GreenTree Express Hotel (Beijing Dongcheng Beixinqiao Subway Station Guijie)

I arrived in Beijing to catch a flight before leaving for a trip abroad and wanted to explore the capital. With two large suitcases, I stayed for three days. Overall, the location within the Second Ring Road was quite good for the price and size. Transportation: 5 stars for convenience. Capital Airport is directly connected to Xinbeiqiao subway station, and the hotel is a 3-minute walk away, making it suitable for travelers with heavy luggage. It's convenient for exploring the city center and is close to a variety of amenities. Cleanliness: 4 stars for interior cleanliness, excellent air conditioning, and clean sheets and quilts. 2 stars for exterior hallway cleanliness: the carpet was stained, and the hallway was narrow and smelly, but that's understandable given the old hutong environment. Facilities: 4 stars for space. The room was a duplex, and two 20-inch suitcases fit perfectly. I also checked out other rooms in the hotel, which were cheaper but very cramped and unsuitable for larger suitcases. Ambience: 1 star. The most unacceptable thing about the hotel was the soundproofing. The neighbors walking up and down the stairs were very noisy, waking me up early in the morning. The soundproofing in this old building is truly poor. Service: The service is 2 stars. I stayed for three days. I don't know if it was default that the room was not cleaned or the aunt forgot. No one cleaned for 3 days and it was a holiday. I had to ask the aunt for garbage bags, towels and water myself.

It's terrible. The boxes can't be opened and there's nowhere to put them. Disposable paper cups, no paper towels or hand sanitizer.
