Hotels with Breakfast in Xichang

Fantastic hotel with polite, attentive staff. The view from the room is really nice and the hotel has a nice tranquil feel to it. Outside the hotel there's a few restaurants, bubble tea shops and a convenience store. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and big bath. The mini fridge was restocked daily with sparkling water, Costa coffee and beer. The breakfast was very tasty and although it was a set menu, there's plenty of choice and the menu was rotated between two options so you didn't end up with the same breakfast daily. There's clothes washing facilities on site with complimentary detergent and softener, which is great for us (we like to travel light). Overall a 5/5. If I had to be picky, my only issue is that I never did work out how to open the voice controlled curtains.

Good location, close to Dashiban Village, parking lot, convenient to drive to various attractions, garden design is very good, small bridges and flowing water, good environment. The front desk lady upgraded the room type, the suite is very comfortable, the room is big enough, there is a balcony, dry and wet separation, especially the rocking chair, very comfortable. The toiletries are disposable. We both drink tea and put more water for us. There are 2 sinks, which are convenient to use. Breakfast is ok. The only downside is the smart toilet, which is noisy. I asked the front desk, that's it, okay, I can bear it. The toilet paper is good. Overall good.

(Since the two days were booked in two separate orders, I'm just copying the review from the previous day.) Last year, my best friend and I stayed at the Heyue Hotel when we visited Xichang, and we loved it. So this year, my husband and I chose Heyue again. The rooms at Heyue are elegant and cozy. I especially liked the rooms with courtyards, where we could quietly enjoy tea and conversation in the afternoon. The breakfast was fantastic—a wide variety of delicious options; I wanted to try everything, but my stomach couldn't hold it all. Also, Heyue has very spacious public areas. Besides the front and back gardens and the central courtyard garden, there's a large tea room where you can read. They gave us a souvenir when we left, and thoughtfully provided bottled water for our journey. I'll definitely stay at Heyue again next time I'm in Xichang.

I went back to the hotel lobby late with my friends. I had two uncles (should be staff from other departments of the hotel). I asked to wait for two minutes. The front desk was in the toilet. I didn’t have a hurry and waited for a minute. The uncle was very enthusiastic and poured water. The room was not full the day before and the room type was upgraded very intimately. I also often live in hotels under the Huazhu Club on business trips. Hanting in Xiaoshan, Mercure in Chengdu Xindu, and the whole season in Tianjin Binhai are the most intimate and warm. The stay experience is very good and the staff is very lively. The only downside is that the hair dryer of Huazhuhui is not very easy to use (this is a flaw), many hotels are equipped with high-speed hair dryers, I hope it can be used in the future. Overall praise (￣▽￣)~*

Facilities: relatively new Hygienic: very clean and very good. Environment: The environment is also good. Service: The service is very good. The hotel basement has a slow charge, 30 yuan a time, the tram 🚃 is very convenient and very good.

More like a resort than hotel. Huge private property really easy to get into and parking outside or underground. Outdoor restaurants, beautiful pool, several restaurants on the premises. Professional, welcoming, staff go out of their way to help with anything. Room super spacious and clean as a whistle. I stayed two nights earlier at Holiday Inn and it was an absolute filthy dump. The Clarion was Five out of Five in every category and just about the same price as the Holiday Inn. Don’t even need to think about it - Clarion for sure

Every time I go back to Xichang, I will bring my children to stay here. It is very convenient to eat and play. Tangyuan Commercial Street is downstairs. The room is very satisfactory. The location is very good. The view is very good. The hotel is very cost-effective for off-peak travel. The breakfast that my mother took the children to eat was average, but when we arrived in Xichang, any rice noodles were delicious. As a Liangshan native, I always try the Mianning BBQ restaurant downstairs on the left side of the hotel.

My stay here was absolutely perfect! The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to various transportation options, especially bus stops, making sightseeing and commuting a breeze. The room was deep cleaned daily, spotless with no water stains, which made me feel very secure about the hygiene. All the in-room amenities were comprehensive, and the equipment was brand new and fully functional. The entire staff was genuinely friendly and highly efficient. The breakfast buffet offered a balanced and nutritious spread with fresh ingredients and mild, pleasant flavors. The hotel also features a well-equipped fitness area and a self-service laundry room. The gym had a good variety of equipment, and the laundry facilities were simple to operate, which is super convenient for both short and long-term travelers. The overall atmosphere was serene and elegant. Everything – from the location and dining to the service and facilities – exceeded my expectations. This is definitely a place I'd happily stay at again and again.

I came to Xichang for a marathon and booked this hotel in advance. The location is excellent, right behind Wanda Plaza. Within 500 meters, there are all sorts of great restaurants. In the evenings, you can also walk to Tangyuan for a stroll. The hotel is about 2 kilometers from the marathon starting line, so walking there in the morning served as a good warm-up. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. When they heard I was running the marathon, they were especially enthusiastic. The hotel even prepared breakfast for us participants ahead of time. The rooms are spacious, facilities are quite new, and the decor is good. It's clean and hygienic, no issues there. There's a smart TV and a smart toilet. On the eighth floor, there's a well-equipped laundry room and gym, both of which I used. What's a bit quirky is that the lobby for Datang and the Ji Hotel are combined. You can't tell from the outside; you have to walk through the Ji Hotel's lobby to find it.

My grandson declared before his school even broke up that he wanted to go on a trip with his grandparents during the summer holiday. To fulfill his request, we thought long and hard and decided on a relaxing few days in Xichang, which boasts the lakeside Qionghai and Lushan Mountain, a pleasant climate that's warm in winter and cool in summer, and even a Space City experience that kids love… I compared two hotels on Trip.com that were closest to Qionghai Lake (Qionghai Hotel and Qionghai Bay Park Hyatt Hotel), both old five-star establishments. After careful consideration, I booked a main building lake-view twin room at Qionghai Bay Park Hyatt Hotel for four nights and five days (July 3rd to 7th). After school finished, my grandson, my wife, and I traveled from Chengdu East to Xichang West by high-speed train, a 3.5-hour journey. We picked up the rental car my son booked on Trip.com and drove to Qionghai Bay Park Hyatt Hotel by Qionghai Lake, beginning our 5-day trip to Xichang… We stayed at the Park Hyatt for 5 days and 4 nights and also visited Qionghai Hotel. Firstly, I much preferred the ambiance of the Park Hyatt Hotel. Although Qionghai Hotel has a larger area and lovely greenery, and even peacocks roaming the grounds, its location closer to the city center makes it a bit more bustling compared to the tranquil atmosphere of the Park Hyatt. The water quality of Qionghai Lake in general is also inferior to the section by the Park Hyatt. The coastline here is more pristine and natural, with lush trees swaying in the breeze. Strolling through the woods and along the sandy beach, playing in the shallow water, taking a nap, jogging or cycling on the path, and swimming in the pool – it’s all much more enjoyable! Secondly, while Qionghai Hotel's architecture is indeed stylish and grand, I personally prefer the Southeast Asian style of the Park Hyatt Hotel, which is tucked away in the woods by Qionghai Bay, intermittently revealing a seaside vibe around the lake… No more rambling, let's get to the practical points: First, although the hotel has been open for over a decade, the architecture and facilities are well-maintained. The room facilities don't look old at all, and the Southeast Asian-style ceiling fan is convenient and comfortable to use. Second, the service attitude and cleanliness are thorough and responsible. Third, the breakfast is rich, healthy, and hygienic. Fourth, the pool water is clean. Overall, staying at the Park Hyatt Hotel with my grandson for 5 days and 4 nights was a good experience, and I discussed the few minor issues with the front desk.
