The staff were excellent. Very friendly and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had booked the family room but staff were worried about the noise from nearby construction so moved us into 2 separate rooms which was great for my sister and I. If you had children that could have been a problem.

The hotel is cute, the territory is beautiful, the sea is nearby, it is better to go to Divinid beach (there is a turtle swimming there, you can see it well in a mask), it is closer, in my opinion. You need to walk to the rest. There is a large market nearby - Robinson. They upgraded the room level for free - this is a plus, the room is cozy, a living room and a bedroom, but the hot water pressure is weak and you need to wait until it warms up. Breakfasts from the menu are delicious. The staff is friendly, they called a tuk-tuk to the port (inexpensive). Then I myself, everything is simple there: you pay the port fee, buy a ticket, it immediately with a tricycle to the airport. In total, the tuk-tuk cost 560 pesos.
On a residential street, that is, nearby local houses and a small cemetery - did not bother me at all)
Before this I was in Garden Paradise, and I don't even know where it is better. It is quieter and calmer here, but more modest, in terms of volumes

Excellent quiet hotel at the beginning of the first station. The location is super. One minute to the beach. 5 minutes to the right and you are on the small Diniwid beach. 10-15 minutes to the left along the beach and you are in the center of the party at the second station👍
The service in the hotel is excellent, a wonderful tasty breakfast. You can also have lunch and dinner at good prices. The rooms are huge, clean and comfortable. And I repeat, peace and quiet❤️

Crazy place, very friendly staff, until you really ask something, then they have trouble following you. Even though they do their best. Although quite a bit is left behind that the staff does not clean up, while there are hardly any guests during my stay.
The portions from the kitchen are immensely large. Bizarrely exaggerated. In response to why it has to be so much, they apparently cannot cook in smaller portions. Incomprehensible. The Pinot Grigio is tasty, but quite expensive. Plus the staff does not understand how to serve wine, although this is a general 'problem' within the Philippines. Price-quality: big ass no-no.

It was a resort I had high expectations for, but the expectations were too high, so the facilities were old and the cleanliness was disappointing. On the terrace of the adjacent room, smoking, drinking, and talking all night long, I had to bear it. If you smoke a cigarette next to you, all the smoke enters the room. The staff are friendly. There is not much to eat for breakfast. The restaurant dinner menu was pretty good.

My husband and I had a wonderful 10 day stay at The Strand. It is beautiful and comfortable. The staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful and so much fun. The food was delicious. The bed was comfy and the pool stunning. Special thanks to Rob, Ped, Stephanie and Alice for all of your kind attention. Highly recommend. We also sailed for 3 hours on Masboi 4 with Edgar and loved that day out on the water. Wonderful, memorable trip!
