctory. I called to ask if I could check in early after getting off the high-speed rail in the morning. The front desk said that there was no room, and even if there was, it might be around 2 pm. I wanted to put my luggage there first so that I could take my children to the museum. Seeing that the front desk said so, it was just official business. The page really only said that luggage could be stored, so I sent my luggage there myself. I checked in at night. There was a girl and a boy at the front desk. All the services written on the page were available only if you asked. If you didn't ask, there was nothing. The funny thing was that I later asked her if there were disposable towels and bath towels. She said that the towels and bath towels in the room were disposable and would be thrown away after use. There was no ironing for clothes written on the page. In addition, the room was cramped and the table was almost unavailable. The so-called city view room can only see the building opposite, and it is very close.
