Residence Inn Boston Downtown/South End

We’re loyal Marriott Bonvoy members and have stayed at all their branded hotel chains. Our stay here exceeded my expectations. Although the (newish) hotel is a little south of the city center, and not in the best area, we felt safe walking about during the day. The hotel is about a mile from the MFA and Gardiner museums. There’s a bus stop just outside the hotel too, which makes it easy to use public transport to navigate the city. The front desk and dining room staff were exceptionally nice, professional, and accommodating. One morning, I observed the kitchen staff going above and beyond to assist a guest who made a special request. The rooms were impeccably clean and well designed. We loved the big shower! My pet peeve is hotel rooms that don’t have well designed window treatments, so a ribbon of sunlight shines through the edge of the window covering and wakes you up in the morning. I was impressed that our room had special light blockers along the edge of the window frame so this wouldn’t happen. You can tell someone thought of the traveler’s needs when designing the room. All in all, this is a very nice hotel and one in which I will stay in the next time we travel to Boston.
Residence Inn by Marriott Boston Harbor on Tudor Wharf

Overall decent clean hotel and great location but we had some issues with service which is why we only gave 3 stars. Parking on website is misleading. It states they have valet for $50 and park yourself for $20. What they dont tell you is if you park yourself its only for 4 hours, totally misleading. We parked in municipal lot, no in/out privileges for $34 per night. When we talked to front desk about misleading parking they simply said that's the way it is Got there first night and asked for an extra pillow. Told they would bring it up. After waiting 2 hours called front desk and they answered by saying hello we dont have any extra pillows. I asked if they were going to tell me that and they told me they just realized it. Not good service. Housekeeping every other day only. They knocked on our door at 830 in the morning. We asked that they come bcak later. We came back to room at 6pm to find they never came back. Breakfast was ok, but it was free. Shout out to the staff who handled breakfsst, they worked hard to keep everyone fed and kept the place super clean. 24 hour coffee was good but also empty several times during our stay and simply removed and not replaced. No dish soap provided for kitchenette. We would likely stay here again for the rate knowing that service might not be perfect.
Residence Inn Boston Back Bay/Fenway

Fenway Kenmore
The room is very large, with a large bed + a sofa folding bed, including a dining area, where you can make some food yourself. The hotel is close to the FENWAY PARK baseball stadium, which can be reached in a few minutes' walk. There are buses and subways around, as well as supermarkets and restaurants. , quite convenient. However, a building is being built behind the hotel, which is a bit noisy. It is so close that I dare not open the curtains. The hotel includes breakfast. Although it is relatively simple, it is still no problem to eat enough. It's relatively close to Boston University, just over 10 minutes' walk. The hotel costs more than 220 dollars per night, which is very expensive, especially when there are baseball games on weekends, so the price/performance ratio is a bit low.
