This hotel is very pleasant. The rooms are clean and modern, even if not particularly spacious, and I enjoyed seeing and hearing the robots as they moved around the reception area into the lifts. The breakfast was superb – varied food, and lots of it. The staff were wonderful, although not much English was spoken. The location is great, being at the junction of two subway lines and the Capital Airport Express. The only possible downside was that the aircon didn’t work particularly well in the rooms, although I’m told the weather was unusually warm for the March 2025 days when I stayed.
I'm not quite sure where I should provide some comments about travelling around Beijing. It can be quite a culture challenge if, like me, it is your first visit to Beijing, and you do not speak the language. The usual approach for any visitor to a foreign country is to ask staff at your hotel, or to stop passersby, or to consult something like Google Maps. The first two of these are possible, but, in view of the lack of any widespread use of English by the Chinese, the answers provided might not be readily understood by the questioner.
This situation is not helped by the fact that the English translations of various Chinese place names can have different spellings, which makes it hard to identify where exactly any particular place is located. In addition, the Beijing subway is vast, and can take a long time to travel around. The interchange between lines can be as much as 10-15 minutes. Yet further, the subway stations themselves are massive, with sometimes as many as six exits. These are also sometimes 10 or 15 minutes walk away from each other. So there is a risk that you could emerge into the open air without really knowing where you are. For info, I attach a March 2025 photo of a plan of the Beijing subway. I suggest visitors get to know this well, taking care that you don't confuse (as happened with me!) one like-sounding station with another.
As for online maps, the great Chinese firewall makes it tricky to consult and use the Internet with any great facility. I found that it took a long time to plan any travel around the city. For instance, I wanted to visit the Marco Polo bridge, which in 1937 was the scene of a skirmish, or battle, between the Japanese and the Chinese in 1937. But could I work out how to get to this site? In a word, no. I simply could not establish the route, or how long it would take, or which suburban railway or subway line I should use. So I gave up. I suspect that it would be possible with some form of guided tour but that would need to be planned in advance. I could also have used a taxi, I suppose, except I couldn't get to grips with the ride hailing app Didi.
In summary, Beijing is a lovely place. The architecture is amazing. The people are friendly. Hotels are affordable and clean. One feels safe. Food is tasty. The culture and history is, naturally, sensational. I'm very much in favour in fostering good relations between the West and China. But western tourists should suspend your normal approach to sightseeing. Be prepared for internet restrictions, and language issues, to make it a lot harder than usual to get around or visit places. The authorities and the various travel organisations steer you towards organised tours, so maybe the best idea is to buy into this concept. Or perhaps you can get a Chinese buddy to explain things. So my advice is to visit Beijing with an open mind and be prepared to be patient, and play by the rules rather than trying to be too independent.

The room was unique - a loft-type bedroom. The bathroom is on the upstairs only, one toilet downstairs. Wifi was not working. Breakfast was quite decent, nothing to complain about. Receptionist didn't speak English but was prepared for a translator on the phone - no hassle at all during check-in and out. Can put luggage before check-in, so you don't need to bring stuff while strolling the area. Easy to reach by car but quite far from the station. It was crazy cold and we were dying walking from the station to hotel in the night. I still recommend it to everyone though!

Value for money. True to photos. Big spacious room with big two king size beds, wonderful for small families as it equipped with washing machine and fridge too. however should include a dryer especially convenient for small family.other than this all is perfect.
The location of the hotel is superb, conveniently situated right beside the train station. The hospitality was excellent, with the receptionists greeting us warmly with a smile and a cheerful ”good morning” every day. Special thanks to Auntie Yuan (袁阿姨) for her warmth and kindness. A big shoutout to 早餐阿姨 and 小杰, who went out of their way to help us with our luggage to the taxi early in the morning at 6:30 AM.
Overall, the stay was fantastic, though the soundproofing could use some improvement.

“The hotel is stunningly beautiful!”
Every space here is artistic and incredibly chill—you can take photos anywhere in the hotel.
The Art Centre showcases impressive paintings, while the European-style classic cinema adds a vintage touch. The swimming pool and spa offer a relaxing, resort-like experience.
Most notably, the top floor provides a breathtaking panoramic view of Beijing, making it a popular photoshoot spot for many celebrities.
The hotel’s location is very convenient, close to famous shopping and entertainment centers.
I will definitely come back!

Plus point : location near metro station
Towel rack dryer
Negative point: Hotel room: awkward shower head position. Unable to handsfree shower
Security observation: accessible to all visitors in building housing 2 hotels, airline office and f&b outlet, delivery meals and parcels. People lounging in comfy sofa regardless of hotel guests or non- guests.

Best hotel we have ever stayed. We have stayed many hotels around the globe. This is definitely the best. The service, cleaning, food, location are all top notch. Will definitely stay again when we are back in Beijing next time. All The receptionists are nice, polite. We arrived super early because of the flight and with two young children. They even allow us to check in earlier without extra cost. We are motel owners overseas. We know early check-in without a charge rarely happens anywhere in other countries. Thank you so much for your fantastic services.

Friendly staff, location is a bit tricky for taxis to get in and out of the tiny road. I loved the small mini lounge in every floor with snacks and coffee machine.

EeeviacClean room, comfortable bed, good shower and fridge. As other reviews mentioned, public areas could use a little upgrade, but not too bad. Was warned about construction noise but didn't hear any.

LLT NgUnique accommodation that carries vibes of ancient China, mesh with slight modern facilities, both interior as well as external features. Service was very good from kitchen staff, receptionist to cleaning ladies. They were friendly, cheerful and extend their help to us all the time. Shout out to the service crew, 筝筝,欣然,志勇 - excellent service, very warm greetings whenever we walk pass, and they voluntarily helped us with our heavy luggages up the stairs. Keep up the good work!

GGuest UserThis hotel seems to be situated right beside a district filled with middle eastern food from places such as Uyughur/Turkish etc etc. Good for people who crave for such food!
additionally, location is good for people who are planning to cab around, maybe not so much for people who plans to take the public transport.
Room is clean and we got early check in as well with no additional charges.

GGuest UserThis hotel makes people feel at home: it has a warm and homely environment and thoughtful and complete all-weather service. The room is clean and OK. If I have the chance, I will come here again. Looking along the spacious and lively street, the houses on both sides are also very distinctive. It takes only ten minutes to walk to Sanlitun Taikoo Li.
Looking at the bustling crowds in Beijing at night and the dazzling shopping malls, I am still not satisfied.

JJono GIt was a good stay, and the owner was easy to get in contact with.
The only issue was, both Baidu and Google's address for this location, as directed by Trip, was incorrect, we had to figure the location out by asking people, and it was several hundred meters from the maps location.

LLovemylife777The location of the hotel is really good especially for younger people since it is close to Sanlitun District and multiple shopping malls! It is also very worthy of the price considering the room and the quick service! The staff speak English at the reception which it is a plus! Great stay, thank you!

GGuest UserThe folks who work there were very helpfull.
It is a good location ... but it is very close to some big bars and K-TV places so I am sure on a Friday night might be pretty wild.
Rooms are small.
Very good value and quality.
Our room was very close to the lobby ... so not ideal.
