Mercure Grand Hotel Metz Centre Cathédrale

Hotels in Metz
Located in historic heart of Metz, the 18th century Mercure Grand Hotel Metz Centre Cathedral, renovated in Art Déco style, is a stone's throw from St. Etienne Cathedral, the banks of the Moselle & the covered market. Situated in the heart of the pedestrian district, you'll enjoy the comfort of our tastefully & authentically renovated rooms as well as the winter garden topped w/ a magnificent glass roof.
"I had a fantastic stay here! The location is absolutely perfect right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient to walk around for shopping and exploring the best local eateries. The room was spotless and well-maintained. I especially loved the spacious bathroom and the super comfortable bed, which ensured a great night's sleep. Everything Highly recommended for anyone looking for convenience and comfort!"

Best Western Metz Centre Gare

Hotels in Metz
The hotel was completely renovated in 2023 with contemporary decoration. The Best Western Metz Centre Gare is located 100 meters from Metz train station in the city center, Centre Pompidou, and the congress center Robert Schumann. The location is just perfect! This three-star hotel will offer you comfort, convenience, and tranquility. The hotel has three room categories from a standard room to a deluxe. The difference between those rooms will be the size of the bedding and the size of the room. All our rooms have high-speed Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a coffee machine, and a television with Canal +. The breakfast will be served under an American buffet with local products. We offer a snacking selection with the offer BOCO and you may enjoy a local drink at the bar. At the Best Western Metz Centre Gare, the front desk is open 24 hours. The team will be happy to assist you with your request.
"The location is in front of the station, so it's very convenient for getting to and from the station. You can walk to most destinations in the city in about 20 minutes, and there are delicious cafes nearby. The city center is about a 15-minute walk away, but it's not that far, so it's convenient to stay in front of the station. The staff were all friendly, and I recommend it if you're coming to Metz. However, the bathroom was a bit of a problem. There was no curtain in the shower room, and there were almost no steps, so the shower water would flow into the bathroom no matter what you did. I managed to get by with a bath mat, but it was difficult to use, so if there is a room that doesn't have that, I would choose that and stay there again next time."

Campanile PRIME - Metz Centre Gare

I was really impressed with this hotel. The location is excellent, right next to Gare de Metz-Ville (Metz Central Station), yet quiet, without any noise from the trains. The hotel is also quite close to the Metz Bus Station, very convenient for travelers using buses or connecting to longer journeys via FlixBus, as well as other buses. The hotel is clean, tidy, and well-organized. The furnishings in the room are arranged logically. The interior design features elegant colors with white, grey, and a striking light green. The receptionist is a lovely gentleman who is attentive, polite, and makes a good impression on guests from the very first interaction. A good night's sleep in Metz. We will definitely return here when we visit Metz and the Lorraine region again in the future.

Great hotel, room and bathroom are not very large but contain everything you need. Breakfast was fine and I even got freshly picked gluten-free bread. We were able to park the car in an underground parking garage 👍

Cold welcome. Waitresses at the restaurant weren't all friendly. Otherwise, good location. Room was quite spacious.

Small downside for the gentleman at the reception who was very friendly, but who asked me for an identity document. So I gave him my driving license issued by the state and therefore serves as an identity document accepted in France from the moment the photo on the document resembles the person. Fortunately my wife had hers, otherwise he would not have accepted us. After research his explanations were completely false. Otherwise the rest is good

We booked for a double roome with 2 beds, it is a very small room (yes, I knew this in advance) but since we only stayed for 1 night only. that was fine. If we have two big suitcases and we need to unfold both, we need to find our own arrangements. Anyhow, in general, the breakfast service was good! The reception desk was very kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is not far from city center, located in a very quite place for living habitats I think. I give 4.5 / 5 points.

The couple drove by themselves and stayed at the ACE chain hotel, which has free parking and is about ten minutes' drive from the old town. They were very satisfied. It's next to the highway, but there is no noise when the windows are closed. The surrounding area doesn't look like a commercial or residential area, but there is a supermarket next to it. The hotel staff are friendly and the rooms are clean.

Very suitable for self-driving, the room is really small but you can also put down two big boxes, the bed is still very comfortable, the health is also done well, there are two big supermarkets at the door.
