This hotel is surprisingly in an excellent location ... just a stone's throw away from Plaza de Mayo. And then from that point you can explore great sightseeing locations nearby, find good eating spots, walk along the main shopping avenue, and so on. The hotel decor could do with some sprucing up ... the rooms are small, and it is a bit run down, but so are many spots in Buenos Aires due to economic hardships, so I won't be too harsh on them, however, it was clean and affordable, and the staff was courteous for the most part, although the lady at the front desk was a bit unwelcoming and too "stiff" for my liking at the start, but she warned up later on. Breakfast could've included just a bit more in my opinion, for instance eggs. But again, I think the lack therof is all due to Argentina's economic turmoil ... things are tight. All that being said, I may still choose to stay at Hotel Uthgra de las Luces when I return.

A localização é imbatível. A poucos metros da Plaza di Mayo, Cabildo, Casa Rosada e Catedral. O metrô da estação Bolívar fica a uns 50 metros do hotel. Dá para ir caminhando para Puerto Madero e San Telmo. Os funcionários são muito educados e preparados, os quartos confortáveis, com tv a cabo e netflix. Tudo muito limpo! Bom custo benefício.

I only have words of gratitude for the excellent attention of all the staff!! The rooms very comfortable and clean! The breakfast is very complete and with very rich croissants and cakes of very varied tastes! All accompanied with infusions and juices!! I especially have to congratulate you for having taken into account my celiac and diabetic condition on the menu! In addition to having a great location in the historic area! I recommend this hotel for being very good in everything!!!

Hotel well located, close to public transport (metro and bus) and also close to tourist attractions such as Plaza de Mayo (Casa Rosada and Metropolitan Cathedral) and Porto Madero. Breakfast good value for money.
