I appreciate the staff, especially the assistant manager KANE for his assistance and the excellant housekeeping staff.
However I do have 2 issues that may motivate me to find another accommodation for my next visit.
1. The Monterey building is perhaps the worst place ever to sleep. It is a pure echo chamber. Imagine each and every door is closed multiple times per night with a thunderous slamming that echoes thru out the building.
The management could employ a simple fix by installing proper damping door closer or weather stripping in the door jams.
Believe the majority of guest simply bypass the small sign in the hallway asking not to “bang” doors, without reading it or adhering to the request.
2. The breakfast which is included with room reservation is extremely poorly managed as it felt like a herd of animals be moved from one stall to the next.
45 minutes to stand in line only to be greeted by the same exact 7 choices everyday, not including waiting for clean plates or glasses for 10 minutes at times.
And that does not include themassive amounts of flies that great you in the cramped dining room.

Our room look too old. No hot shower .the aircon bad bad . Shower room get flood wont drain rightaway . There a water near in my bed side becuz of the shower room but the buffet is good .
