"Excellent hotel! The room inside is small, but everything is very comfortable. Outside there is a large balcony with large benches and a chic wooden table. A nice large swimming pool. Restaurant on the seashore. Breakfasts with a stunning view charge you for the whole day! Lots of toys for a child to play on the wide beach. There are corals and fish nearby"

"Hotel was gorgeous. Pool was right on the beach with a pool bar. Hotel room was clean and spacious. Location is perfect right in the centre close to shops and restaurants. Only downside is it was a bit noisy at night."

"There is so much to say but I will try to be as concise as possible. Ecotao Lodge is a piece of heaven. The hotel is superb, the whole idea that is an ecological establishment run by a family it makes it all worthwhile. The hotel is simple and yet mesmerising. It is very green, the swimming pool area is breathtaking with views to nature and the sea. My husband and I went to Koh Tao for 3 days so we booked two nights at Ecotao Lodge. We decided to treat ourselves so we went for the suite. When we were taken to our room, we spent at least 30 minutes just sitting there in the balcony and bed, looking at the sea. The view was one of the best I have had the opportunity to see. The room was immaculate and with all the commodities one need. We were provided with hand made shower gel, shampoo and conditioner! It is incredible that this hotel has been open only since December 2019. Yves, the owner, runs the hotel along with his friend and staff. What a wonderful man, passionate about the service he offers, always with a smile. Chris, his friend, always there greeting you in the mornings also with a genuine interest to make sure you are well. The staff are so lovely, smiling all the time with the Thai attitude that is so warm about them. As I said, we were there for two nights... Initially that is. After our first night, we were so in love with the place, the atmosphere and the service that we decided to extend our stay for 4 more nights. I could have stayed even more to be honest but sadly I had to carry on with my travelling plans. Yves, Chris and his staff made us feel like a family! I can't wait to go back next year, even for a few days to stay in this little paradise. Bt the way... The food they serve!!!! OMG!!! It is succulent, balanced, fresh... It is just the best. Loved so many dishes I tried but I couldn't let a day pass without having the spring rolls! Hehehehe. Thank you Yves, Chris and your lovely staff (I feel so bad I forgot their names, they were all outstanding). "

"The hotel is nice in general, the location is also quite convenient. It is located up the hill thou but the view is amazing! They have shuttle bus to take you around the island if you need it. But if you rent the bike, the location is not a problem at all. It might look a bit old, but I didn’t mind it. The stuff is super friendly and helpful. The food is just okay. We loved our stay there."

"Despite the fact that the hotel has been recently renovated it feels like it needs to be renovated again. The bedroom is ok, but the bathroom... The shower is not separated from the main bathroom and everything is always in the water. The light in the room is disgusting and dark. The air conditioning system is terribly noisy and old and the air is too damp and cold. The main building is next to the pool and during work hours there is a loud sound that can be heard in the room. The higher the room is located, the more beautiful the view is. The view alone makes it worth coming. Delicious and varied breakfast (omelet 5 stars)."

"It was amazing time in Lub D hotel in Koh Tao. Super friendly staff provided support on every step: transfer from and to pier, new and clean rooms, very good breakfasts, every day some interesting entertainment, swimming pool, snorkeling, kayaking, diving, etc. Tanote bay is tropical paradise. Amazing snorkeling starts immediately when you step in water. Also you can find several good restaurants on the beach with affordable prices. Only one disadvantage - always not enough days in this lovely place."

"Stayed here in the chalet for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful with getting taxis in and out of town. The beach is really clean and the water was nice and clear for snorkeling. Food at the bar was very nice and reasonably priced. One thing to note is if you rent a bike and you're unexperienced take it VERY slow on the hills getting to the resort especially at night they can be dangerous. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others."

"Beautiful hotel all rooms can see sun set and amazing view, large room, Hotel located on the hill at Tao Thong bay good place to stay if u not prefer crowded area. If u want to go Sairee beach it’s about 10-15 mins by taxi or motor bike. Reception team very helpful and fast response for all my requirements. Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"I stayed here for two days in Koh Tao ten years ago and was impressed, so I chose this place again this time. Advantages: halfway up the mountain, very quiet, unbeatable balcony view, family room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, spacious room. Disadvantages: the water heater needs to be turned on by the air conditioner and it is slow to heat up, the location is slightly off, the slope at the entrance is very steep, climbing up and down is very tiring, but it is also an interesting experience, and the hotel takes too long to serve the food. An extra quilt costs 200 pigs."

"We stayed in a beachfront villa and a twin garden view. The overall space inside the house is not big, a bit small, and the facilities are relatively simple. The layout of the beachfront villa is unreasonable, but the beachfront and overall environment of the resort are very good, and the service staff are also very friendly. It is a quiet resort in Koh Tao, very suitable for lying down. I will consider choosing this resort next time I come to Koh Tao. The facilities are particularly complete, with swings and hammocks. The children had a lot of fun, and the children got along well with their staff."
