FFabien RThe jungle-themed decor is quite lovely, and the room is nice. The staff are helpful. It's very well located, 15 minutes from the Grand Place and a 45-minute walk from Gare du Midi. The breakfast was excellent and served in a beautiful dining room. I couldn't find any faults.

GGuest UserThe hotel has perfect location! It is just several minutes to Grand Palace. Superior double room was quite spacious, clean, and well equipped. The only downsize is that the walls might be too thin and noise of neighbors might come if they’re loud. Breakfast was absolutely stanning and definitely worth 12 EUR compared to cafes in Brussels where you can hardly get breakfast for that price. To sum up, the hopel is perfect option for the price you’re paying.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is great, right near a subway station, and it's an easy 10-15 minute walk to Grand Place. The surrounding area felt safe, and there's a shopping mall nearby. We booked a family room for three. We dropped off our luggage first, and by the time we checked in, they had already set up the sofa bed for us. Although, according to my friend, the extended sofa bed wasn't very comfortable to sleep on. They also prepared amenities for three people. Overall, everything was good, except for an uneven transition between the bathroom and the room, which made it very easy to trip. The soundproofing was excellent; we didn't hear any footsteps or other noises. Each floor of the hotel has a dedicated water dispenser where you can get still water, sparkling water, and warm water.

KKelaiasyncThe Standard Hotel in Brussels is located in the Northern Quarter, an area characterized by government buildings, offices, and a large number of 60s and 70s office blocks, making it sparsely populated. The hotel cleverly utilizes this somewhat cold, stark modernist urban backdrop by injecting color, warmth, abundant greenery, and local Brussels creative culture. The interiors were designed by Belgian architect Bernard Dubois. He masterfully blends design languages from different periods of the 20th century: from Art Deco, American and Belgian modernism, to postmodernism and the 80s. Warm wood finishes, 1930s-style carpets, and circular and arched structures are interspersed throughout, creating a retro yet timelessly chic look. The hotel also showcases numerous works by local Belgian artists. The most prominent piece at the entrance is Jan Janssens' ceramic sculpture, 'The Dance.' Jan often explores the human position within urban systems through figures and giant city architecture. 🙋🏾♀️One pro: It's absolutely beautiful! 😌One con: It's in a business district, so there aren't many restaurants or supermarkets nearby, which can be a bit inconvenient at night.

JJoe the world citizenIt is a new hotel next to Brussels-Midi station. The decor is very modern. The staffs are super friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed it. They have a small cafe in the lobby and there are many place to hang out. There is also a small gym in the basement which is quite nice. Overall, it was a good stay.

HHuaxianzijunThis is an older hotel with a rich sense of history. The location is excellent, very close to the train station, and the Grand Place is also within walking distance. Our room had a street view. Brussels was our last stop in Europe, and generally, European hotel rooms tend to be small, but this hotel's room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was also very large. The slippers were very comfortable. We had an early flight, so we didn't get to try the hotel breakfast.

GGuest UserThe location is super convenient, right in the city center, with a Carrefour downstairs and a large square just steps away. The room is quite spacious for European standards, a one-bedroom apartment, very roomy, and it has air conditioning, which is crucial for summer in Europe. Some reviews mentioned it was noisy, but we found it to be fine; it was completely quiet at night. The minibar was well-stocked, even with alcohol, and everything was complimentary, which was a definite plus!

JJoe the world citizenThe hotel is very nice and modern. The staffs are helpful and friendly. The room is spacious and clean. The only problem is the location. It is not located in the touristy area. There is no easy public transportation to the grand place except by bus or taxi/uber. Walking to grand place takes around 30 mins passing through Brussels Park and Royal Palace. The positive point is that the area where the hotel is located is very quiet.

ZZhuyuxixiThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right near Brussels' Grand Place – literally a two-minute walk away. There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby, making it super convenient. The room itself was surprisingly spacious, which is a rare find in Europe, and the facilities were great. Having a kettle was a huge plus for us. We stayed for two nights, and the steak restaurant directly across from the hotel entrance was amazing – delicious and not expensive, so it was incredibly convenient to grab a meal right outside. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and I highly recommend it!
