GGuest UserThe location is far from the center, so convenience stores and restaurants are far away. But it was nice to be close to the beach. The hostel was very clean and the facilities were very well maintained. The breakfast menu was delicious, I could choose the day before. The boss and wife of the hotel did their best for our trip. He called me a taxi, recommended a restaurant, and he found out the fireworks. My family wants to travel here for the next peacetime.

CClymene LimThoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sun Palm B&B. Have written this review in English, but we communicated with them in Chinese. We stayed at this B&B during the tourism off-peak season (March). Service - Amazing. They were very responsive on Line, and quick to reply. They were also helpful with our requests/questions (e.g. fetching service to and fro airport, car rental service, traffic road conditions in Penghu) and were polite. They also gave some advice on what can or cannot be done (e.g. we wanted to cycle around Penghu, but they advised us saying Penghu was too big to travel on a bicycle). The driver was always punctual when picking us up, and when sending us to the airport. In fact, he was already there, with the car ready, minutes before we were supposed to leave for the airport - we didn't even need to remind them. The lady boss was very friendly - when we first arrived, she asked if we were new to Penghu (it was our first time), and she introduced where to explore in Penghu, and what to eat. She also told us that if we wanted to do water activities, we can approach them, and they can make a check with the centres to see if they are open since it was off-peak season for tourist activities. We also had some extra request regarding the check out timing, and she helped us with it too. Before we arrived, they also tested the car we wanted to rent, and upon finding out that it wasn't working as well, they provided us with another car instead - this is certainly good service. They also cleaned up the room upon request, and re-stocked the fridge with drinks. Food - The breakfast was amazing and fresh (see photos). On the first day we had bread + doughstick + egg with spring onion all in one package. It was delicious. On the second day, we had vermicelli and seafood (e.g. squid, prawns). The seafood was really fresh, and the broth was simple and tasty. Each dish was accompanied by fresh fruits / pastry + drink, which was refreshing. Room - We got the Starry Honeymoon Room. It was very spacious, the room was clean, the amenities were in good condition, and the overall design was aesthetically pleasing. The heart pillow on the bed was a cute addition, and the round bed was big enough for 2 of us. Above the bed there was a window covered with a retractable screen - you can actually look into the sky while lying on the bed, really interesting.  Location - While this B&B is further away from the main city, we didn't feel that affected as they provided airport transfer services. Also, we felt that it being away from the hustle and bustle from the city was actually advantageous, as the B&B's location had a more relaxed, quiet, holiday vibes, which was what we were looking for.  There is a 7-11 around 10 minutes from the B&B, so if you need food etc in the middle of the night, you can get it from there. We rented a car, so travelling to other areas wasn't much of an issue. Overall, I will recommend this B&B to anyone looking to tour Penghu! Am glad to have chosen this B&B for our first ever trip to Penghu :)

However, the clams and oysters in the crab pot are not very fresh and plump. The breakfast is delicious. It is convenient to have airport shuttle and umbrella rental. Disadvantages: The bathroom and room carpets are not very clean. The bathroom smells like urine and there are white hairs and dust in some places on the carpet. In addition, sending a letter to the hotel to confirm the demand can be provided but not done. The restaurant service delivery is missing one dish and the checkout is calculated incorrectly. The accuracy of the service needs to be improved, so you need to pay attention to the feedback.

NNelsonThe place was immaculate. For the most part, the experience was terrific. What follows are minor issues. There was a slight issue with the water heater, which resolved itself after a short time. Fortunately, the weather was warm, so it wasn't a serious issue. The breakfast was simple, basically a large sandwich, rather than the continental-style breakfasts that people might expect. The rooms were accessed by stairs, so I doubt they are wheelchair accessible. Wifi was excellent, although one had to find the password at the front desk, or on the router itself (just an oversight in me not asking for it, I'm sure). Finding this B&B among all the other B&Bs in the area is tricky; the cab driver had to call the owner to find it. Google Maps is very useful, especially with all the unnamed streets in the area. The facility is located next to National Penghu University of Science and Technology.
