Hotels in People's Square/The Mixc, Changchun

This hotel was the perfect choice for my business trip; the experience far exceeded my expectations. It's just a ten-minute walk from my client's office, and the hotel even provides USB-C charging ports. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The in-room office setup was exceptionally thoughtful: a generously sized desk, a lamp with adjustable brightness, and even a hidden power outlet with USB ports underneath, so I didn't have to scramble for charging spots for my laptop and phone. The breakfast truly understands the needs of business travelers, starting as early as 5:30 AM. They also offer grab-and-go yogurt and fruit, ensuring you can still have a substantial meal even if you're rushing to an early meeting. Upon checkout, the front desk staff noticed I was carrying a document bag and proactively offered to check my invoice details. This level of attention to detail was impeccable, making me want to return to this hotel for my next business trip.

We stayed for two nights in Changchun to see the air show with our kids, and overall, we were quite satisfied. Due to the air show, hotel prices in Changchun had gone up significantly. I booked an executive twin room without breakfast for just under 1000 yuan per night. The room size was decent; the executive room felt spacious enough. The cleanliness was also good, with hardly any missed spots. The twin beds were a bit narrow, I'd say about 1.2 meters each. The room facilities were pretty complete, but there was no mini-fridge in the room, which was a first for me. If you bought anything that needed refrigeration, you had to take it to the front desk fridge on the first floor, which was quite inconvenient. The hotel service was excellent. Everyone from the front desk staff to the cleaning ladies was very warm, thoughtful, and polite, always willing to help. The robot delivery for food to the room was also very convenient. The hotel's location is fantastic, right near People's Square. To get to the air show, you could take bus 79 directly from People's Square, so transportation was extremely convenient. There are also many famous Changchun restaurants within walking distance of the hotel; we tried several and I have to say, the food in Changchun is really good. Across the street there's a Wanda Plaza, but only the cinema on the fourth floor was open, everything else was under renovation, so there wasn't much to browse. However, there's a convenience store downstairs, which was very handy for buying things. Overall, it was a very good stay!

I would like to give a big thumb up for the receptionist Ms Wang. While having issue with booking, she immediately offered her professional to resolve my issue. As a frequent guest to this hotel, Sirius once again prove service more than its value.

Value for money. Big and spacious rooms. Comfortable beddings and showers. Located directly opposite, 200m away from Exit A of Ren Ming Guang Chang subway station. Although the furnishings are slightly depleted, the rooms were clean and comfortable to stay in. The staff are also responsive and quick to resolve our room's problem.

Environment Service: The two sisters at the front desk are very enthusiastic. Polite and thoughtful. We felt at home. Environment: The equipment is a little old, but the price is here, I think it is very good, and the location is also great. Sanitation: There is a bathtub! ! ! ! There is a bathtub! ! ! ! Although there is a washing machine, there is no water supply and power supply. I guess it is to promote the 10% discount on the 24-hour supermarket on the 8th floor during the stay: this activity. Overall, it is very good. There is a shopping mall downstairs and a subway station not far away.

I stayed at the Hangzhou location twice this year and was blown away by the cleanliness and superior service there. So, as soon as I saw the name pop up while looking for a hotel in Changchun, I had to choose it. Notes: When we arrived, we were politely greeted by the front desk staff and we were able to check-in early hassle-free. The room was clean, odorless, and there was even a window that we could easily open and close ( I’ve seen many other hotels with fake windows, haha). Breakfast was delicious!! There were many options (western and local). We definitely got a belly-full. We also stayed in the restaurant for hours just eating, talking and re-filling our plates. Really nice. We spent 2 nights and had to checkout at 5am on the last day. We were given takeaway breakfast boxes comprising croissants yogurt and fruit. Really convenient since we missed the tasty breakfast. There is a really nice restaurant close to the hotel called Yan Niu. They served local dishes along with some Korean dishes. Delicious!! The town area was about 10 minutes by didi. There were many stores, restaurants and parks in that area. All in all, it was a comfortable stay at the hotel. This was my third Hampton by Hilton stay this year. I hope that they will maintain this level of consistency.

My wife and I enjoyed staying in this hotel very much. Room is spacious, modern, clean and nicely equipped. MTR is just at the hotel doorway which makes in town travel extremely convenient. Breakfast food is plentiful. Staff are friendly, polite and forthcoming. Special thanks is given to Erik, the hotel’s room director. Despite his busy schedule, he always spares time to stay in the reception area to meet hotel guests. He is very helpful and resourceful, always stand ready to offer help and even travel advice. We told him our room was a bit hot due to the heated air conditioning and before long, he solved our problem by arranging one of our small windows to open for fresh air. We said we would take high speed train to leave the city at 2:30pm 2 days after and he immediately offered to extend our checkout time to 1pm. He also advised us to take MTR to go to the high speed train station instead of taking a taxi. We took his advice when checked out and the trip really turned out to be more convenient and faster.

During my stay at this hotel, I was impressed by the high quality of service and excellent facilities. Especially the front desk staff Jiang Xinyu provided very professional and great service. The design of the hotel is very comfortable and made me feel very relaxed. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the hotel was very quiet which allowed me to rest well. The parking lot has two underground floors. It is very convenient. A very good experience.

The sanitation is very good, worthy of being a provincial hotel. The service is in place. Although the hotel is quite old, the facilities are well maintained. I returned to the hotel late on the first day and found that the water pressure was very low and I couldn't take a shower. I contacted the front desk and they immediately sent someone to deal with it. The problem was handled in a timely manner. Thumbs up

I brought my elderly parents to Changchun, and when choosing a hotel, Ctrip recommended this one. Later, I heard from a ride-sharing driver that its location is right in the heart of the city center. You can indeed stroll along and enjoy the scenery of Renmin Avenue. The overall service attitude at the hotel was excellent. It was during the National Day holiday, and the front desk even gave us cute small towels upon check-in. Every day, our room had a different fruit plate. A small detail: I brought my personal laptop and left it in the room, and the next day I found a mouse pad placed next to it – so thoughtful! The shower room not only had conditioner but even body lotion, which was incredibly comprehensive! The only minor drawback was that the hairdryer plug was loose, so I had to hold the plug end with one hand while drying my hair. The breakfast selection was also extensive, and the fried dough sticks (youtiao) were actually made on-site, not just pre-made and simply fried. Overall, it's a conveniently located and comfortable hotel to stay in.
