Just my favorite hotel in Beijing. Great GREAT value for money. Best way to relax. Everything and everyone fabulous. Awesome for foreigners...felt so SO welcome. I would go every weekend if I could ❤️

♡ A Magical Experience ♡ We had an incredible stay at the Beijing Wtown Resort (古北之光度假酒店), a luxurious property nestled in the scenic Gubei Water Town. The hotel’s unique W-shaped design added a modern yet elegant charm to the resort. The property was impeccably spotless, spacious, and offered 5-star service throughout our visit. Our room was a highlight, offering a direct view of the Great Wall of China—a breathtaking sight that made waking up each morning truly unforgettable. Another standout feature was the free access to the nearby hot spring, conveniently located just steps from the hotel. It was the perfect way to unwind and relax after exploring the town. The staff at the hotel were outstanding, and a special mention must go to Ms. Yang LiJun (杨利君小姐), who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. She assisted us with every aspect of our visit, from ensuring our accommodations were perfectly arranged to organizing a memorable Christmas Eve dining experience. Ms. Yang even went out of her way to help with our transportation back to Beijing City, which was particularly thoughtful given the distance from Gubei Town. Her warm hospitality, attention to detail, and professionalism truly stood out, leaving us with a lasting impression of her exceptional service. In summary, the Beijing Wtown Resort exceeded all expectations with its stunning design, luxurious amenities, and dedicated staff. We are deeply grateful to Ms. Yang for her efforts in making our stay truly special. This resort is a gem, and we look forward to returning in the future.

The Mid-Levels Hotel interprets what it means to feel at home. From the moment you step into the hotel, you can put down everything and enjoy your own vacation. It goes without saying that they help you carry your luggage. Seeing that I have booked a yoga class in the afternoon, they patiently introduce the layout of the hotel. Other details are well done, thick cotton slippers, and warm towels to wrap your head after taking a bath. Thanks to the old man in the hot spring. There is basically no one on weekdays. Although the hot springs are partially open, each one is also treated as a private bath. The pillow menu is even more well-received. Although it was not used, the housekeeper was very considerate to replenish the minibar the next day, a whole portion. Before leaving, Luna, the housekeeper, kindly sent two ice creams. Thanks again to Luna for her care. The only small drawback that can be mentioned may be that the decoration has some traces of time, and the floor tiles and wall joints are not handled well, resulting in yellowing now. In addition, the cost-effectiveness of the Chinese restaurant can be said to be almost non-existent, and it is completely not at the same level as the Chinese and Western breakfasts. The breakfast can be said to be very rich, and it can be ranked among the top few I have ever stayed in.

Love this resort! We stayed for one night to visit Mutianyu Great Wall - definitely recommended doing it this way than driving in one day from Beijing. Resort is beautifully designed to blend with the surroundings, photos don’t do it justice! Our room had a view of the Great Wall which was amazing! Rooms are nicely furnished with great little touches (eye mask, extra heaters, fruits, roasted chestnuts:). Breakfast was a al carte in their bistro and it was very well prepared. You can also have drinks or free tea/coffee during the day. We had a dinner in the Vietnamese restaurant in their sister resort next door, another beautifully designed place, food ok. Hotel service was great (esp. Stanley), they offered free drop off and pick from the Mutianyu entrance (use WeChat to call for pick up). Also, they gave us free tix for art & architecture museum in the village - 5-10 mins walk, do visit if you can, museum is very contemporary, again great design, but still somehow sits nicely in this sweet village. Getting to resort with DiDi was painless, about CNY230 one way (premium car), about 80mins.

Very satisfied, especially the housekeeper Ms. Peng Cancan and her housekeeper team who provided very considerate service. I will choose St. Regis when I come to Beijing for business trips in the future!

The room was very clean and warm. The exclusive butler was very responsible and helped me solve the problem of takeaway meals and reminded me of the meal time in advance. The parent-child hot spring hotel has a variety of activities. Although there are many people, it is not crowded. The long waiting time for the elevator is a disadvantage. There are only six elevators in total and there are many people. If the staircase can be opened, it should be much easier.

This hotel is pretty good. I wanted to find a hotel that had a warm kids pool so I could take my daughter to swim. The kids pool is pretty big and the temperature is perfect. As you can only enter the hot spring area once, I was able to let my daughter nap on my lap while my husband and I had some fruit and drinks at the seated area without having to leave the hot springs. The room is spacious and mostly clean. However, I wouldn't say this hotel is 5 stars. The decoration is outdated and needs to undergo refurbishment. The bath was dirty and had lots of things floating in it when we filled it up with water, so we had to empty and refill before washing in it. Then, when drying my daughter's hair with the hairdryer in the bathroom, the hallway light keep flickering and the hairdryer was cutting off. It seems there was some electrical problem with the socket. It started to make a spark noise and smelt like burning, so we had to quickly unplug the hairdryer for fear of it going on fire. The location is in the middle of nowhere, so it's not convenient if you want to buy food or snacks. i personally didn't like the hotel breakfast. It doesn't compare to other international brand hotel standards. Overall, it would a pleasant stay, but only because it was suitable for my daughter to swim..

Stepping into the hotel lobby, a warm and luxurious atmosphere hits you. The three staff members on duty at the front desk, Chen Rong, Gao Mei, and Huang Tianqi, were filled with warm smiles. They professionally and efficiently led me to check in, and also introduced the hotel's facilities and surrounding attractions to me. When I entered the room, I couldn't help but be amazed. The decoration of the room is exquisite and stylish, and every detail shows quality and style. The soft and comfortable big bed is like a white cloud, making people want to lie down and relax. The bedding is clean and tidy, and the touch is excellent. The lighting in the room is also very good, with spacious and bright space and all kinds of facilities. The environment of the restaurant is elegant and comfortable, and the dishes are rich, diverse and unique. Throughout the stay, the service of the hotel staff has always touched me. They always pay attention to the needs of the guests. Whether it is a small request or an emergency problem encountered, they will help and solve it as soon as possible. If there is a chance to come to this hotel again.

Check in on January 31, 2025, check out on February 2, three days and two nights package 1688, 400 extra per night! During the stay, I was very satisfied with the service attitude of every staff member, whether in the lobby or the restaurant, every staff member greeted us with a smile and answered patiently! 1. We went to the Expo Park on the first day of check-in. Less than ten minutes after entering the park, the child fell asleep, and we went back to the hotel without visiting anything... I asked the front desk if the ticket was valid the next day, and the reply was invalid, but the staff saw that we were staying for three days and two nights, so they gave us two more! 2. The child's scarf was dirty, and I wanted some laundry detergent to wash it, but I forgot to bring makeup remover oil. I saw a small sign in the cloakroom saying that it could be provided. I called to ask if it could still be provided? The staff delivered them one by one, and the laundry detergent was very easy to use! 3. The takeaway we ordered was delivered. Since the whole family had just taken a bath and were afraid of catching a cold, I asked the front desk if the food could be delivered, and the staff personally delivered it to the room! 4. I booked a twin room, intending to sleep in two beds together, and squeeze in the larger one. We didn't know how to do it ourselves, and the staff came to help! Based on the above four points, I am very satisfied with this trip, impeccable!
