Hotels in People's Square/The Mixc, Changchun

I had a terrible experience at Atour X Changchun Station: took an hour to find the hotel & the room was not ready at 5pm cause they allowed their members to check out at 3pm to 6pm. We went out to eat and came back 40mins later to check in but was told that they CANNOT accept foreigners. They canceled our room booking & told me to find another hotel. Immediately I chatted with Trip.com staff for help. Within 5mins she changed my booking to Yatai hotel :) we were happy staying at Yatai 👍

I stayed at the Hangzhou location twice this year and was blown away by the cleanliness and superior service there. So, as soon as I saw the name pop up while looking for a hotel in Changchun, I had to choose it. Notes: When we arrived, we were politely greeted by the front desk staff and we were able to check-in early hassle-free. The room was clean, odorless, and there was even a window that we could easily open and close ( I’ve seen many other hotels with fake windows, haha). Breakfast was delicious!! There were many options (western and local). We definitely got a belly-full. We also stayed in the restaurant for hours just eating, talking and re-filling our plates. Really nice. We spent 2 nights and had to checkout at 5am on the last day. We were given takeaway breakfast boxes comprising croissants yogurt and fruit. Really convenient since we missed the tasty breakfast. There is a really nice restaurant close to the hotel called Yan Niu. They served local dishes along with some Korean dishes. Delicious!! The town area was about 10 minutes by didi. There were many stores, restaurants and parks in that area. All in all, it was a comfortable stay at the hotel. This was my third Hampton by Hilton stay this year. I hope that they will maintain this level of consistency.

Everything in this hotel was as described, and even better !! Clean, spacious, modern and welcoming. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The breakfast is delicious and offers a large range of chinese and Dongbei specialties and continental food as well. Very convenient to get there, a lot of commodities around and all the transports you need.

When checking in, I asked the front desk about the quietness of the room, and they assured me that it was the quietest place in the hotel. However, unexpectedly, the room had a false balcony, which was separated from the hotel corridor by only a partition. After checking in last night, I found that any slight movement in the corridor could be transmitted to the room, which was a great disturbance to rest and lacked the necessary privacy. Today, when my husband opened the invoice, the price on my side was 295 yuan, but the front desk insisted that it was 265 yuan. I was confused by the difference.

The hotel has a nice style and complete facilities. The lobby is large. The front desk rabbit Axian has good service and is considerate. Check-in is fast. The room is clean and tidy. The location is in the city center and it is very convenient to go anywhere.

The Hotel Location is ok, near to city Center. Some small restaurants nearby. Outside is currently City Hall construction site. So far ok, but could be noisy at some point. Room a little old and smaller than expected. In second day, some towels and Shower gel not refilled. Pool is ok, but the Sauna and other switched off Breakfast big selection, quality so so Would rate it 4 stars in total

The hotel is a government reception hotel. It still has the grandeur, but the facilities are obviously old. The service is satisfactory and the hygiene is acceptable. The heating is not hot, but there is air conditioning. The breakfast is very good compared to the price. But it also focuses on Chinese food. The bread and snacks are neither good nor bad. The coffee is instant, which is a little regrettable. The most surprising thing is the hotel restaurant, which serves high-quality Northeastern cuisine. As a Harbin native, I was impressed by the pot-fried pork in Jilin. No matter the taste, quality, or quantity. For one person, the waitress said that there would be a lot of leftovers from this dish, and as she said, more than half was left. I ordered another single meal in the room, a small portion, 58 yuan, one meat, one vegetable, one soup, and one rice. All are freshly fried. Very good.

Stayed for 2 nights twin room June 24. We could not fault this place. Super comfortable and quiet. Staff exceptional. Location spot on. 10+ mins walk from Renmin Square subway station on line 1. Cross the road at the lights from the hotel, Chongqing Hu Tong has lots of places to eat. Walk a little further north to Chongqing Lu for a big shopping centre. The best thing about this hotel was the great value. Gets 5 stars for amenities for dyi free laundry. Highly recommend

I love this hotel so much. I have stayed at Jianguo Puyin Hotel in other cities before. I really like the decoration style here. It is more warm and elegant than other chain hotels. This time in Changchun, I chose Jianguo Puyin. This hotel is in the center of Changchun, and the People's Square subway station is just around the corner. There are also many night snack stalls downstairs at night, which makes it very convenient to eat. The breakfast is very rich, with Western and Chinese breakfasts, small cakes and various fruits. There are also plenty of choices for coffee, milk and freshly squeezed juice. The service attitude of the lady at the front desk is very good. We brought a lot of things here, and they took the initiative to take a trolley and delivered our things to the room. The room is very quiet and soundproof. There is no noise at all in the room facing the street. The bedding is also very comfortable. I highly recommend it. I will stay here next time!
