Five pairs of good friends all have the same ideas and opinions, so we hope to bring the most beautiful side of Penghu with our passion and ideal. We also want to share the truth, goodness and beauty of Penghu with travelers from all over the world.We are located in the "Xiwei Community", about 15-20 minutes drive from Magong Airport, 10-15 minutes from Magong Port Wharf, and 5 minutes by motorbike to reach the downtown of Magong city, and also 5 to 10 minutes to the Guanyin Pavilion for the fireworks festival every year. The transportation is very convenient, about 3 minutes walk to 7-11 and grocery stores nearby, so you don't need to worry in the middle of the night!
"The owner of the homestay intimately and enthusiastically provides our environmental services and facilities. The room is small and clever, clean and comfortable. The room style is very healing. The bed is very comfortable and sleeps well. The breakfast is Zhongji sesame cake is super delicious. The rich onion egg smoked chicken and black tea soy milk are also very delicious but sweet. Sea blue is recommended"

But it was nice to be close to the beach.
The hostel was very clean and the facilities were very well maintained.
The breakfast menu was delicious, I could choose the day before.
The boss and wife of the hotel did their best for our trip.
He called me a taxi, recommended a restaurant, and he found out the fireworks.
My family wants to travel here for the next peacetime.

The room was luxurious and spacious with a very cool retro style. The bathroom was fabulous with a massive bathtub.

盺盺潼From the first day I stepped in, I couldn't help but share. The welcome drink was a huge plus, a service usually only found in hotels. The air conditioning in the room was already on for a long time (very cool), and the refrigerator even had a generous amount of cactus vinegar. The breakfast was also very thoughtful, featuring popular local Penghu dishes that changed daily. Every evening they would ask what time we wanted breakfast the next day, and to keep the ingredients warm, the meals were freshly prepared, always with three kinds of fruit. Even for a 3-year-old, they prepared a special children's meal. Each room was equipped with a capsule coffee machine and a Dyson hairdryer, and the rooms were very well-lit. The room smelled wonderful as soon as you entered; they had pre-sold essential oils. They even provided a relaxing herbal bath sachet for sleep, showing great attention to detail. The double bed was also king-size, so it wasn't cramped at all for two adults and one child. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet with a bidet toilet, and they also provided... The hotel has both hot and cold dryers (international brand), making it super convenient to wash swimsuits – they're dry the next day! The room is elegantly decorated (with paintings), and the elevator is completely transparent, which kids will love. There's a spa pool on the rooftop with temperature-controlled (warm water) for massages. In the evenings, the guesthouse provides lychee soda drinks to enjoy the night view – they're beautiful, delicious, and perfect for taking photos. After your soak, you can shower next to the pool with hot and cold water. There are also two beach chairs on the viewing platform. The spa pool is by reservation only, ensuring the quality and privacy of each room. In addition to the spa, the rooftop also has a space for board games with sofas and tables. The sofas are reclined, but there's no air conditioning. The atmosphere is really great when the lights are on at night, and the night view makes it perfect for a proposal. In short, I highly recommend staying here for a night when you visit Penghu. It's super convenient for watching fireworks, and the owner is very nice.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, the homestay in the old street is very style, the environment is very comfortable, but the prescribed check-out time is too early and it is not convenient, but at least the luggage can be stored in the lobby. The room was very clean, the sound insulation was ordinary, and it was all luck to be noisy.

CClymene LimThoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March).
Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks.
Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing.
Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.
Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for. There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue.
Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)

CChidori21I don't think I've ever stayed at a hostel more perfect than this.
Personal lockers were well-prepared, and best of all, it was very convenient to have showers and bathrooms in every room rather than shared ones.
The staff were friendly and gave great tips on travel and recommended restaurants.
For breakfast, there is a famous Shaobing restaurant (鍾記燒餅) within a 10-minute walk.
Since they don't offer currency exchange, I exchanged my money at the nearby Four Points Hotel using my credit card, paying a 10% fee. Make sure to exchange your money well in advance.

The front desk staff are very friendly, and the complimentary airport shuttle service is a thoughtful touch. The breakfast selection is plentiful, and I highly recommend staying here!
