Hot spring Hotels in Beijing

Lovely hotel in good location for the mall. Staff excellent and standard of hotel very good. Hot spring is lovely but comes with an extra charge. I hope this could be made clearer as it is shown in the general hotel photos and I thought it was included in the rate.

Great location, the hotel is within Gubei Water Town. It is a short walk to Simatai great wall cable car and to the main area of the water town. Room was clean and comfortable except that it didn’t have air condition. Called the front desk and was told we’ll have to open the windows. We went in October so it was chill at night. Breakfast spread was amazing, there was so much options. It’s slightly pricey, but you pay for what you get.

The Mid-Levels Hotel interprets what it means to feel at home. From the moment you step into the hotel, you can put down everything and enjoy your own vacation. It goes without saying that they help you carry your luggage. Seeing that I have booked a yoga class in the afternoon, they patiently introduce the layout of the hotel. Other details are well done, thick cotton slippers, and warm towels to wrap your head after taking a bath. Thanks to the old man in the hot spring. There is basically no one on weekdays. Although the hot springs are partially open, each one is also treated as a private bath. The pillow menu is even more well-received. Although it was not used, the housekeeper was very considerate to replenish the minibar the next day, a whole portion. Before leaving, Luna, the housekeeper, kindly sent two ice creams. Thanks again to Luna for her care. The only small drawback that can be mentioned may be that the decoration has some traces of time, and the floor tiles and wall joints are not handled well, resulting in yellowing now. In addition, the cost-effectiveness of the Chinese restaurant can be said to be almost non-existent, and it is completely not at the same level as the Chinese and Western breakfasts. The breakfast can be said to be very rich, and it can be ranked among the top few I have ever stayed in.

This venue was selected for its location to a conference I was attending in Chaoyong. The breakfasts were filling - traditional cuisine, with some stock standards western foods. Be prepared to have your google translator on the ready when talking to the front desk and do check out the food delivering robots. Staff were lovely, and the only issue was that the rooms still smelled of smokers from previous travellers. Some good restaurants and grocery shopping all round-so go for walks using the underpass across the road or head right outside the hotel for some other shops. Lots of beautiful museum pieces on display too. This hotel is not close to the city centre - it' about a 20 min drive to the Pearl Market, but is' quiet and a large hotel hotel. Be prepared for traffic jams so give yourself plenty of time to get to the theatre etc. I would come back.

OMG...I booked the chairman's suite and it was absolutely amazing. This property is a beautiful retreat tucked away with gorgeous views of the great wall and conveniently close enough to access Mutianyu. We visited in late October and received a wonderful halloween surprise . This hotel went all out with decorations for Halloween 🎃 it was amazing. We will definitely be booking this hotel again for our family vacation

The environment is clean, and the service of free coffee and milk 24 hours a day is very good. The butler arranged a welcome card, but unfortunately he wrote the wrong name of someone else. I don't know if it was a mistake or the first guest didn't take it with him. After staying for three nights, I notified the housekeeper and asked the housekeeper to help change the sheets and disposable bedding when we went out the next day (I asked the housekeeper if she could help change the bedding once, and she said yes, as long as I put the disposable bedding in the left corner) , the office manager will replace it for me). The next morning we went out early in the morning and returned to the hotel in the evening. We found that in addition to the disposable bedding, the bed sheets had not been changed either. Very disappointed.

Very good option for a vacation in a city. The hotel has amenities of a resort, just at the outskirts of Beijing. Plenty of option to enjoy hot spring. If you enjoy ”traffic jam” in the large restaurant during lunch and evening time, having a package including meals, hot bath and accommodation is a good option. The hotel offers meals 4 times per day, breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper (midnight meal, just after the hot baths are closed). Little bit noisy and not pleasant rooms if not having windows outside. Good option to have vindows towards outside of hotel, more light and air. Overal good hotel, good service. Some things still need improvement, some refurbishing would be great, but indeed price-service-quality is very good level. And yes, is few minutes from metro station on line 16 (you count some 40 min to arrive downtown).

We had an amazing staycation at this hotspring resort. I was very impressed with the customer service we recieved. Everyone was incredibly kind and went out of their way to help. The staff has clearly had 5 star training. I would like to make particular note of Mr. Lee at the front desk. Upon check-in, he served us and acknowledged that not all the staff spoke English and that we should contact him directly over Wechat if we needed anything. On several occassions I contacted him and he was prompt and curtious. He was a great ambassador for the hotel. For example, room service forgot chicken on on salad, and he promptly pologized and arranged for two new compelmentary salads to be sent (i believe this was an oversight as the hotel was very busy with a special chiristmas dinner that night). It is common in Beijing for hotel staff not to speak English, however we did found several memebers of staff that did. For example. when we went to the dining hall, they sent an English speaker over to help us. Further, the dining hall manager checked in with us and personally cleared plates away. Buffet breakfast was above average with western and chinese food. Also, when ordering room service, though they did not speak English, they sent someone to our room with a menu so that we could point to the items we wanted. Overall, the hotel is new and to Western standards of cleanliness and quality. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We were with my 2 month old baby and my 85 year old father, all generations enjoyed our time. The hot springs were very clean (not always the case in China) and they were alongside swimming pools with kids climbing apparatice and water ball pit. It was also nice that there were complementary refreshments (snacks and drinks) at the hot springs. In the winter air, the outdoor hotsprings were great. Finally., though it wasnt a huge attraction, its nice to see the lammas, chicken and horses. Overall, I could not recommend this place more. I will defintely stay again.

I went for a small mini-break to escape the hustle of Beijing. I have been here before with friends. With friends and some wine this place is great. On your own it is great too... but only if you love the Hot Springs. I do. The hotel would be pointless if you don't like Hot Springs / Swimming. My only disappointment was that, because it was mid-week, the breakfast range was tiny compared to when I came with friends on the weekend. Both the hotel and Hot Spring were much cheaper... so that was good... but I felt that they over-simplified the breakfast buffet. Somethings they had before (like jams and preserves) are sealed and have long sell-by dates... so why not put them out? Likewise, why offer only one juice... can't you offer a range but put them in smaller containers if you are worried about waste? The Hot Springs are the clear highlight. I highly recommend going after dark. Tickets seem valid for 24 hours, so I went for a few hours daytime, then back to the room, then again after dark. At night it was so peaceful.

When I came to Yanqing again, my first choice was still the Expo Hyatt! I must give it full marks! I was very satisfied with the room and the view was good enough. It was facing the Expo Gate 2. From the early contact with the staff Li Yue to the front desk Zhang Lin who helped arrange the check-in and Xiaoyu's later communication, the Hyatt staff were very professional, enthusiastic and efficient! Ctrip's customer service was also very helpful. Thank you!
