Hotels with Breakfast in Gran Canaria

We arrived just as the hotel was subject to a power cut. The young guy receptionist took us to the room as our door keys would not work due to the electricity outage. The electricity came back on in reception about 5 minutes later but someone had to go room to room to reset each rooms supply. Some 2 hours later after having sat in the dark unable to unpack and several tracks to reception and being told we were priority we gave up and went out to dinner in the clothes we travelled in after a 4 hour 30 minutes flight. Other hotels were affected in the same street apparently. Once this issue was sorted by the time we got back from dinner everything was great. Lovely breakfast, lovely room with Molton Brown shower gel, shampoo and hand soap and lotion. Lovely pool and no issue getting sun beds. Short walk to the beach and dunes but a lot of steps up and down. Also 10 minute walk to Yumbo shopping centre which had everything you needed from great shops to excellent restaurants and bars. Great place for LGBTQ to meet up and great place to people watch. Definitely recommend

Yesterday, I just arrived at the time and I couldn’t decide whether to book this for three days. I originally decided to bring the baby before leaving or to come by myself. The buffet is not booked, the other two have to be booked in advance but it is also free. The back door of the hotel can be directly connected to the sea by brushing the room card, or you can go to the seaside. They are restaurants, bars and shops. You can imagine how lively it will be during the peak season. And this street is so long that you can walk 40 ➕ minutes while walking, eating and drinking all the way. The roadside is a five-star hotel. You can see the swimming pool and restaurant of other hotels. You are ready to change to a hotel next time. The good part is people are very nice and.friendly, super helpful. Service is good as well. Location is perfect, touristic, but not too crowdy. However, hotel facility is not well maintained. Our doors in the room can barely be closed, bathroom is pretty dirty, i can see mold in the corner, the structure of the room is weird, at night, u need to close all doors in the room to avoid lights in the hallway ourside of the room, breakfast is just soso, have all the basics, but not tasty. boiled eggs are even cold. We didnt use the swimming pool, cannot comment on that.

Super good! Exceeding expectations! Going out is the sea, and the balcony of the room is also facing the sea. Some additional travel activities in the hotel are also very good. Going out to see whales, hiking activities, etc. are very nice! I hope I have a chance to come again in the future!

Very suitable for parent-child vacation, the hotel has arranged a lot of programs from morning to night. The design details of the hotel are super beautiful and ubiquitous, perfect African style. There are 9 swimming pools, you can definitely find the place you want to lie down and relax. There is a long row of shopping festivals and small restaurants at the entrance of the hotel. The Tujiu restaurant is the most authentic and delicious. Everything was fantastic! Except for the room door, it opened poorly; the card didn't make good contact, and it was difficult to open. The full breakfast buffet had everything and was delicious. I would come back again!

We have wanted to stay at AxelBeach for a while. People told us it's just an expensive old hotel, but because of the name it stays busy. Well, unfortunately that is the case. The rooms look like they haven't been updated for 50 years. The TV is old and the wires behind it were frayed so badly it didn't have a signal. And the mattresses are so thin and uncomfortable I woke up yesterday with pain shooting down my lower back and legs. There's no excuse for cheap pillows and mattresses if you're going to charge this much. And we had a suite! It's like they're happy taking the *** $ but not meeting our expectations with that money. Other places to stay are much nicer. But on a positive note, the staff are absolutely incredible. They were always so friendly and helpful. I just wish that we had a better experience with the rooms.

Excellent location, one side is the port and other side is the beach. Near Santa Catalina square with many restaurants and cafes. Negative is the location of the Reception. First floor and use of stairs. Elevator is not so accessible

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, and having a parking area for the car was a big advantage. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the facilities were well maintained. The only disappointment was the breakfast. In our opinion, the quality did not match the price. We had breakfast at the hotel on the first day, but on the following days we chose to have breakfast in the city instead, as the hotel breakfast quality was not very good. Overall, despite this issue, we were satisfied with our stay.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, 10 minutes from a beach area with many restaurants and shops. I mean, the food is good and varied, but it tends to be highly processed and therefore heavy on sauces, spices, and oil, which limits the choice for those who prefer simple dishes. The rooms are nice and clean, and due to a problem with the shower glass, a technician came to fix it within a few hours. The selection of drinks at the bar can be interesting for those who drink alcohol, which costs more than soft drinks. The soft drinks, in fact, are mostly juices and mixes with supermarket items. Let me explain: the cocktails are good, but the juice is made with tea powder or is the low-cost kind. If you're expecting juices or drinks with fruit in them, you won't find them. Breakfast, on the other hand, is very varied and can satisfy your needs in a healthier way than lunch and dinner. Even here, however, the juices and hot drinks are powders mixed with water. The coffee is good, but it's not coffee like it's made in Italy...
