Tru by Hilton Milwaukee Brookfield

First time staying at a Tru by Hilton, and we loved it! We mostly needed a place for one night since we were just in Milwaukee visiting friends. But the location was great and close to the freeway and easy to find. I was a little skeptical of the hard wood floors, but they were not bad. It made the room a little echo-y, but it wasn't terrible (and I get why the wood floors, much easier for cleaning). The Bathroom was HUGE and I loved that it came with built in shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the shower and hand soap and lotion by the sink! The beds were true Queen size (not that smaller size places pawn off as a ”queen”). The under bed storage was a smart design, and the simplicity of room was a nice refreshing take on décor. We will totally book a Tru again for traveling (or a Home2Suites if we have a longer stay). The only down side was breakfast ended at 9am, and we almost missed it. Oh, and I believe I found 24 (yes 24) Electrical sockets in the room along with 4 USB plug ins by the TV. It was nice to not have to hunt around for a socket!

Stayed two nights (7-25-26-2022) to attend Brewers game. Floors 2-4 have been remodeled and are okay. We had three adults and one child in a standard two queen room. Wow, that is small space. Bathroom is adequate, but tiny…no grab bar in shower, very limited counter space around sink. Staff were a mixture of good and substandard. Breakfast served in a dusty room with bare cement floor. I would avoid until remodel is complete and think twice even then. Sally K., Minnesota
