Wilde Aparthotels Berlin Checkpoint Charlie

We had a super stay at Wilde Berlin . A large two bed apartment with a good view of the large balloon and city . A discrete entrance . Great location. Close to Check point Charlie and Supermarket Rewe . Great location for exploring . The apartment was quiet. We had to ask for a few things we were missing but it was rectified,with a gift of a bottle of red ! Thank you

This complex is in a super location with everything you need on your doorstep. We stayed here as a group of 4 friends running the half marathon. It was walking distance to the start and finish at Brandonburg Gate. We booked the two bed room apartment. It was great value and had everything we could need and more. Nice touch with all the Irish made products and pictures Check in and check out was super easy and friendly. We will definitely be back and will be looking out for Wilde Aparthotels in any other cities we visit.

Lovely clean apartments. Great size with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Having a tv in each room was great and being able to watch Netflix in the evening was perfect for us. The bathrooms were a good size with walk in shower and the toiletries provided were good quality. The location was perfect for visiting all the attractions. Many with walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful both prior to arrival and whilst we were there. They do not offer breakfast which would have been nice but from speaking with staff they have plans to extend and offer this facility. We would definitely return and highly recommend especially for families.

Very nice aparthotel, modern and fully equipped with kitchen and nespresso machine, kettle, fridge, dishwasher. Large space,, even if my flat, being on the 1st floor had not a nice view, just overlooking the street. Very nice and helpful Georgian young girl upon check-in, absolutely a place where coming back would a pleasure. At 3 min walking distance from Checkpoint Charlie, metro nearby. Bravo!

"Quadratisch, Praktisch, Gut". That sums up the accommodation in this aparthotel. We stayed 4 nights in room 305 in July. The mini apartment is well designed and has some nice touches. It's modern, clean and very functional. There is, however, no air conditioning and although the ceiling fans in the lounge and bedroom work, the flat was stuffy and unpleasantly warm in the Berlin summer! As there is no ventilation whatsoever, in my opinion room 305 is not a good choice for a summer break! Just be aware that temperatures in July/August often hit 30 degrees+ and not having air-conditioning is a big problem! Another negative is the one lift. It is incredibly slow and on 2 of our 4 days was out of order! Not ideal for anyone with mobility issues! We also "enjoyed" a full evacuation when the adjoining Indian restaurant set off the fire alarm! The alarms are very loud and very efficient! The aparthotel is in a good location very close to the U6 and bus stops. And alternative bus stops, U and S Bahn stations are all in reasonable walking distance. Checkpoint Charlie and the Museum of Terrors (free) are really close and some main attractions are about a 20-30 minute walk away! There are also two chain supermarkets about 5-10 minutes away. TIPS: Municipal museums/galleries and many restaurants are closed on Mondays! The farmers market on Fridays at Maybach Ufer is great for fruit, veg and fun! If you want to go shopping head to Steglitz - great new Mall, loads of local eateries and shops without tourists and a couple of good Curry Wurst kiosks, too! On the subject of food, there are many good options if you head "outside" the touristy catchment of Checkpoint Charlie - Kreuzberg, for example, is not far away by bus! SUMMARY: This aparthotel is great for a short independent stay in the cooler months! The location is good! The buses are convenient and worth checking out - accessing several parts of Berlin from this location is easier than you think by bus!
