Hotels with Breakfast in Yuzawa

I sincerely recommend this accommodation owner to speak Chinese, the attitude is very kind, no matter what the boss is helping, the boss is sincerely assisting, it is a warmth from the heart, I highly recommend the hotel accommodation facilities and Although the equipment for bathing is relatively general, it can be felt that the boss's management intentions The overall accommodation quality is very extra and there is a simple sense of happiness!

Hotel room was good and massive,facilities are abundant as well. The onsen is super spacious and it's thru the night. Food selection are quite a few but do try to get to Eki for more selections... Just take note of the last shuttle bus back to hotel. In all the stay was good, just need to take note that this hotel is only allow SKI in / SKI out... But NOT SNOWBOARDING.... That you have to take shuttle bus to other resort location thru its skiing shuttle bus services...

Very nice hotel. It seems that the hotel that is run by itself has roots in the local area, because a large area in front of the house is open space and there is no building block, which requires some historical support. The hot springs are also very good. Obviously, the hotel has its own small and beautiful insistence, and guests need to cooperate as much as possible. There are rules to maintain the beauty. Compared with other recommended larger hotels in town, it is on the slope, so the scenery should be more convenient and beautiful, but it needs to climb, and it is far from the station and the 7-11 on the side of the station. Everything else is perfect and I like it very much.

The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, a little uphill, pushing a large suitcase is acceptable, not too strenuous. January just after the Japanese long holiday stay, one night two meals more than HK$800 value, every day on time staff delivered to the room, very rich dishes, a total of 4 nights, every day the menu is different, hotel The staff of the and restaurant were very polite, the first day at 9 pm arrived at the hotel, thinking so late, will not leave food and ready to go out to find something to eat, very suddenly someone knocked on the door, opened the door to see a large pot Japanese food is in front of you. Anything else , he will tell you don’t know. Go find yourself. Besides selling tickets that he will earn money. You’ll get no information from him 4. 1st day check-in, my in room hot spring tub is slimy n dirty stained wil algae. I scrub a lot out and took video. Same Japanese man came and nothing. Till I show him the algae I’ve scrub and the video, he kept quiet. Housekeeping do scrub off within 30mins 5. Breakfast is same everyday 6. Dinner, slight changes but still 99% same. 7. Child meal is hopeless.  Stayed for 5nights, same meals daily.  8. Want to bring a cake to dinner to celebrate my Daughters Birthday, we were forbidden to do so. Nothing besides what they bring to you.  9. Onsen was good 10. Basic ice cream treats.  11. Simple ramen in the evening Hotel is too rigid. It’s really expensive during our visits. The rules at dining and the same meals daily, it’s unbearable. Kids have nothing much to eat For the price, I’ll not stay in this rigid property. Many other Ryokan resort for lesser price and better options. It’s not ski in ski out and yet price are too high.

Our trip to Naeba was seamless. We booked our shinkansen ticket online, so we know what time we need to be at Tokyo Station. Prior to our trip, I've booked online via the hotel website their free shuttle. As I know that we would arrive at Echigo-Yuzawa slightly before 1pm and would not make it for the 1pm shuttle, I booked 1 hour later. No worries about spending time at the station, as they are stalls and shop to look around. At 2 p.m., the shuttle bus was there, and they took our names and helped with our luggage. Although it was early in the winter season, there were quite a few number of visitors on the same bus. The bus ride is about 40 minutes. Once at the hotel, we checked in and got our keys for our room in Building 2. As the ski lift closes at 5pm, we did not plan to ski until the next day. TIPS: This would be the best time to book 1 Day Ski passes online in advance (can not same day) as you save 1,000 yen per ticket. QR Code is available on the pamphlet given by reception or at the ticket collect machine area at Buiding 3. We booked a room for 4 people, 2 on bed and 2 on the sofa bed. The space was sufficient for us, albeit have to take turns to open luggage. Resort guest also are given 1 locker per room to store your ski gears. So it was easy for us to come in the morning to retrieve our gear and head out to the snow. As this is an old resort, do not expect modern furnishing, but it has what a hotel should have and we'll maintain in terms of cleanliness. It was still early in the season (we stayed 17-20 Dec), so restaurant selection is quite limited as most are only opening after 20th Dec. On the first day, one will need to spend some time at the ski rental store as everyone queue for their gear.

This is our 3rd week of 4 weeks exploring Japan and so far Yuzawa Grand is the best Ryokan Onsen experience we have had. We could have spent several days there it was sublime. We arrived in the morning and the staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. We had been told by the tourist centre at the train station that the gondola wasn’t operational for 3 days; however the Yuzawa Receptionist assured us that it was operating and showed us that they were even able to sell us tickets at a discount. She gave us a map and bus timetable, showing us where everything was. They stored our backpacks for us and off we went exploring and had a marvellous time. We soaked our feet in the foot baths while having a treat before catching the bus to the mountains. We came back to our gorgeous room which had a coffee pod machine in it. Was so nice having a coffee in the morning looking out the window. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful Onsens before dinner. The buffet at both dinner and breakfast was incredible, everything so beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. Highly recommend this gorgeous hotel. The staff are fantastic and the ambiance very peaceful.

Very bad experience, my husband placed his glasses into the ski-googles packing box, then we go out skiing at the morning, when we back after dinner and hot spring at night. we found the packing box is lost in the room. But we surely haven’t brought it out. We asked the staff, the staff help to ask the cleaners, but they just said have seen it. So we lost the glasses mysteriously. And we haven’t found it at last.  My husband love this glasses very much and it lost unexpected in the room.

Very close to echigo yuzawa station Surrounded by ski resort and delicious restaurants. Breakfast is great value. Recommend you come and stay. Self- check in but they have manual how to check in and get the key in the key locker

Staff service is very good, very professional. Ski rentals are available at the hotel, which is cheaper than ski resorts and other ski resorts. Ski tickets at the hotel are also available at discounts. There is also a special car transfer, when you see everyone waiting for the bus in a long queue, your special car is already waiting for you at the door, when it snows, feel warm. It is only a 5-minute walk to Yuehou Tangyu Station and 7-11.
