We booked 4 rooms with the gang. I sleep alone and I have dyed hair. But in the bathroom, there is still black hair near the bathroom door. I'm not sure if the cleanup is not in time or what, but it's not an obstacle. I just feel that it shouldn't be there. The location is very close to the market. The room is not big. The usable area is small. It's really suitable for sleeping only. The water flows strongly. The light is normal. There is no glass bathroom door between the shower and the toilet (but there is a glass wall). The TV signal is not very good, so I didn't turn it on. But the Wi-Fi is very strong. I took my laptop to watch a movie. The staff provided good service. They called at 11 am to inform that the housekeeper would come to clean at 11:30. It's good that we made an appointment to check out at this time. If we really checked out at noon, I'm not sure if there would be a problem (the system said check out at 12:00). And for the breakfast coupon, I didn't have time to use it because the restaurants in that area will have a break during the day and open again in the evening. If I checked out at 11:30, I wouldn't be able to eat in time. For those who want to use this privilege, I recommend waking up early to eat.

It is a classic ancient style room in the same style as many accommodation in Chiang Khan. The condition of the room may not be very new, but the air conditioner is cool, TV equipment supports YouTube (SmartTV). The hotel offers merit and alms to monks in the morning. This is a pleasant place to stay overall, but considering the price it charges, they really need to upgrade their service and amenities. The property itself is nice in terms of location and vibe, but it's not very well-maintained that you wouldn't expect at this price point. It also lacks basic 4-star amenities; for instance, there's no regular restaurant service where you can just walk in and order a meal for lunch or dinner, the food is tasty, no doubt, but you have to plan your meals in advance rather than enjoying the convenience of an on-demand dining experience. Round-the-clock service is simply not available since the staff clocks off by around 9:30 or 10:00 PM, making it function more like an Airbnb than a proper hotel. Another major issue is the telecom network—there is literally no phone reception in the area, and you might end up picking up a Laos network instead, which is quite frustrating; thankfully, the property has good WiFi, so you can easily stay connected to the world through that. That said, the staff themselves are wonderful, very polite, pleasant, and genuinely helpful with most things, which does make the stay more comfortable. That really covered for everything during my stay. However, there's also no proper power backup in case of outages, which is concerning for a property at this rate. So yes, it's a decent place if you go in with the right expectations and don't mind limited service hours and network issues.

I stayed in a tent. It was smaller than I thought. I felt cramped. The tent smelled musty, probably because the air was humid. I hit my head on the tent beam many times 😭 (I was stupid). The breakfast was delicious. The bathroom was clean. I liked that there was a hair dryer, hair straightener, and hair curler provided.

Absolutely wonderful place, perfect location and friendly staff. Superior rooms are definitely worth the extra. Would recommend to anyone.

The accommodation area is a bit untidy. We stayed in a room on the building. The room is not very clean. A little dusty But the overall picture is ok. Breakfast is provided. Breakfast seats, good atmosphere, next to the Mekong River.

We were disappointed with our stay. We decided to treat ourselves and book a deluxe river view room. On arrival we discovered that the parking was a few streets away - a bit inconvenient and not as advertised. The room did indeed have a river view but the room was tiny. I am 5’7” and my partner is 6’3” and neither of us could enter the room without ducking down under the low doorframe. The ceiling in the room was very low and we both had to duck into the bathroom. I feel the ceiling height should be mentioned in the room listing as it really is very low and all but the shortest of guests would struggle. Luckily they had an upstairs room available, with a partial river view, which we changed to, at an added cost. The lady informed us that breakfast would be served in the restaurant across the road. She gave us a voucher for breakfast. When we woke up and went for breakfast the restaurant was closed and there was no one on reception to ask for help. We needed to check out and get our key deposit back but couldn’t find anyone to help us. After a few attempts of calling the hotel phone number I got an answer and a lady appeared a few minutes later. She took us to a restaurant a way down the street where we were able to get some food - this took ages to come and as we were already late in leaving due to no one being available to check us out we had to leave before all the food arrived. All in all we were really disappointed and felt that the price of the accommodation was not reflected in the standard of the room or the service we received.

My stay is in a good location, but the room is not clean. The glass still has lipstick marks.

It is a hotel next to the Mekong River. The weather is good. The rooms are classic wooden houses. But there will be some noise when walking. The room is reasonably wide. But it may look old. Especially the bathroom and towels are already a bit yellowish. Breakfast is considered delicious, delicious orange juice, delicious wet rice and delicious soup. Overall, it's considered good.
