Hotels in People's Square/The Mixc, Changchun

I had a terrible experience at Atour X Changchun Station: took an hour to find the hotel & the room was not ready at 5pm cause they allowed their members to check out at 3pm to 6pm. We went out to eat and came back 40mins later to check in but was told that they CANNOT accept foreigners. They canceled our room booking & told me to find another hotel. Immediately I chatted with Trip.com staff for help. Within 5mins she changed my booking to Yatai hotel :) we were happy staying at Yatai 👍

When checking in, I asked the front desk about the quietness of the room, and they assured me that it was the quietest place in the hotel. However, unexpectedly, the room had a false balcony, which was separated from the hotel corridor by only a partition. After checking in last night, I found that any slight movement in the corridor could be transmitted to the room, which was a great disturbance to rest and lacked the necessary privacy. Today, when my husband opened the invoice, the price on my side was 295 yuan, but the front desk insisted that it was 265 yuan. I was confused by the difference.

The room was a bit tight but I managed to make space for my luggage. The hotel itself is definitely a bit old but it was fine and clean. There was adequate heating so the room was not cold even though it’s winter. Location is pretty convenient too but there are no convenience stores nearby (you have to walk about 100-200m).

The location of the hotel is very good, with convenient transportation, and it is very convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The hotel's buffet breakfast is rich in variety and delicious. The service of Yingying at the front desk is very enthusiastic, the room is also very clean, and free parking is available. It is a hotel worth recommending. Tingting at the front desk is excellent!

The hotel is a bit distance from Changchun station, about 15 minutes walking distance but it's worth to stay at this place. There's actually buses from Changchun station but I didn't take it. The room and toilet in the room is clean. The water pressure is good to have a good shower! The staff in the hotel are friendly especially the 大姐who are serving the breakfast! You can always see the smiles on their face! The breakfast at the hotel is yummy too! Overall, this is a nice hotel to stay! You will never regret to stay here. Price is affordable and their service is good. Oh ya, not to forget! There's washing machine and dryer here in the hotel and it's free of charge! 😀

I stayed at the Hangzhou location twice this year and was blown away by the cleanliness and superior service there. So, as soon as I saw the name pop up while looking for a hotel in Changchun, I had to choose it. Notes: When we arrived, we were politely greeted by the front desk staff and we were able to check-in early hassle-free. The room was clean, odorless, and there was even a window that we could easily open and close ( I’ve seen many other hotels with fake windows, haha). Breakfast was delicious!! There were many options (western and local). We definitely got a belly-full. We also stayed in the restaurant for hours just eating, talking and re-filling our plates. Really nice. We spent 2 nights and had to checkout at 5am on the last day. We were given takeaway breakfast boxes comprising croissants yogurt and fruit. Really convenient since we missed the tasty breakfast. There is a really nice restaurant close to the hotel called Yan Niu. They served local dishes along with some Korean dishes. Delicious!! The town area was about 10 minutes by didi. There were many stores, restaurants and parks in that area. All in all, it was a comfortable stay at the hotel. This was my third Hampton by Hilton stay this year. I hope that they will maintain this level of consistency.

The Hotel Location is ok, near to city Center. Some small restaurants nearby. Outside is currently City Hall construction site. So far ok, but could be noisy at some point. Room a little old and smaller than expected. In second day, some towels and Shower gel not refilled. Pool is ok, but the Sauna and other switched off Breakfast big selection, quality so so Would rate it 4 stars in total

First of all, the location is very good, and the parking lot is next to the Public Security Bureau 😂 which is very safe. It is very close to the zoo and zoo where we are going. The staff was very enthusiastic, first understood my housing needs, and took baby slippers and toothbrushes for the child. The room sweeper also helped us move the bed and get the bed (many hotels do not have a bed, this is great), the hotel temperature is very comfortable. Breakfast is not bad, millet porridge is delicious, the dishes are not bad.

The on-site restaurant served a delicious and diverse breakfast buffet that catered to all tastes. The attentive staff always ensured the buffet was well-stocked and the dining area was clean and inviting. It was a pleasant way to start each day of my stay. Location-wise, HNA Redbuds Hotel was conveniently situated, with easy access to public transportation and various attractions in the area. It allowed me to explore the city effortlessly and return to a comfortable haven at the end of a busy day. Overall, my experience at HNA Redbuds Hotel was nothing short of delightful. The combination of affordability and quality made it the perfect choice for my stay. The attentive staff, comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, and convenient location all contributed to a truly memorable experience. The hotel is a government reception hotel. It still has the grandeur, but the facilities are obviously old. The service is satisfactory and the hygiene is acceptable. The heating is not hot, but there is air conditioning. The breakfast is very good compared to the price. But it also focuses on Chinese food. The bread and snacks are neither good nor bad. The coffee is instant, which is a little regrettable. The most surprising thing is the hotel restaurant, which serves high-quality Northeastern cuisine. As a Harbin native, I was impressed by the pot-fried pork in Jilin. No matter the taste, quality, or quantity. For one person, the waitress said that there would be a lot of leftovers from this dish, and as she said, more than half was left. I ordered another single meal in the room, a small portion, 58 yuan, one meat, one vegetable, one soup, and one rice. All are freshly fried. Very good.
