We had an excellent stay at Hotel CitiGO in Beijing! The cleanliness of the hotel was truly impressive—everything from the lobby to the rooms was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout my stay. Even though there was a bit of a language barrier, communication was never an issue thanks to the translating devices they provided, which made everything smooth and easy. What really stood out were the thoughtful extra gifts offered during my visit—such a lovely touch that made the experience even more memorable. Overall, the combination of a clean, modern environment, attentive staff, and practical solutions for communication made my stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Beijing! Each day the cleaning staff comes and provides and changes everything (amenities) we need. Really recommend to anyone. Also there is Subway very near to the hotel in walking distance like in 300m. It is very advantageous. Thanks all once again and we loved our stay.

🚶 Getting There: From Beijing International Airport, I took the subway to Dongzhimen Station, then just a 15-minute walk to the hotel—super easy! 🥰 Amazing Staff: The team here was so kind—they even gave us a free room upgrade! The room was huge, spacious, and way nicer than I expected. ☕️ Little Perks: Every day, the hotel provided free water and coffee, plus daily housekeeping. Such a nice touch! 🍒 Fresh Treats Nearby: Right across the street, there’s a market where I bought the freshest, most delicious fruit. Perfect for snacks! 🏢 Don’t Judge by the Outside: The exterior might not wow you, but inside? A total gem. Cozy, clean, and comfy—exactly what you need. **💖 Verdict:** Loved my stay here! The hotel is about ＜15 mins walk to Dongdadao Station or 14-20 mins to Chaoyangmen Station (although this is not as easily navigated as to Dongdadao). On the way to these two stations (north of the hotel), there are many eateries/services that are catered to ordinary local office workers in the area. From the hotel going south is Ritan park and a bunch of middle eastern/central Asian restaurants that are not wallet-friendly for a budget minded traveller. From here to most tourist attractions is quite convenient (minus the walk between the hotel and train station) because of Chaoyangmen Station is an interchange of 2 good lines. There are free washing machines and dryers on Level 5. Hotel staff don’t speak English and rely on mobile translator device l, which is fine but a bit slow for the communication to get through. What would be the price for this hotel to have a good price performance ratio - 600 rmb/night (incl. taxes) but it is now about 700-900 range.

First impression was not good: Very dirty floor. They got replaced the next day and it was like a brandnew hotel. Location could not be better, very near to SanLitun bar street and close to a lot of restaurants. It is a authentic Chinese neighborhood. Best was the QMex mexican restaurant. AC was quiet and effective and the bathtub was great, nice time to relax. Only disadvantage (as in many other hotels) are the switch panels next to the beds where you don‘t know what will happen when you press something, will the curtain open or the lights go off. They are a nuisance. Staff at the reception was very friendly. Breakfast was real Chinese, don‘t expect fresh rolls, marmalade or scrambled eggs. I went once.

We just left this morning after staying at apartment side for 10 days and hotel room for two nights. We like the location which is convenient and quiet, though walking to the subway takes about 15 mins. The price is right with its competitors, like langyue. Another good point is its generous room size. We will stay again if we come back to beijing again in the future.

The hotel is relatively close to the city center. Taking a cap takes around 20 to 30 min to the forbidden city, which is quick depending on the traffic. The staff is very welcoming, although they don't speak English very well. Be prepared to use a translator. The hotel itself is clean and makes a very good impression. The room itself has air-conditioning, a nice balcony with a view to the neighborhood. Unfortunately the balcony light didn't work for our room, but I saw the others are just fine. We loved the bed and the shower. Really clean. Lights are all controllable from the bed. The TV has Chinese program and a collection of movies. It's not a smart TV unfortunately and we didn't manage to put in English subtitles. The toilet is a smart toilet and was really good. You get a free supply of water and some small tomatoes next to the elevator. They also supply your rook with bottles of water after cleaning (which happens daily!). Shout-out to the cleaning lady, she was so nice. Right next to the hotel there are many bars and restaurants, although more on the expensive side within a walk of 15 min. If you opt to go south from the hotel it takes a 10 min walk to reach some nice local restaurants, a pharmacy and a supermarket. We had the best night drinking and eating with locals there. Super friendly people in this neighborhood. If you want to call a Didi (cheap chinese taxi app) there are good locations around the hotel for dropoff and pickup even with luggage. I can really recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Beijing.

The room is clean and spacious, with a two seater sofa which I like to rest every time I return. However the only minus point is due to season change the air conditioner is emitting warm air despite the weather is already warm. The hotel staff say need two days for the technician to reset the temperature. Meanwhile only a portable air cooler is what they can offer me. During the first two nights I didn't sleep well as it's still warm and the direct blowing from the cooler make my eyes very dry and tired.

The Art Centre showcases impressive paintings, while the European-style classic cinema adds a vintage touch. The swimming pool and spa offer a relaxing, resort-like experience. Most notably, the top floor provides a breathtaking panoramic view of Beijing, making it a popular photoshoot spot for many celebrities. The hotel’s location is very convenient, close to famous shopping and entertainment centers. I will definitely come back!

The room is just the right size for a solo getaway. Everything is thoughtfully arranged in a compact space without feeling cramped. The design is modern and clean, with a clear separation between the bathroom and sleeping area. The bed is cozy, and there’s a small table that’s perfect for light meals or getting some work done. I also appreciated the generous supply of bottled water and the complete set of drinkware—perfect for someone traveling alone who still wants comfort and convenience.
