Very terrible experience. bed bugs and mosquitoes everywhere including the bathroom. killed 7 mosquitoes in one night. even got TRAPPED IN THE ELEVATOR. no air conditioner, hot af. DONT GO TO THIS HOSTEL. people are not nice.

Location was perfect, but the annoying part is that having to carry your luggage a few levels up with no lift and a narrow stairs. Staff friendly I had to wait little while to be able to check in as only one employee was working.

Small room, no towel and soap

Booked twice now with Safestay and they have been excellent. Nice easy check in no matter what time, both the hotel and hostel rooms are a perfect as a base camp. The hostel and hotel rooms use the same comfortable beds with USB/plug sockets and a reading lamp. The bathroom facilities have been clean and have a good pressure shower. The location is no more than a 5min walk from the centre square and is located only 20min from Midi station. If you’re doing Brussels on the cheap I would highly recommend!

Towels are charged. The location is in the center of the city, but the area is not very safe, so it was a bit crowded outside until late at night.

It's close to the center of Brussels, so it's very convenient for sightseeing. The station is also relatively close. The bathroom was clean, but the original building seemed old. The window in my room was under repair? It seemed like it had just been repaired, so there was wood chips on the bed I was assigned to, which was a bit uncomfortable. The bed was a metal bunk bed, so it shook when I moved, and when I got drunk and tried to climb it at night, I tripped and got a scrape and the place where I hit it became swollen. I'm not lowering the rating because it's my fault for drinking too much, but please be careful. The key is a smartphone app, so be careful of the remaining battery power (you can borrow a card key from the front desk, but...)

The front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful. They were able to understand my poor English and make sure the problem was resolved. I think some people find it annoying to hear other people talking. Also, the facilities are not new, so the floors make noise when you walk, and the doors are thin, so the sound echoes from the hallway to the rooms. If you can tolerate that, it's not a big deal.

When I arrived, I found out that this is a youth hostel, not a hotel! ! ! You must see clearly every time! ! ! The cover image is not this hotel, don't be misled! ! ! The location of the hotel is very convenient to travel. Our 3-person room is a bunk bed and a single bed, but the room is not only smelly but also super small, and there is no air conditioning! The bedding was also not clean. After we arrived, we rebooked other hotels, in short, it is not recommended to stay!

The location of the dormitory was the best! The inside feels a bit like a dormitory in a rural school... But the location was good because it was close to the center!

The location is great ~ It’s less than 5 minutes away from Grand Plaza. And it's nice to have a personal sleeper curtain. However, I made a prepayment on Trip.com, but they insisted that it didn't work. I didn't make a fuss after calling Trip.com's customer service center. It was resolved well, so other than that it's okay. They don't give you towels.
