The hotel is very good, it is an old-fashioned hotel with many rooms. It can be seen that it has a lot of history and local style. The price-performance ratio is good. It is good to experience it. It is located in the Jewish district. There is a horror house attraction nearby. The attraction was once the office of the Nazis in Budapest. Many items are worth seeing.
The hotel’s location is quite convenient, being close to Keleti Metro Station, which provides easy access to Budapest’s main attractions. However, the room I stayed in (on the 5th floor) felt somewhat outdated and didn’t meet the standards expected of a 4-star hotel. There was even a brief power outage during my stay (on December 7). Additionally, the cleaning crew didn’t seem to put much effort into the daily room cleaning. On the positive side, the check-in/-out process were smooth and breakfast service was decent, with a variety of Western options such as scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausages, alongside traditional Hungarian dishes.
I would recommend the hotel if the management considers a facelift for their older hotel rooms.
Staying in this hotel was a great choice! The staff was very nice especially the girl from reception , studio super clean and was more than furnished with everything we needed, kitchen etc. The position is super central! We highly recommend it and we will come back for sure! ☺️

The hotel is gorgeous!! Breakfast spread was alright; nothing too special but the architecture of the space was very lovely. The live classical music was an added bonus.
We had issues with the shower and after two attempts to fix it, we were moved to another room. We appreciated the gesture.
The weather was extremely hot and it was very unpleasant to be out but we were able to walk down to the port in 20 mins, so the location was great.
We tried to get in a spa treatment but it was fully booked, we should've pre-booked before arriving!
All in all, a lovely few days.
The hotel room is very large and even has a living room. There is a Chinese restaurant right outside the hotel. There is a supermarket around the corner, and it is next to the New York Cafe. The city bus is also nearby, at the 12th stop.
It's a one-bedroom, which is actually almost the same as an ordinary one.
Location: Excellent, close to subway station and train station. There are many restaurants nearby. It is also convenient to go to scenic spots.
There is no breakfast, but there is a cooking stove, refrigerator, and microwave. There is a supermarket nearby so you can cook your own food. Or eat out.
Fortunately, there is a washing machine, but the bath towels are not changed every day.
Clean and sanitary.
I would be happy to provide an excellent review for Continental Hotel in Budapest. My experience at the hotel was fantastic. The room was tidy and clean, and the location was excellent, close to the city center and the great synagogue. The pool and sauna were also great amenities. Most importantly, I would like to give a special thanks to the excellent service provided by the hotel staff, who was extremely helpful during my stay. Overall, I highly recommend the Continental Hotel for anyone visiting Budapest.
The location is just perfect, the hotel is very cozy and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok, different kinds of rolls, eggs cold meats, fruits, yogurt and cereals. Variety of coffee and tea flavors. It helps to start your day and discover Budapest.
The room was clean and looked fresh every day, really nice view of the central rail station and Puskás stadium.
The metro station is just steps away as well as the tram and bus stops.
Arena mall just 15 min walk or 5 min bus ride away.
Next to the hotel you will find a conventional store, Starbucks, and Pizza Me (recommended 100%) a bar and just around the corner international fastfood restaurants.
If you are planning to visit other cities/countries by train, this hotel is a perfect base location.
I really recommend this property for any kind of traveller and I would stay here again if in Budapest
The apartment is well located, but it is very tiring because you don't enter directly, you have to go through a kind of maze that is quite tiring and go up and down stairs to get to the apartment, because the elevator is broken, but in the 4 nights we stayed they never fixed it, I think it is something permanent. On the other hand, if you stay 4 or 5 nights there is no change of towels, nor is there shower soap, so the amenities are very fair for what you pay for this apartment.
Hotel surpassed all expectations. It is in the heart of Budapest. Excellent location for the bus from the airport (2 minutes walk), subway (any branch), tram, bus to the Budai Fortress, sights in the foot availability. Around a huge number of cafes and restaurants. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is a coffee machine with free coffee at the respiratory. The hotel is just super and next time it will be, definitely stay in this hotel.

DDelboyA fantastic place to stay in the heart of Budapest and near to all attractions. The room was big and clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A big shout out to Hanni at reception for helping me with directions to getthe airport bus
黄黄Hotel breakfast is very good, adult 16 euros, half price for children. The only bad thing is the two bedrooms, with two shower rooms, but there is only one toilet. If there are many people in the family, they will always have to wait for the toilet. Everything is fine except for this. The parking lot is also very convenient. From the garage you can take the elevator directly to the room floor.
NNick Chiang 0207It’s still comfortable, but when I sleep, there is aunt who is spraying swear words with each other. It’s noisy enough. I hope I can help persuade nearby residents.
SShao Thing TeohFun playful hotel with video game-themed decor and a console gaming station in the lobby. A little on the old side, room was quite small but for the price one cannot complain. Not a fan of the bathroom design where there is no proper shower curtain so it's impossible to avoid wetting the rest of bathroom when taking a shower. Breakfast was included and quite good especially the scrambled eggs with ham.
PPatricklsyCentral location, surrounded by many restaurants, especially Vietnamese restaurants, close to the supermarket and opposite the post office. It is very convenient to go to the old train station and the Capitol, and you can also take the citywalk.
Kkim_travelsGreat staff who were approachable and able to recommend great activities. The room was cozy and in a great location and the breakfast was excellent with lots of variety i.e. teas, juice, salad, fruits, meats etc. I recommend the waffle for breakfast. The only thing that may need improving was the shower cubicle, it was so tiny you could hardly turn around in it.
AAbbeyLocated centrally within a short walk to a number of good bars, restaurants and cafes however it can get noisy until the early hours of the morning. The apartment was compact but big enough for 2 people however the bed was a very small queen. There was only 1 coffee capsule for 2 people staying and although there were lots of electrical sockets, they were all for European plugs and not one had a USB connection which would be far more useful for most travellers. The bathroom mirror was laughable - I’m 5ft 2” and could just see the top of my head in it!
Instructions to gain entry were emailed on check-in day, which also included downloading an app. This would’ve been useful to know prior to travelling.
EElssssThe location is normal, 20 minutes walk to the center. There is a double-decker bus stop nearby. The room is small, ordinary. Now I will tell you a huge minus. Very strong audibility, the walls are thin, as if in the next room. On one side there was a child and he was crying, on the other someone was watching TV very loudly. On the last night the TV was on until 2 am, they were watching a horror movie, it was creepy and scary from the screams. I was afraid to go to the neighbors alone, you never know who lives there. I suffered for two hours, then I just knocked on the wall and the sound was turned down. The building is also under renovation, everything is in scaffolding. In general, the amenities are minimal, but it is clean and the girl at the reception was nice. It's a pity that they don't keep the silence
GGuest UserGood value for money hotel. The disadvantage is that the deposit of 50 euros paid by credit card on May 9 has not been refunded for almost 3 weeks, and no reply has been given.
