The Royal International Leipzig provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Leipzig will find that the Royal International Leipzig is a fantastic accommodation choice. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Leipzig Main Station located approximately 400m away and Leipzig/Halle Airport roughly 20km away. Famous local attractions Leipzig Museum of Fine Arts, Forum of Contemporary History Leipzig and Schumannhaus, can all be reached with a short walk. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.
"Stayed at this hotel for the third time, the location, the view outside the window, the breakfast, were great.
But this time it was a bit disappointing. I don't know why the front desk lady said that I can't see the payment information, and insisted on letting me swipe the credit card to guarantee. I firmly disagree. The room was booked two weeks ago, how could the store have no payment information. If I pay for the second time, do I solve the refund again. Moreover, this lady has a speechless attitude, and she has a word repeatedly, leaving a credit card đš

If this problem has always existed, it is recommended that you detour, and there are actually many choices for the surrounding hotels. If you encounter such a front desk, it will be very troublesome. I showed her the confirmation number of Trip.com. She said that she could not understand Chinese. Ctrip customer service emailed them, and the front desk said that there was no phone call.
Fortunately, I speak German, and I will not give her credit cards, and I will argue with the rest of them to solve the problem."

HHEEYEONI made a reservation on the same day and used it, but the facilities were very clean and the location was right next to the station, so I was very satisfied. The price was expensive because it was a same-day reservation, so I would be willing to visit again if it was cheaper.

Ssalvalasilvia The hotel is close to the railway station and the city centre. After checking in you can receive tickets for the city transport service.
Every important monument is walking distance and the city is lovely.
The staff, especially at reception, is lovely.
There are also check-in machines that will help you register and will print your key cards.
Iâm not a fan of carpet but the room was perfectly clean with a nice bathroom. The bathroom was tiny but with all that was needed.
Thereâs also a nice luggage rack, unfortunately only one in a room for two, but itâs spacious.
We appreciated the complimentary waters.

GGuest UserThe front desk had a very average attitude. When I asked her for disposable slippers (hotels in Germany don't provide them proactively, but if you need them, just let the front desk know and they will provide them), she replied with a poker face: âWe don't have them.â I asked three times, and she gave the same answer three times. Finally, after repeated communication, I called a colleague to send a pair.
The room is modern and simple, and it's OK. But, 1. There is no table. 2. There is no electric kettle

GGuest UserNot a great experience overall. Location is not directly off any public transportation line so bear in mind lugging luggage on cobblestone can be very taxing. Service was slow at check-in. Only one staff was there in the evening, and a short queue formed to check-in while waiting for the staff to get off the phone. At check-in, room was automatically assigned via iPad, which was not a courtyard view as advertised on Trip.com, but rather a view of the garbage dump (from room 101). Went back down to ask for a change of room, and 45 frustrating minutes later, the front desk said it was because of the room category and âoffered to upgradeâ for 20 euros additional per night. After travelling for a long time, I didnât want to waste any more time with a back and forth as to why Trip.com advertised a courtyard view, and the hotel gave me a garbage dump view instead, so I obliged. The new room however, was much better with a view of the Thomaskirche opposite, a lot more internal space, and a mini kitchenette.

AAnonymous UserWe stayed in a suite for 4 people. The bathroom and separate toilet are perfectly adequate. However, there are not enough power outlets in the bathroom and there are not enough in the room itself. The breakfast buffet was delicious, varied and fresh. There were only a few places to sit if you go for breakfast during peak times.

RRPSMThe INNSiDE Leipzig enjoys an excellent location, tucked neatly between the historic market square, the old town, and a more contemporary quarter brimming with restaurants and cafĂ©s. Itâs a strong base for exploring the city on foot, whether your interest lies in culture, shopping, or dining.
We didnât opt for the hotel breakfast, and honestly, thereâs no need to. The surrounding area offers plenty of breakfast options. That said, quality varies â a few places are solid, while others are best avoided, so a bit of online scouting is advisable.
The hotel itself is functional and in good repair. Itâs clean, straightforward, and unpretentious â not luxurious, but not run-down either. One design choice I could do without is the glass-walled showers. Theyâre the fully transparent sort, which lack privacy and seem more decorative than practical. A door wouldnât go amiss.
Air conditioning is adequate but not strong. During our June visit it was just sufficient. If youâre visiting during a hotter spell â say, in August â you might find it underwhelming. That said, Leipzig isnât known for oppressive heat.
We parked in a nearby public parking facility for âŹ20 per day. Itâs a short walk from the hotel and, in our view, the more sensible choice compared to the hotelâs own parking offering.
Stay here for the location and cleanliness. Skip the breakfast, be ready for the odd bathroom layout, and use public parking. Itâs a solid, no-frills choice â just donât expect charm or luxury.

GGuest UserA great hotel in the pedestrian zone. Parking behind it in the public car park, it was about 12 Euros. Up to the hotel and pleasantly surprised at the location, itâs modern and nice decor. Everything worked perfectly in our standard courtyard room. Staff were friendly and nice. The breakfast was perfect. Free tea and coffee was appreciated.
We liked staying there so much that we are planning to return on holiday.

Wonderful receptionist on Sat and Sunday morning who was so helpful!
We managed to check in early(not guaranteed)and the room was lovely and comfortable.
The parking garage for our hire car worked well and we left it when we got the tram into town.
Cannot fault the breakfast at all and just generally all the service we received.
Nothing not to like except I miss a tea/coffee tray but maybe this isnât something that happens in bc Grr we nan hotels.
Donât hesitateâŠ.value for money!

1. Self Check-in Automat is very self-conscious, presents as birth year 2008 and cannot be corrected.
All data already entered during the booking are not automatically available, but must be entered again.
2. Door closed without function, good half hour waiting for housemaster.
There are left-hand telephone slips before reaching the hotline/noise number, I don't understand this under an emergency number.
It would have been better to provide an alternative room immediately.
3. No invoice corresponding to the booking / the amount paid. (Invoice amount is 20% lower than the invoice amount. What is that for a booking / you could also use the word fraud and/or tax evasion.
As a business traveler, this is a whole disaster
Conclusion:
as a business traveler, the hotel is completely inappropriate
