I booked an executive room with balcony. It says online that there was airconditioning which was the reason why I booked this studio type room since that week Czech was at its 30+° the entire week. We arrived around 7pm and head straight to their restaurant so we only checked the aircon when we came back to the room. It was not working. We asked for help and the receptionist dont know how to help us too. I was taking hormone medication that really heats up my body inducing a premenauposal state hence why I needed aircon badly. It was too late to pack up and looked for another hotel coz we were so exhausted so I tried to sleep with the fan which was not enough since it was hotter at night. Did not get enough sleep, was awoken a lot of times. At theck out I asked for compensation,which was a headache in negotiating, I even asked if they could just price the room same as the standard room and give me a refund but Supervisor wanted to use the price for the following day which was even higher than what we paid so there was no refund. They offered 10% discount but only to be redeemed when we stay another night. So ridiculous management. Then they also asked to deposit the same amount we paid online upon check in and it has been two weeks now and the money has not been refunded. They only tell me to chase my bank but I already have and said Efi hotel has not issued any refund. Was very stressed and not worth staying!

Advantages - location - pretty close to the city center, good calm area - small hotel – not too many guests - cozy rooms - decent breakfasts – for its price - friendly personnel trying to help in any situation Drawbacks - “tired” interiors – it seems like most of the rooms require some renovation - problems with AC which was critical for us in Brno in June (30+ C outside) - lack of flexibility from the hotel’s management side I need to explain 2 last points. We were in Brno in June 2023 because of health treatment and didn’t know how long it would last, so we booked 6 non-refundable days in this hotel. We specifically chose hotel, not Airbnb, because we were familiar with local summer and wanted to have a room with AC. However, when we checked-in, it turned out that AC in our room doesn’t work which we hadn’t being told. Then it turned out that there was a big ACs replacement in the hotel at that time (without any notification during or after booking). We managed to get another room on the second night, and at the same got information from the clinic that we may go home after day 3. Via Booking we asked for partial refund because of the inconveniences with AC and partly because we checked-out after 3 nights while paid for 6. After that , I experienced 3 or 4 months (!!) of correspondence with Booking and the hotel management which from the very beginning was ready to refund but always had some technical problems, and in the end just disappeared. Lot of waisted time. Strongly do not recommend, as, unfortunately, with all the advantages I mentioned above , general impression is negative.

The hotel is located in a very quiet location well communicated from the city center. I personally expressed an unspoilt idea of the decoration of the famous battle under Slavkow. The next advantage is very delicious regional breakfasts with the panorama of Brna in the background. Thanks to the competent staff and the extremely nice and professional service, the guest can really feel at home. I recommend this hotel to any traveler across Morawa.

Are Czech people familiar with Japanese? .. Some of the people at the front desk greeted me and cared for me in Japanese while speaking one word. The room was large and clean for the price and had a bathtub. I thought breakfast was normal, but the warm bake beans were very delicious, and it was so delicious that I thought that there would be a large dish instead of a small ball. Unfortunately, there is a little distance from the station. It's a short walk from the tram number 1, but it may be full depending on the time and may be difficult depending on the size of the ridge.

The facilities are perfect and the location is very convenient. It is easy to find, check in self-service form, a few points can check in. The room is comfortable and quiet. There is a bar nearby which is very good and the wine is complete. Finally, I also send soup. I like this trip very much.

Wir waren für 2 Nächte hier. Es ist eine sehr schöne Pension. Die Lage ist sehr gut, mitten in einem Wohnviertel. Zu Fuß sind es 3 Minuten bis zur Straßenbahn und 30 Minuten bis zur Innenstadt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Am ersten Morgen gab es zusätzlich zum Buffet für jeden einen Palas*****en und am 2.Tag ein süßes Teilchen. Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich und spricht ein wenig deutsch. 2 negative Punkte waren für uns, dass es sehr hellhörig war (Zimmer oben darüber und Flur) und das man das Zimmer nicht richtig verdunkeln konnte. Das Zimmer ist groß und modern eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen kleinen Balkon. Hinter dem Haus sind kostenfreie Parkplätze, mit einem Tor gesichert.

Hotel Omega is a great hotel, spacious and clean rooms. Private clean bathroom with shower, washing table and toilet. Rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast buffet is on the 4th floor with view of the castle and one of the churches. The breakfast is good and is always supplemented. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One handicap is that there is no English speaking at the reception and a little German. The hotel has a parking area in Brno, so I reserved a parking space in the (small) parking garage. At 200 metres (in another street) there is a tram stop. The tram and bus can move well.
