Hotels in People's Square/The Mixc, Changchun

The hotel is conveniently located in Changchun city center, right by People's Square and next to Zhuozhan Luxury Shopping Mall, making the surrounding area quite bustling. It's a long-standing 5-star hotel, and I've stayed here multiple times when visiting Changchun. The front desk staff are exceptionally attentive and welcoming. A special thank you to them for the complimentary room upgrade! Both the public areas and our room were quite clean and tidy. Breakfast quality control needs strengthening. While there was a wide variety of options, none felt particularly refined, and the taste of most dishes was quite average, though the stewed sauerkraut was delicious. The doorman service also requires improvement. Staff were observed chatting amongst themselves, and there was no proactive door-opening service upon arrival, nor any basic welcoming greetings.

1/ The room I was assigned was the last one, but there was no reminder on the booking page. I found out it was the last one when I arrived at the door of the room. After arriving at the hotel, the front desk did not remind me of the arrangement of the last room. It was uncomfortable to go up and down the stairs. There was a young man lying on the sofa next to the front desk. Can our front desk remind the guests? The quilt had holes in it, which was not good.

Very good front desk resolved an otherwise difficult issue for me. Big picture window in room provided wonderful view of city. Several small restaurants nearby. Starbucks coffee outlet across the street was very convenient for me. Breakfast was not provided by this trade hotel, but I was otherwise very pleased with this accommodation.

The room is large and well-equipped. There is a sofa, desk and chair, desk lamp and air purifier in the bedroom. The deluxe suite has a king-size bed room, a twin-bed room, a living room, a sofa and coffee table in the living room, and three bathrooms. It is very luxurious and surrounded by the university. The environment is elegant and quiet. It is close to Renmin Street, with good surrounding environment and convenient transportation. It is close to the subway and Nanhu Park. It is very convenient. The service staff is very good, very polite, and very decent.

Hygiene: Very clean Environment: Very quiet Facilities: Complete. Service: Excellent. The address is in Zhuozhan Shopping Mall. You can go to the mall as soon as you go out. It is very convenient. You don't need to wear a coat in winter. It is super convenient. Next to Wanda Plaza. There are many places to eat nearby. The price is affordable. Recommended

one of the BEST hotels I've stayed at. it was spotlessly clean and the room and bathroom were both so spacious. the staff were really nice and there is a good laundry service too. it's really easy to get to the train station by public transport (bus) and easy to get to other places in Changchun in general. there's also a lovely bakery in the hotel that does delicious buns and sweet breads - it was my breakfast every day :)

The hotel is a government reception hotel. It still has the grandeur, but the facilities are obviously old. The service is satisfactory and the hygiene is acceptable. The heating is not hot, but there is air conditioning. The breakfast is very good compared to the price. But it also focuses on Chinese food. The bread and snacks are neither good nor bad. The coffee is instant, which is a little regrettable. The most surprising thing is the hotel restaurant, which serves high-quality Northeastern cuisine. As a Harbin native, I was impressed by the pot-fried pork in Jilin. No matter the taste, quality, or quantity. For one person, the waitress said that there would be a lot of leftovers from this dish, and as she said, more than half was left. I ordered another single meal in the room, a small portion, 58 yuan, one meat, one vegetable, one soup, and one rice. All are freshly fried. Very good.

During my stay at this hotel, I was impressed by the high quality of service and excellent facilities. Especially the front desk staff Jiang Xinyu provided very professional and great service. The design of the hotel is very comfortable and made me feel very relaxed. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the hotel was very quiet which allowed me to rest well. The parking lot has two underground floors. It is very convenient. A very good experience.

I stayed at the Hangzhou location twice this year and was blown away by the cleanliness and superior service there. So, as soon as I saw the name pop up while looking for a hotel in Changchun, I had to choose it. Notes: When we arrived, we were politely greeted by the front desk staff and we were able to check-in early hassle-free. The room was clean, odorless, and there was even a window that we could easily open and close ( I’ve seen many other hotels with fake windows, haha). Breakfast was delicious!! There were many options (western and local). We definitely got a belly-full. We also stayed in the restaurant for hours just eating, talking and re-filling our plates. Really nice. We spent 2 nights and had to checkout at 5am on the last day. We were given takeaway breakfast boxes comprising croissants yogurt and fruit. Really convenient since we missed the tasty breakfast. There is a really nice restaurant close to the hotel called Yan Niu. They served local dishes along with some Korean dishes. Delicious!! The town area was about 10 minutes by didi. There were many stores, restaurants and parks in that area. All in all, it was a comfortable stay at the hotel. This was my third Hampton by Hilton stay this year. I hope that they will maintain this level of consistency.

The second time I stayed at Jin'an, the enthusiasm and professionalism of the staff are definitely the first in Changchun hotels, and even the benchmark of the entire domestic hotel industry. From the parking lot manager to the security, to the front desk and cleaning staff and the restaurant staff, they are all warm and friendly. They are always responsive. The decoration style of the hotel is exactly the same as that of Shangri-La. The guest room was upgraded to about 40 square meters, with a bathtub, a refrigerator in the room, soft pillows and buckwheat pillows, etc. The lighting design is reasonable and online. The curtains of the two windows are very delicately designed, and the curtains by the bed are beige, so it is not dazzling when the sun shines in. The hygiene is absolutely impeccable, even the toilet paper is three or four layers of very soft paper. The bed is very comfortable, the bedding is also very comfortable, and I sleep very well. The bathrobe is one thin and one thick, the thin one is very breathable, and the thick one is very soft and comfortable. The breakfast cannot be compared with the five-star hotels in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, but it is also the first echelon in Changchun. It has everything it should have. The hotel's buffet dinner is absolutely worth it. Parking is free. The location is very good, quiet in the bustling city, and it is very convenient to eat nearby. The lobby environment is also very good, the sofas are comfortable, and coffee and tea are provided. I give the hotel and all the staff a five-star rating!!!
